Welder Events

The Event Space at The Welder was a perfect space for our art exhibition! We were supported throughout by the team and everything was made super easy, taking the stress out of organising an event. From the preparation to a bumper opening night and through the week following, nothing was a problem! We can't wait to come back!

We hosted a party at the Welder Events space and Sophie was amazing to deal with. She helped from the start to the very finish and even followed up post the event. She made an appointment with us to show us the venue and give a guide then on the day she was there to make sure we didn't have any other requests then followed up after the event welcoming any feedback. Absolutely loved using the space and it held 50 guests easy! Would highly recommend using this space for any functions.

We hosted my 21st at the Welder Events in July, and it was the best night! Sophie was amazing to work with, from organising times for my parents and I to come meet with her to arrange things, to answering our millions of questions! It really made the whole planning process a breeze, and left us with little to do day of the event so we could just enjoy. It was really cool to be able to have my 21st the exact way I envisioned it, from the decorations/florals/everything else being organised through Sophie, to being able to specify what drinks I wanted for the bar really made the Welder stand out when we were choosing the venue. The venue was perfect, with the indoor and outdoor space and it held the 100 people that attended perfectly without feeling cramped. Highly recommend Welder Events and Sophie to anyone looking for a venue in Christchurch!

We had the most amazing ceremony at The Welder Events. Sophie and the team were great to deal with and made sure everything ran smoothly. We didn't need to do much to dress the venue up as it already looks great! It's a stunning location for photography as well - with the white walls and natural light streaming in. Highly recommend!

I always knew it would be amazing but it really confirmed it after all the positive feedback I received from my clients that attended the event I held at The Welder It was soo easy to use, Sophie and her team were great, comms were great, the facility was great, the look and feel was great! Was all just too good! Even simple things like them being able to simply text them as they have the ability to remote lock and unlock the venue so I was able to gain access when I needed it, and text them when I was finished. So good. Would 100% book again!
