Wellesley Resort

The resort is beautiful. Riz and his staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and impeccably clean. The pool was pristine and the gardens green and lush. The beach is a short walk away and is a safe spot to swim. The food was great and I especially loved breakfast.

My best resort experience in Fiji so far! The peace and quiet were unmatched, the food was absolutely delicious (few options but great quality and veggie options), and the swimming pool with its stunning view was incredible. The resort is located just 5 minutes from the main road, but it feels like a world away. I recommend embracing the tranquility, as there aren’t any big cities or shops nearby—exactly what I was looking for. Simply perfect! Thanks to Riz, the manager, who was really great.

Lovely spot in a secluded quiet area along the Coral Coast. The rooms were huge and very clean, the personal swimming pools were great too. There was nothing better than getting up in the morning and having a quick dip. |The two things that really stood out for wellesley resort was the food and how nice the staff were. The food was honestly the nicest food i had in all of fiji, the breakfasts were lovely with loads of fresh fruit and smoothies. |This spot is the perfect place for a couple looking to have some relaxing time with excellent food.

The resort/facilities are in a great and tidy shape. Food was delicious, served by lovely staff. ||Loved walking all the way to the beach, kayaking and swimming. The picturesque and pristine view of the sea through the trees from the restaurant just awesome.||Wellesley is the place to be for cozy, private, relaxing, green and natural getaway...

Such a beautiful resort with the loveliest, funniest and most welcoming staff you could meet. The food was delicious. When you visit, try the Fijian food. We had kokoda and ika vakalolo for lunch and dinner and lolo buns for breakfast. If the chef, Jackie, is still there - ask him to take you swimming to catch seafood. Talk to the staff about all of their adventures, everyone at the resort has an amazing story to tell. Make use of all the beautiful greenery and walk around. This place will be memorable.

This is a small, adults only resort that is in a beautiful setting. The new manager, Riz, is very attentive and nothing is too much trouble. It is a wonderful place to just relax and unwind by the pool. There is good snorkeling right off the beach. Not Great Barrier Reef quality, but still plenty of things to see underwater. |The road in is a bit rough but still easily driveable in a standard car. Having a car to see some other areas is a good idea. The food menu is a bit limited but there is another resort 10 minutes walk along the beach for a change. I stayed 7 days and could easily have stayed a couple more.

If you are looking for a couples getaway that is quite, private and peaceful then this is the place to be. We had the room with the private plunge pool and was so beautiful, what you see in the photos is exactly what this place is but so much more. From the hotel manager, garden staff, restaurant and house keeping, these guys know what true hospitality is and make you feel so welcomed and at home. Attention to detail is what they all pocess with a friendly bula welcome. Food is good, we enjoyed the breaky and yet to have dinner tonight. The private beach is secluded as well ... has a lot of corals so take your beach shoes too and is nice to walk along the shoreline collecting beautiful shells too :) We heard they are due for upgrades soon so can't wait to return then. Awesome service Wellesley Resort and we will definitely return!

The Wellesley is close to Crusoes Resort, just down the beach, and has a good menu breakfast, lunch and dinner. The service was great and I enjoyed my dinners there each night. The staff were welcoming and friendly even though I wasn’t staying there. Thanks so much!
