About 20 vendors on Labor Day mostly jewelry and shirts. I got 4 pair earrings for $10 and some $1 matchbox cars for my grandson

Nice flea market, we went on a Thursday and rain was moving in so some venders were closed up. Many different types of vendors. I left with some great things

I called ahead because I was worried if I went on a Thursday there wouldn’t be as many vendors- but I was assured there was just as many vendors everyday but to call ahead bc they’re very weather dependent. I called the morning before I left (85 degrees out, cloudy, no chance of rain) to confirm that they were open and had a good amount of vendors that day. I showed up an hour and a half later and there was only 7 tents set up with several of them selling SHEIN and temu items. I asked as I was leaving about the lack of vendors and was told it’s always less crowded on Thursdays and it’s too hot so everyone left. Wish they had told me that when I called before I made the drive down.

Small, quaint spot. Uses the parking lot of a drive-in movie theater. $2 parking per car, 75 cents to just walk in. Probably about 40 vendors total, so a modest little flea market. Nice this has been going on for quite some time.

A small flea market, best on the weekends. There are the regulars around but sometimes there are gems that pop up and you happen on some treasures for inexpensive. Everything from nick knacks to tools. Books to bracelets. Sunglasses to shirts. Paintings to pottery. Something for everything, a place to visit on down time or mornings.

Mostly a lot of overpriced well used items. Some art, some jewelry. Oddly enough a massage chair, in use no less.

So much fun. Jewelry, antiques, clothes, hats, . The beer garden was nice

Slow day. Many booths closed before closing time. Decent variety of booths. Many are cash only. Restrooms. Snack bar and beer garden. Music piped from snack bar. Car entry fee based on how many vendors; from $1 to $3. Tshirts, sweats. Sunglasses, books, records, CDs cassettes, make up, hats, flowy rayon Indian style clothes and tapestries, African wood sculpture, driftwood art, jewelry and jewelry making bits, artist paintbrushes, cutlery, ephemera, collectibles, estate sale type objects. I've been coming here for years. Wonderful drive in theatre. Reasonable, good snacks, and it's a fun night out. Bug spray or wipes if you're prone to mosquito bites as I am. The Flea market is a must. New merchandise and antiques. I have bought wonderful antiques here. Sterling and old costume jewelry. And well made necessary things. Like good scissors, when they made scissors well that didn't fall apart. Scissors you buy nowadays are not as good as the stainless steel heavy duty ones made pre 1970. I kid you not. So for those treasures, utilitarian items, or a new pack of socks, go to the Wellfleet flea market and come back at night for a double feature at the DriveIn. Don't forget mosquito repellent! Great snack bar and dairy bar.

The drive-in experience is so much fun! Pro Tip: hang some dryer sheets in the windows to deter bugs! On a rainy day, they also have indoor theaters and in my experience the A/C doesn't blast as much as some of the bigger chain cinemas.

The drive-in is magnificent! The food is pricy (as expected), but the hotdog hit the spot. The popcorn made my stomach really upset, as well as my sister's.

The Wellfleet Drive-In is an awesome summer experience that recalls the "olden times" of rotary telephones, AM radio, and Schwinn bicycles with banana seats. It's a great family event that all ages can enjoy. I highly recommend bringing your own folding chairs, a cooler full of drinks, and your own meal. That being said, you can't beat movie theater (drive-in) popcorn, so go ahead and buy a bucket. Come early for the best "seating".

So even if in your website it says your open hatch has to be even with your roof so others can see, it's not really true. No one follows the rules and then others who have paid can't see. So if you actually want to see the screen, don't come here.

This was my girls first visit to a drive-in. We had so much fun. I didn't even know they still had drive-ins. We watched the minions movie. What a memorable experience with my girls.

Screen is small, parking lot unorganized. Discriminate against trucks. Staff was so rude almost asked for our money back and we just wanted to watch Barbie in peace. Speaker system outdated. Snack shack looks like it could burn down at any minute, probably going to call the fire Marshall and make sure they're up to code. I had wanted to come here for years, but I'd never been to one of these, so I was too stressed out about imagining how it'd work to go. . . so I'm going to give all the details. I bought the tickets online, which was recommended. Then, you drive through a little gate, and there's a MASSIVE parking lot - all cordoned off, and people show you where to park. We backed our pick up in, put the speakers in the bed of the truck, and then the kids could sit in the back and we put chairs out. I thought people would block your view, but it's easy to see, and you can sit in lawn chairs outside your car the whole time. I wasn't bothered by bugs. We ordered pizza from Fairway and then ate that while we waited for the movie. It started raining while we were there, so we left after the first movie, but we're definitely going to make this a yearly activity when we're down in Wellfleet. Lots of fun!

I haven't been to a drive-in movie theater in decades and this one was really nice. It definitely helped scratch that itch for back in the day nostalgia. The place is run well and orderly and everyone in the parking lot seems to know basic rules of civility. I'll definitely go back again next summer.

We try to get to the Wellfleet Drive in every summer. This is a great place to end the evening on a warm Cape Cod summer day. I highly recommend you come here at least once. There is designated parking for Trucks and SUVs, Beer garden, and concession stand.

Very cool experience here! It's definitely a blast from the past- with the speakers for the car (if you don't want to use the car radio) and everything. People bring lawn chairs and sit outside their cars, sit on top of their cars, in back of their cars with the trunk door open... lots of possibilities. We didn't check out the snack stand (brought our own snacks), so can't report on that. Great family activity for the evening. We saw ghostbusters (it was a double feature with karate kid, which some family members stayed for). It's also an awesome option if your family includes dogs- because you can take them to the movies with you, in your car, and cuddle up with them throughout, like we did :).

We did the drive in and it was a cool experience. The moon was out, which made it that much better. The only thing I didn't like was that the couple next to us were arguing really loud so we has to roll our windows up. We had the sound tuned in to the radio station and the sound quality was great. It was $12 per person. Check the website for movies and viewing schedule. We did the flea market the next day, hoping for lots of vendors, but that did not happen. Vendors were scarce. We went through it in less than an hour with not much to see. I heard so much about it but was disappointed with our experience.

Awesome drive in movies. Big snack bar with lots of great options, clean bathrooms, plenty of parking spots. Tip - bring chairs to sit outside your car if you have a crowd instead of being packed into the car. And bug spray!

Went last night to see Goonies. Good throw back drive in experience. Exactly what we hoped for with staff being very friendly, helpful and made common sense Covid changes. Snack shack had a long line though and food was very average. Should consider allowing mobile or call ahead ordering.

The drive-in is great (though pricey!), but this review is for the flea market. I used to go when my family visited Wellfleet, and we took our kids there just now on a Saturday. There were plenty of varied and friendly vendors. Look for the wood carver, who may be against the far wall enjoying the shade - he makes great local wall art at very low prices. You can still find random useful things, antiques, collectibles, jewelry, and other assorted bargains. A great morning.

I absolutely love this place. Drive-In movie theaters, unfortunately, seem to be a dying entertainment commodity in the United States. Reminiscent of the classic spots in the 1950s and 1960s America, Wellfleet's drive in is a quaint and fond reminder of America's entertainment history. I have vivid memories as coming to this spot a youngster with my parents. There's a certain magic to hearing the film's audio hit your ears through the car's speakers. I attended the theater for the first time in nearly a decade this past summer, and was happy to relive the experiences I so fondly remember from my childhood. We saw a double feature, Finding Dory and the Jungle Book (CG version). It was great to see families with young children attending. The playground equipment allow impatient kids to play while awaiting the moviel I was so thrilled to return again and enjoy this post-modern venue once again. Hopefully, I will be returning next summer to enjoy it the same way.

We took our two daughters to see Jungle Book, a movie from 2016. We were going expecting to pay no more than $20 for the car to enter, but were shocked to find out it was $11 per person. I can understand why a regular movie theatre would charge per person as only a certain amount of people can fit in the seats. However, whether you have 1 person or 8 people, a car still takes the same amount of space. Also, as I mentioned the movie was from 2016 and is available to rent online for $3. Lastly, the experience was subpar. The screen was very dark and when watching from the car if you open the windows there is a delay between the car speakers and the speakers in the parking lot. I really would like to know what they are doing with all the profits as they certainly aren't investing it back into the technology. Everything seems like it's from the middle of the 20th century.

Really disappointed in the Wellfleet Drive-in during this pandemic. I bought tickets for the drive-in this evening. However, my daughter was showing symptoms of a cold/virus. Instead of taking her, I made the decision to keep other patrons safe. I called to ask about refunds/rain checks and was very coldly told that all sales were final. Under normal circumstances I understand, but aren't we all supposed to be doing our part to keep our neighbors safe? You've lost a customer for life.

Nostalgia!!! This place doesn't change which is what's great about it. Note it's no longer priced by car load but by person and cash only to get in you can use cards at food stand.

There are not many drive in theaters left - a whole generation has lost out on this childhood rite of passage. Fast forward to adulthood and your watching the 1986 Ghostbusters movie with sushi and a bottle of really delicious sake. Just because you grow up doesn't mean you can't still have fun, sometimes the fun just needs an upgrade. Re live some of your childhood - just remember don't drink too much sake because dad isn't there to carry you into the house.

Very laid back and delightful experience! Checks all the boxes: healthy dose of nostalgia, friendly staff, good snack options, throw back movies, and a decent sound system. Definitely will be coming back! My only caveat is covid related, I wish the staff preparing the food in the snack shack would wear their masks over the noses but honestly, I'm just thankful everyone had a mask on in general.

Drive-in by night, flea market by day, this so the one stop shop for summer fun. The flea market has a ton of vendors in the summer with items ranging from old tools, tourist tshirts, African masks, tapestries, toddler cloths, Avon products, antiques, etc etc there is a place to get fried and a hot dog and most importantly a beer garden. Shopping is much more fun after a drink (or two) after all. There is also a little playground of the kids get antsy (while you're at the beer garden ;). Saturdays and sundays in July and august have the most vendors (but be wary of changeover traffic on Saturday.) the flea market runs until Columbus Day weekend, which had 50 or so vendors this past weekend.

i think it's so cool that this business is still going. the tradition is rly fun, and they have a concession stand for essentials.

I've been coming to the Cape my whole life. I look forward to the flea market that has tons of vendors in the summer. It's usually $2 a car to get in. There's something for everyone! This includes makeup, purses, fishing lures, cape cod t-shirts, jewelry, instruments, hand crafted art and frankly, junk. It's enjoyable to walk around and get some sun. The drive-in is a must! I loved it as a kid and I love it now. Plan ahead and bring snacks and drinks (much cheaper and save yourself from standing in line). I had a nice night with some cheese, crackers and a bottle of wine with my boyfriend for date night. It was $9 a person for two movies that are newly released. Bring some pillows, blankets or chairs to sit outside. We got there at 7:40pm and the movie was scheduled to start at 8:20pm and parking was fine. **A great tip is to bring a battery powered radio so you don't kill your car battery and you can turn it up loud.

I've been here for both the drive-in and the flea market. The flea market is fine as far as flea markets go. It's basically a bunch of crap you don't need but it can be fun to walk around. As others have noted it gets hot in the sun in the summer and there is no shade do dress and time your visit accordingly. The drive-in is more fun than the flea market. It's your basic old-school drive in like I remember as a little kid. SUVs are only allowed to park in the first 2 rows or last 7, so you might want to get there early to ensure you get a good spot. In fact I got here so early that I have time to write this review on my iPad while I'm waiting for it to get dark. It's a pretty good deal. $9/person gets you 2 reasonably recent movies. Generally speaking the first movie is geared toward kids the later movie for adults or older kids. There is a snack bar but I bring my own food and maybe some wine and have fun with it. No IMAX or 3D but it's still fun to watch a movie at the ole drive in. Gotta go the movie is about to start!

We returned to the flea market - this time on a Wednesday morning. I had a great time, found some cool treasures but my biff is about this place is that it was not big enough. Not enough vendors with cool antique junk. We were in and out of there in under 2 hours. Also there is NO SHADE at all so be mindful about bringing your pet.

Tradition to come here during the summer. I would give 5 stars but this year was sadly disappointing. Only 60 vendors available when last year there were over 100+ selling some great things from handmade honey, jellies, jams, candles, jewelry, etc! This venue doubles as a drive in movie theatre at night, which is awesome! Some great flicks playing for the next few weeks but I don't have time to get down there for a back-to-back.

Coming to this drive in for 30 years. An absolute gem on Cape Cod. Also, the best bargain in town. A wonderful family experience. Arrive early for prime spots. Bug spray is mandatory. Frequented the flea market many times over the years and I've found some great items! That said, it's scaled back considerably. Still so much fun. You can get through the flea market in under an hour. Twenty years ago this was an all day event! If your vacationing on the Cape this summer, carve out a day for the flea market and drive in movie. It's a tradition you're sure to keep for years to come.

Arrived at 8am. Only about 20 vendors. Several not even set up yet. Mostly junk. Considering it was a Saturday and we paid to enter what a let down!

The flea market that our kids talk about every year! This year we went there multiple times! Something for everyone and decent prices. A must stop when you are up this way!

What a fun night! Obviously the facilities are a little dated, but that did not affect the amazing night my family had here! Staying for both movies, it was a blast from the past for the parents and a first time experience for the kids! Bundle up and bring bug spray, but other than that you're set!

The drive-in, which doubles as a flea market, is situated behind a regular movie theater. They show double features every night for $10 per person. Most of the speakers still work, but they provide a radio station just in case yours is broken, or not loud enough. There's a playground for the kiddos, and the concession stand has lots of options. The concession prices are lower than what you'd pay at a normal theater.

The Summer time on the Cape and this authentic (few left these days) drive in that brings back memories of my childhood and new experiences of summers on the Cape. Our family annual trip over Labor Day - ends with a drive in experience at Wellfleet!. My favorite thing that brought back memories of my childhood in Hamilton, MT Drive In - was the burgers and hot dogs. The burgers are simple, yet tasty and perfect for a drive in. I can't get enough of them. The traditions are long at this place and the only advice I have - come early, stay late and just hang out and experience a classic! Watch out - you never know who may pull up to you. One Summer - Harry Connick and his family!

This place will always hold a place in my memories, got to see a double feature with wifey after a game of mini golf. Great date night for about $30-$40 with admissions, golf and snacks. ***many empty beers in the trash cans at the end of the night.

This is a must visit when on Cape Cod! Very reasonable pricing ($9/person) for two movies, and they have a great concession stand if you don't bring your own food (which I highly recommend... what other place can you go see a feature film while snacking on brie and grapes?!). The films tend to be more kid-oriented (this summer they've shown Inside Out, Minions, etc. but they update the schedule each week and have movies that adults will enjoy too (Jurassic World, etc.). They don't accept credit cards for tickets, so keep in mind that you'll need cash to get in. They do accept credit cards at the concession stand. I love that they're involved in local events like the Provincetown International Film Festival - and the owners are from Cape Cod, too! I can't recommend this place more and strongly urge you to support it so that we can keep this mainstay of the Outer Cape open for years to come!

This place flat out sucks. There is a playground for kids (in far too close proximity to everyone trying to watch a movie)that have been dragged here by their parents to go absolutely wild and ruin the movie for everyone else. Many idiot movie goers stupidly leave their headlights on throughout the movie which destroys the atmosphere of a drive in. You'd be a fool to show up here.

I went to a drive-in!!!! Do you know how long I've wanted to go to a drive-in!?!??! The experience at the Wellfleet drive-in was delightful. There is no other word. When I came out of the bedroom wearing a 1950's style cocktail dress (complete with bright red lipstick and heels), my boyfriend (who knows me oh-so-well) warned that I could be getting my expectations a little too high for the drive-in experience. "Nonsense!" I cried, as I put on some Ricky Nelson music and pinned my hair. "I'm going to a drive-in!" Luckily, I was completely right to get my hopes up, bcs the Wellfleet Drive-In delivered. We got there super early on a Tuesday, bcs I was NOT about to not get a good spot at my first drive-in experience. There weren't too many cars there, but my understanding is this place gets crowded. It def filled up on a Tuesday night! If you're here on vacay, I recommend planning ahead. Eat dinner early and bring a book! Just before the film started (double feature for $9 people!!! [cash only]), Joe went and got popcorn. You get to butter it yourself, which is such a nice change from the fascist snack bars of modern cinema. Yeah, I said it. Before the film started, they play the national anthem!!! How GREAT is that?!? I was only mad bcs no one sang it. I mean, they had the lyrics right on the screen. I bet back in the day, everyone got out of their cars and sang. OH! and there is also a version of Let's All Go to the Lobby that plays. Complete with frolicking animated snacks. The screen was good. No issues there. Sound was fantastic bcs, even though there are AWESOME little speakers, you actually play the sound through your radio (oh, so make sure your radio works!) That's nice bcs you can turn it down or up if the scene demands (or I guess if you have kids and they're starting to snooze. I saw lots of people with little kids in their jim-jams. So adorbz.) Things I wish I had known before going in: - Bring chairs or camp out in your hatchback. Or own a convertible. Your windshield is going to fog up and it's kind of uncomfortable to sit in a car for two hours. If you must sit in your car, bring a towel. - Bring bug spray, bcs w the windows down, your basically a mosquito restaurant. I wonder if mosquitoes go to the drive-in on special occasions "It's our 10-minute anniversary, mosquito wife! Let's go to the drive-in and let the food come to us!" - Hell, you might as well bring a cooler of snacks or dinner too! Unlike the regular cinema, you could sit at the drive-in and eat a rack of ribs for all they care (no open fires, btw) - Know your car. This seems stupid, but I had a heck of a time getting the dashboard lights off w/o turning the car back on, which would have been rude to do. Ended up throwing a towel over the steering wheel. - Choose parking wisely. Most big vehicles go in the back, but that doesn't mean other peoples' hatchbacks won't be in the way. - If you and Little Susie fall asleep past curfew, start planning right away what you'll tell her mama and what you'll tell her pa, and of course what you'll tell your friends when they say, "Ooh la la!"

Drive In Movies, such a staple in my young life in southern New England. It's sad to think that less than 400 are still in operation. $8 for two movies (The night we went it was Up and Star Trek, bonus for being two movies we had not seen). The experience is like no other. You can chat if you want, snuggle up or get up and walk around outside without missing a second of the film or bothering others. If you are looking for something to do after 8PM on the Cape I really recommend going to the Drive In. Cash only to get in but the snack bar takes cards.

I have so many happy memories of seeing movies at this drive-in... Crying when Rose let go of Jack in Titanic, singing along to The Jungle Book as a wee one, and laughing my ass off at Stuck On You. Seeing movies at the drive-in is more fun than in a theater because you get to experience something special and comfortable and new all at once. Wellfleet Drive-In totally does it for me. Prices are cheap, and while the facility itself isn't in fabulous condition, it's nostalgic and quirky and all kinds of fun. The Flea Market is insane. Insane. Want an old Barbie or a crate of antique beer cans? This is the place. They have antique Cape Cod glass from time to time and if you're really lucky, you'll see the lady with the Shaker furniture, but most of the time I just want to avoid this place. If you're a picker or a fool for the old-school, you will sincerely love this place.

Hooray for drive ins!!! I used to go to these all the time growing up, and lucky for us, Matt J. finally got to have his first drive in movie experience ever at this very drive in!!! Yay!! It is definitely old school and a bit retro which I love. In case you like mini golfing before the movie, they have that here too! You get a double feature just like when I was kid for super cheap! I don't know how they can afford to do that still--well maybe it is because their snacks in their retro snack bar are definitely on the pricey side, so I suggest bringing your own and bringing your own wine or beer in the car too! They definitely don't check here, and there is nothing quite like a little double feature with a little popcorn and wine I say. But seriously, remember that old school "Let's go out to the kitchen and grab ourselves a snack" cartoon? When you walk into this snack spot at this theater you will think you are living in that cartoon which is just plain awesome. The freedom of listening to the speakers outside or turning on the movie in your car is just pure movie bliss. I only wish they had one of these places in Boston.

Looking for a unique event with the family? This is it! I packed up 3 10-yr old boys and 1 4-yr old for a kids' double feature. Here's our recipe for success: - 1 blanket to spread out on the pavement next to the car - 1 sleeping bag and pillow for each kid - 1 beach chair for each adult - 1 boom-box with a set of spare batteries - 1 cooler, filled with 8 oz. sodas and Capri Suns - 1 food bag, filled with pre-popped microwave popcorn and store-bought candy to share - 1 box glow sticks - 1 sweatshirt and/or blanket to wrap in per person. It gets quite chilly there! After setting up "camp," the kids were off to play at the playground. Once the movies started, they were in their sleeping bags and passing around the popcorn. We broke out the glow sticks as a "flag" for our camp, so the kids could easily find us after visiting the restrooms. Plus, they had a great time playing with them. A great bang for the buck! Our entrance fee was $28, and there was 4-5 hours of entertainment. Recommended!!

Why the Wellfleet Drive-In Theater is such a sweet summer deal. 1. Its 8.25/person and you get to see 2 blockbuster hits instead of 1. Cash only if you pay at the drive in window, but I believe if you go into the actual cinema, you can purchase by credit card.(but don't quote me on that) 2. You can so easily sneak food/drinks in. Bring a picnic! Of course, if you are going to consume alcoholic beverages, I recommend a solo cup great way to consume large amounts of popcorn for a cheaper price 3. They offer concession items and prices are not that bad. They even serve tea and coffee if you are feeling sleepy, remember you got to stay awake for 2! 4. You don't have to arrive super early to get a good spot, there's plenty of sweet spaces within a half hour or starting time. 5. it's a great excuse to make a weekend to the cape! The gripes 1. the annoying cars with hatchback trunk doors that go super high up and the morn doesn't bring rope to at least adjust the high, hence blocking someone's view behind them. 2. People who turn their headlights and leave them on for longer than a minute, if you need to turn you car on, do it quick, so we don't even notice. 3. Kids running around before start time, this could leave to dangerous situations when cars are coming in. As long as they obey the 10MPH speed limit, they will be ok. 4. The bathrooms are long during the half hour intermission before the next movie, ugh, ladies room especially! 5. While sitting through 2 movies is awesome, it sure get cramped up in the car.

This is a great flea market! The back is more vintage/collectable stuff and the front has the basic tube socks, 'off the truck' purses and sunglasses etc. The new stuff is crap I hate at a flea market, but it somehow doesn't suck as much here. The vintage stuff is typically great, good selection, prices, array of stuff from many different decades. The vendors are all really nice. They have a bathroom and good snack stand too.

I have been a patron of this drive-in for years and very glad to see they are still around. This is one of the best, well maintained drive-ins remaining. Warm summer nights you bring your chairs and plant them in front of your car along with a cooler with your mixed drink disguised in a water bottle.HeeHee. The food is traditional drive-in food. Burgers, Hot Dogs, Popcorn, Pizza, Soda et cetera. The food stand is clean and orderly with food prices ranging from $2.00 to $7 depending on your order. One thing you should bring along with you when visiting the drive-in is a sheet to cover your legs. On some nights during the summer it can get a little buggy and the light sheet is great to cover your legs from the nagging critters that bite in the night.

As a few others have said, there is two very separate parts of this place, but I'm going to go ahead and give it one review total. First the flea market. I've never been much of a flea market goer, but it was an enjoyable enough experience. My lady found some make up that seemed to be genuine MAC, and I wandered around trying to not become too sun burnt. Plenty of interesting little things, from cool vintage belt buckles to weird expensive rugs. Bring cash, although there are a few vendors that can take plastic. Now let me get to the part that really makes me like this little place, the drive in! This was my first experience at one, and I hope it isn't my last. I went with Kelly, and my cousin Emmy, and the feature was Smurfs and the Zookeeper. I didn't even care about either movie, and just wanted the experience, and I wish I could watch almost every movie in a drive in. You can talk as much as you wish, you can bring a nice box of wine, and you can turn down the volume if it is a stupid loud action scene! They have a little FM transmitter so you can just tune in your radio and listen to your hearts desire. Some families set up mattress in the back of their SUVs and other set up lawn chairs. We set up lawn chairs for a bit, but it was a bit buggy, and the stings weren't worth the time. The layout is cool too, because each little spot sort of has an incline on it so the view from in side a car is even better. A great destination on the Cape, and a wonderful movie experience.
