Brave the elements in style with the best hiking gear - SilverKris

"This newly opened one-day bush walk, located just over 150 km south of Perth, showcases Western Australia’s wilderness from native eucalypt forests to distinctive granite outcrops that act as micro-habitats and seasonal refuges. The route provides opportunities to encounter native fauna such as the western ringtail possum, quokka and cockatoo while traversing varied bushland scenery." - SilverKris

Fabulous area! Was camping at Potters Gorge the weekend and definitely recommend it. You book it through the the Department of Nathounal parks and they cost you no more than $20 per night! Definitely recommend it coming here even if you're stopping at Collie for a night.

Wellington National Park in Western Australia is a beautiful retreat featuring lush forests and scenic trails. The park's highlight is Wellington Dam, known for its impressive mural and picturesque surroundings. Ideal for hiking, kayaking, and picnicking, it's a perfect destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.

An amazing spot, with incredible views and trails through the bush. Lots of wildflowers to be seen during spring! Would love to spend some time camping here, to have the time to explore all that is available! Nice amenities, including a cafe near the mural lookout.

Fantastic park. Great camping facilities at Potters Gorge campsite. Short distance to Wellington Dam newly completed Mural. Walk/Bike trail from Potter Gorge campsite or drive to the Kiosk area above dam. Well worth the visit to check this amazing piece of art work

10/10 spot for a good weekend of chilling by the fire. Shy 2 hours south of Perth so you get a decent drive to the location and some decent tracks in. Heaps of spots to camp so there is little to no chance of other people setting up camp on your veiw. Water is clear and safe to swim, maybe even a fish or two. Couple of yabbies and plenty of stars to look at night. Never had a problem with trash left or young blokes running a muck so that's always a plus. Just stop looking at the photos and come enjoy this veiw for yourself 🤙

Beautiful views! The artwork is so impressive from above. Kiosk has great coffee and food, very helpful owner. Potters gorge campsite near by is ran by them too. Abseiling is available which we will return for!
