Wellington TOP 10 Holiday Park

Stayed in the 2-bed self contained unit for a night. Interior is very practical with all the wall hooks and power sockets at the right places. Actual space feels bigger than how it looks on pictures. We were greeted by 2 friendly ducks sitting quietly on the balcony the next morning while we cooked breakfast. Nice to connect with wildlife and nature while in the capital.

I stay for a few days every year in June and this park is always well run, everything is clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and will go out of their way to help. I find it good value for money. Bunk type beds may not be to everyone's taste.

noisy site. Lots of construction workers staying in the cabins and leaving really early in big trucks with reverse beepers... from 5.30 onwards. We were going to stay here for a few days but the 1st night was so restless that we ended up staying at another site up the valley which was much quieter and a nicer experience.

OK place, was tidy and grounds were nice. Showers were clean and we did laundry here - all was good. Location was noisy though with car racing traffic - surprising given the more out of the way location. Was fine for one night before we caught the ferry to south island.

Loved my stay at Wellington Top Ten Wonderful staff Clean amenities, well maintained , friendly staff||All the Mod-cons Clean Kitchen . Laundry , Showers. Short walk down to the Bus stop to ride into the City Or Lower Hutt. Regular services, The Top Ten site is great & is a good place to relax for a few days take in the sites

I would highly recommend staying here. My son and I came down from New Plymouth in my motorhome to have a look at Massey University. Easy to find. Great location. Staff outstanding. Thoroughly enjoyed. Will stay again.

I have stayed here a few times but the last time we had items stolen off our MTB bikes under security cameras. Unfortunately after talking to staff they never bothered to get back to me , told me that they would check footage and get straight back to me , that was April , still waiting . So don’t leave anything in sight for thief’s to steal, I blame myself but would have been nice to have had a follow up .

Great service and spotless rooms. Our room unfortunately was very noisy till past midnight as we were right next to the kitchen so we battled to sleep. However the rooms are great and very comfy. Top service at reception. We will definitely go back but will ask for a different cabin 😁. We struggled to get to the park due to our GPS and Google maps taking us to an industrial site due to road changes?

Disappointing - lazy staff unable to use their initiative! Despite 2 bookings made weeks ago the staff were unable to process two campervans next to each other, apparently there were heaps of people with the same surname so they didn't know who was who! REALLY!! Our surname is not that common. Nice sites with loads of empty spaces which were never filled so would not have been a problem! Showers and toilet blocks left a lot to be desired! We then asked if they could order us a taxi into town, unbeknown to us the receptionist called a friend who arrived with a van - took a long time charged twice as much as the taxi we used for the way back (and quite possible was not insured for taxi passengers) A disgrace!

What a joke! $50 for a non-power tent site and the amenities are almost non-existent. Yes, they have a coin-operated laundry and a playground for the kids but the kitchen has NOTHING in it. When I asked why there were no plates or cutlery they said people took things so they no longer outfitted the kitchen. The campground is a complete ripoff in an industrial part of town. The camping options are scarce in Wellington to be sure, but steer clear of "top 10 holiday park." It's an expensive joke.
