Wellington TOP 10 Holiday Park

I stay for a few days every year in June and this park is always well run, everything is clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and will go out of their way to help. I find it good value for money. Bunk type beds may not be to everyone's taste.

We stayed here as I was participating in a sporting event the following day just a few minutes down the road. This meant the location was perfect for us. The camp was tidy and generally quiet during our stay. The bathroom facilities were modern, well cared for and the shower units were incredibly generously sized. We also got the chance to feed some wild pukeko in the morning before leaving. All in all, this camp was a pleasant surprise.

I would highly recommend staying here. My son and I came down from New Plymouth in my motorhome to have a look at Massey University. Easy to find. Great location. Staff outstanding. Thoroughly enjoyed. Will stay again.

OK place, was tidy and grounds were nice. Showers were clean and we did laundry here - all was good. Location was noisy though with car racing traffic - surprising given the more out of the way location. Was fine for one night before we caught the ferry to south island.

Great service and spotless rooms. Our room unfortunately was very noisy till past midnight as we were right next to the kitchen so we battled to sleep. However the rooms are great and very comfy. Top service at reception. We will definitely go back but will ask for a different cabin 😁. We struggled to get to the park due to our GPS and Google maps taking us to an industrial site due to road changes?

Loved my stay at Wellington Top Ten Wonderful staff Clean amenities, well maintained , friendly staff||All the Mod-cons Clean Kitchen . Laundry , Showers. Short walk down to the Bus stop to ride into the City Or Lower Hutt. Regular services, The Top Ten site is great & is a good place to relax for a few days take in the sites

Unfortunately, I didn't get the young lady's name at the front desk. She was very friendly and gave the impression that nothing was a bother. It was so refreshing to have such great customer service.

Very friendly staff. Amended the booking twice, and the staff were very friendly and patient. Superb amenities. Andrea and two other staff members were very efficient. Facilities very 5 Star. Clean, Hygienic, and modern. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

Disappointing - lazy staff unable to use their initiative! Despite 2 bookings made weeks ago the staff were unable to process two campervans next to each other, apparently there were heaps of people with the same surname so they didn't know who was who! REALLY!! Our surname is not that common. Nice sites with loads of empty spaces which were never filled so would not have been a problem! Showers and toilet blocks left a lot to be desired! We then asked if they could order us a taxi into town, unbeknown to us the receptionist called a friend who arrived with a van - took a long time charged twice as much as the taxi we used for the way back (and quite possible was not insured for taxi passengers) A disgrace!

What a joke! $50 for a non-power tent site and the amenities are almost non-existent. Yes, they have a coin-operated laundry and a playground for the kids but the kitchen has NOTHING in it. When I asked why there were no plates or cutlery they said people took things so they no longer outfitted the kitchen. The campground is a complete ripoff in an industrial part of town. The camping options are scarce in Wellington to be sure, but steer clear of "top 10 holiday park." It's an expensive joke.
