This place is enormous. So big I half expected a shuttle service or at least a sign saying “You are now leaving the park.” Immaculately maintained though — very tidy, very proper, very good show.
The dump station is a thing of beauty. Efficient, clean, and deeply satisfying. I left feeling emotionally lighter. Don’t ask.
We slept brilliantly. Proper, uninterrupted, Wife-approved sleep. The kind where you wake up refreshed and slightly suspicious.
The kitchen is… minimalist. Lovely room, plenty of space, and absolutely no equipment. It’s less “communal kitchen” and more “conceptual art installation titled Cooking Is a State of Mind.”
The laundry works fine but is the least clean we’ve seen in all of NZ. Not awful — just… lived in. Like it’s seen things. Prob best not to ask what.
All in all: cracking campsite, great vibes, top-tier dumping, excellent sleep. Bring your own kitchenware and lower your laundry expectations.
Would stay again.
