Wellness hotel Sotelia

Nice, clean hotel in a very quiet location near the forest. Very good food also. Using the lift you can go to the "basement" level where tunnels connect you to all the other facilities. A bit on the expensive side though.

This is our second year staying at Hotel Sotelia and once again – everything was perfect! The staff is extremely kind and professional, the rooms are modern, comfortable and impeccably clean. Wellness, pools, saunas – all top-notch, a true oasis of relaxation. The food is varied, fresh, and delicious. Every detail is thoughtfully executed. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be back!

First of all, there is free parking at hotel, but that is tricky. Free parking spot is around 200m away from the hotel. There is a more convenient parking, with access to the hotel and that one is not free. Second, sound isolation is not so good. Some people are speaking loudly after midnight (we couldn't understand which room), but we hear it like next to us. So, first night was not very comfortable. But when we shared this situation with the hotel personnel, they solved it immediately. There was no sound in the coming days. Food is really good. Many healthy choices. Everything seems clean. Room is comfortable and tidy, but not large. If you come with a child, can be tight. Swimming pools and spa facilities are really good. Many options. Thermal water. All well-maintained and clean. Even it was the peak time (Easter holiday) and hotel was full, we did not have any issues as the crowd was well distributed in many facilities. In general a good hotel. People are friendly and they are all very professional.

Very nice location, surrounded by mountains and with hiking and biking trails and few other attractions nearby. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom is not at the level of price, categorization and image for which the hotel presents itself. Although it is spa center, radiator for drying swimming clothes in the bathroom did not work and when we complained, we were told that it depends on outside temperature (at that time it was from 10 to max 20 degrees celsius). When we entered the bathroom it smelled "strange". Also, probably because of the large crowd in hotel and in order to divide guest into two groups, the receptionist, despite the fact that we were with a small child, tried to deceive us present us with only one time option for breakfast and dinner (until 8am and until 7:45 pm). Of course, he did not present us with other option even after my wife was openly surprised regarding times for breakfast and dinner but later we concluded it ourselves and transferred to another group. Anyway not the service that you would expect.

We made a long break since we visited hotel last time but everything is perfect still, honestly the buffet is better. Cleanliness also hospitality are great.The hotel is well position so you could reach it directly from Croatia avoiding toll charges.

An incredible weekend here with the wife. Restful in every way imaginable. The nature outside was magical, and the interior was amazing with lots to do. The food was delicious and the staff was very nice. We loved our stay and will deffinitively be back

I loved this place, theres so muči to do, I barem saw my wife for days. The staff was really pleasant and exhuding relaxation. Theres great food ,amazing views ,all in all its a full rejting experience. There is noćne i wont reccomnd this to for sure

Pros: Hotel is holding up well considering it was built in 2009. Staff is great. Breakfast and dinner are great. Cons: Very small bed in a room, rather small room, fresh fruit delivered daily is basically few pieces of same fruit which was underwhelming, cost for a pet is 25€ even though no damage was done. Price to quality ratio is not good.
