Wells-next-the-Sea Beach Cafe

Popped in on our way to the beach. Was going to get take away coffees, but they allowed dogs inside, so ended sitting in and ordering coffee and sausage subs. The people that work there are really lovely and it was so nice there was a fire. There is also plenty of seating outside, a small Joules shop and some toilets in the close vicinity. Would 100% recommend a visit.

Good choice of beverages, both cold and hot. There are also some snacks and ice cream available, unfortunately cakes are packed and processed rather than fresh. Didn't try any food, just stopped for hot drinks. Coffee was very average, hot chocolate more sugar shot made from powder. Quite pricy I would say... On the positive side, there are plenty of tables, both inside and outside. It's very cosy inside and there's very nice decor. The staff were absolutely friendly and helpful. And it's dog friendly place which is always a plus.

Large and modern cafe next to the Wells beach parking area, with easy access to the beach and to the walks down the coast. Busy but friendly and efficient. Decent selection of cafe style fare, and reasonable prices given the location and convenience.

Nice enough cafe at the beautiful Wells beach. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Popular place on a Sunday. Odd though that although they advertised they could do alternative milks to dairy when I asked for an oat milk hot chocolate they couldn’t do one as the hot choc came from a machine loaded with dairy powder. That said our drinks were fine.

Very nice cafe with huge car park and the best beach in the UK! Even a Joules shop 🤷‍♂️ Great range of naughty treats from cakes to savouries. I deduct a star on grounds of car park (although today I cycled) and cafe pricing (my selection in photo £6.70) which is simply on the limit ☹️. Great indoor and outdoor seating and cater for our four legged friends too 🐶 Pricing doesn’t get any better - today whilst the people are charming, two coffees, a flapjack and two puppacinos for the dogs, little change from £15! Think liberties are being taken…….deducting another star!! Back again - nice renovation so gained a star!

Village is lovely with some good shops and cafes, the carpark down for the beach has ample parking, with a dog walk area and nature reserve.. Good cafe serving good food and drinks. The beach is great for long walks when the tide is out..

Brilliant place And I'm sure it's super popular in the warmer months We went during the off season and yet it was still a great location it provides a great rest spot after a long walk to both man and beast Shame it wasn't a better day for it I would have loved to have had more time to enjoy this location To those like us who aren't scared by the weather or a longer walk I highly recommend a trip here

We had hot dog with two sausages for the roll and onions which were curry flavour. 1 sausage roll, and a pasty. Also a ghost ship light beer and a coke - the coke was memorable at £2.50 for 1 can ! The staff were friendly and helpful, most customers were sitting outside the cafe but were chatty and friendly. It was a welcome experience after a couple of hours on the fab beach.
