Lovely restaurant in the heart of the city. The food was absolutely delicious, with well balanced flavors and great attention to detail. The girl who served us was incredibly kind, attentive, and highly professional, she made us feel welcome from the start and gave us excellent recommendations that truly elevated our experience. A delightful evening I’d love to repeat

Perfect place to grab an authentic German meal to accompany a local brew crafted by monks. Absolutely delicious with English and local menus. A must when visiting Regensburg, a true hidden gem of a town.

Delicious Bavarian food and good beer. I had ox meat with puree and helles beer. Pilsner with bottle was also great. Definitely worth to visit!

I was here for dinner with my colleagues. We didn't have any reservations and still got seats for 4 on a Thursday night. The restaurant was big and looked like a typical Bavarian style which is well preserved. I had their classic asam bockbeer schnitzel. The schnitzel was delicious with the beer sauce and on top of that the fried onion took the whole thing to another level. I had asam bockbeer which was delicious with a little sweet touch. Because of the taste I couldn't try any other beer from there. The service was great. Public parking is available next to the restaurant.

First time tried some Bavarian food and the taste was awesome. All the dishes look so interesting and a must try restaurant in Regensburg if you want to have authentic Bavarian food.

We would go out of our way to visit Regensburg, just to eat at Weltenburger am Dom again and try more of the beers. Photos show Schweinshaxe, Schnitzel and some of the range of beers. I particularly recommend the Anno 1050.

Absolutely delicious Bockbier Schnitzel. Big enough to feed 2 adults! You can make reservations in advance through their website.

Google
Best Schnitzel of my entire life, and I’m not even kidding! In one week that I was staying in Regensburg I went there 3 times! It became like a gastronomic guilty addiction. Every dish was amazing and we’ve got to even have a great German smiley waitress! Cannot recommend this restaurant enough

Yelp
For an authentic Bavarian meal in Regensberg, I recommend the Weltenburger am Dom. We made a reservation for our group (which included three toddlers and a baby) for a noon meal on a Sunday. The table was ready when we arrived, our drinks were served shortly after we placed our order. When the food began arriving the children's meals came first which really helped settle them down. I ordered Schweinebraten (Bavarian style pork roast). The meat was succulent and tender. It was topped with a crispy piece of fried pork-belly. A gigantic potato dumpling and a dollop of sauerkraut completed the plate. A nice dark bock beer from the Weltenburger brewery was a perfect pairing with the entree. The others in our group were well satisfied with their choices as well. Conveniently located near the cathedral and a short walk from the train station on Bahnhofstraße or the cruise ship docks on the Danube, if you are looking for a good German dining experience, the Weltenburger am Dom would be an excellent choice,

Yelp
Our first traditional German mean. Everything was good, no dissatisfaction with any of the dishes. Friendly service.

Yelp
The food was great here in this beautiful and immersive Bavarian restaurant. And the service was nice, we enjoyed it very much. I got orange lemonade and the classic pork bierbockschnitzel which came with fried onions and fried potato slices, with sauce on the side. It was so good! The mustard in the schnitzel crust made it so delicious and special. Eating Bavarian foods in Germany was a great experience. We also tried radler and käsespaetzle. Delicious

Yelp
I'm originally from Bavaria and have lived in Regensburg for four years but wanted to give you all an English review to promote this place to tourists. This is by far the best Bavarian restaurant you will find in Regensburg. I've had pretty much everything on the menu and every single dish is very traditional and amazing. If you're in town for a limited amount of time: this is your place. In the summer, there is a lovely biergarten but you'll likely have to call them in advance and make a reservation if it's during the most popular hours. In the winter, they open all of their rooms inside and just sitting there brings you right to the center of Bavaria. This is the first place I go to whenever I'm back in Germany. I'm not sure if all of their staff speaks English but I'm sure there is at least one person that will understand you. My favorite is the Schwabenpfandl. Check it out, this is a spot full of locals and one of the best places to watch soccer championships during the summer.

Yelp
We came here for lunch and enjoyed their Biergarten. They had amazing pork sausages that you must try!! The salad had a ton of dressing and it was a bit strange to see a taco type salad at a German restaurant. The weltenburger bockbierschnitzel was so tasty and the pork batter was amazing. Overall, a great option for lunch in Regensburg.

Yelp
Great beer. The original Helles (Munich Style light lager) is spot on to my taste. Had the Bockbierschnitzel (pork cutlet with Bock beer sauce) that was awesomeness on a plate. Cool old world German surroundings. What's not to love?

Yelp
Where do I start... After researching where to have an authentic vibe in Regensburg we selected this pub given the reviews. Upon arrival we were seated inside where it was cooler than sitting outside bistro style. Our drink order was taken after sitting 10 mins and drinks placed in front of us after another 15 minutes. Viewing the menu intently our table was excited to order. After waiting another 25 min our waiter never returned to take our order. We witnessed the bar tender and waiter arguing intensely, we could not get our waiter's attention for our order to be taken. Walking out we noticed others that arrived after we were seated with drinks and dinner plates. When I acknowledged our displeasure no apology was given. We paid for our drinks and left. Poor service, bad server attitude! Walked around the corner to a Thai restaurant where we had a fabulous dinner.

Yelp
I am not fun of German food. But I said ok I will try tonight. The food was terrific good. Worth to try, the price is ok, moderately. Service good and friendly staff. I will defently go next time again.

Yelp
Probably one of my favorite meals on our 2.5 week trip to Europe. Disclaimer: I hope you are hungry. Had the pork medallion with mushroom cream sauce, with cheese spetzl and fried onions. It. Was. Awesome. My wife had the crispy pork belly stuffed with sauerkraut and potato dumpling wedges. Hers was good, although she realized that pork belly skin is not her favorite due to the somewhat chewy under layer of fat. The service was friendly. They had an English menu and it wasn't busy so we didn't have to wait.

Yelp
We had great Wiener Schnitzel and spaetzle. Weißwürste was ok. Nice atmosphere and service.

Yelp
The food was good and the waitress very friendly. They had an English menu which was much appreciated by a couple really struggling with the language. My husband ordered the steak (Zwiebelrostbraten) and I got a dish very similar to Mac and cheese (Kaasspatz´n) along with several beers. The biergarten was an outdoor patio that was very relaxing and the location was very close to the river. Will definitely recommend!
