"Placencia’s best sit-down local restaurant is located smack in the heart of the village. Wendy's isa favorite with locals for itshearty breakfast—fried eggs with refried beans and tortillas—before work or beforeheading out on a sun-and-sea excursion. The restaurant is also a solid choice for lunch and dinner, and is reasonably priced for the wide variety of dishes it offers, like quesadillas, sandwiches, burgers, pastas, beans and rice, and seafood. The walls are covered with local art, andthe spacious veranda offers views of the comings and goings along the village’s main road. Wendy’s rarely closes and seldom disappoints, in food or in service."
Last night in Placencia and went out with a bang! Stopped into Wendy’s and it was a home run! Had a whole fish and steak. Both were cooked perfectly. All the food was delicious and the service was outstanding! Very nice seating areas both inside and outside. The bar looked nice, but I’m not a drinker, so didn’t get that experience. Definitely one of the better restaurants in Placencia. I highly recommend this spot if you’re in or near Placencia.

Excellent fresh fish and Belizean classic dishes. Check the specials of the day or when in doubt get the jerk fish. Loved the coconut rice.

My first time having creole in Belize, and it may be my new favorite! The fish creole, coconut rice, and side salad with peppercorn dressing was excellent. Spicey, but not too hot, it was perfect.

We went there for breakfast and the food was delicious, the service was phenomenal and the people watching was priceless.
I had the Belize breakfast with fried Jack and loved every bite of it.
I showed up before they opened and they still served me. Will definitely go again

Wonderful fry jack here! The Best stew chicken in town , great service . Indoor and outdoor seating with a nice breeze and up close view of the village. You must eat here at least once while in Placencia village. R.L.

Overall I had a great dining experience at Wendy’s! The crispy Caribbean conch steak, potatoes, salad and milkshake were all tasty. I only wish the pineapple sauce was more of a sauce instead of a pico topping. Wendy’s was relaxed and service was quick and friendly. :)

Wonderful setting - we had a hot rainy day and enjoyed ourselves on the deck while drinking great coffee and enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Staff were generous and helpful. If you are in Placencia you must stop in!
