Took my nephew, who is autistic and absolutely loves the greyhounds. Arriving, we were met with a barrage of abuse from protesters screaming as we walked past. Had pre-purchased tickets, but upon scanning, only one was verified; the others came up as already being used. It was mortifying to say the least. The woman who scanned them looked at us accusingly as if it was our fault. We were put aside while she spoke with someone. She then came back and reluctantly let us through.
Would I attend again? No. It was a giant booze fest, alcohol coming in first after the races.
Overpriced food, with no taste, and a waste of time.
The only positive was the greyhound adoption tent. Lovely group of people promoting the adoption of greyhounds.
