Werkstatt: Where the vibe is industrial, the drinks are artisanal, and the coolness is dangerously contagious.
Walked into Werkstatt expecting a hipster art garage and left wondering if I should quit my job to become a DJ-slash-cocktail-critic. This place has ambience with a capital A and possibly a minor in architecture and underground culture.
I ordered a whisky sour, and honestly, it was so smooth it probably pays taxes early. Perfect balance of sour and sweet, with just enough kick to make me consider texting my ex “for closure.” The bartender? A cocktail wizard in a beanie. I didn’t catch their name, but I’d trust them with my Spotify algorithm and maybe even my house keys.
Live music, creative crowd, and enough retro-industrial charm to make you question why you ever liked clean white walls.
No table service, but that’s part of the Werkstatt workout you have to ear your drink. It’s like CrossFit, but instead of a six-pack, you get... a six-pack.
Jokes aside! Highly recommend if you like great drinks, live culture, and pretending you're cooler than you actually are.
