The Best Turks and Caicos Resorts

"Part of the Grace Bay Resorts collection, this property delivers a serene, home-like atmosphere along a picture-perfect beach with roomy suites that stand out for extended stays and families. While a 300-square-foot studio is available, the suites and luxury suites are significantly more comfortable and include full kitchens and oceanfront terraces. Some rooms and common areas may be wheelchair-accessible (call ahead); rates start from $360 per night." - Lydia Mansel Lydia Mansel Lydia Mansel is a writer with more than eight years of experience editing and writing for both brands and online publications—with a particular focus on travel, fashion, and lifestyle. West Bay Club – Hotel Review | Condé Nast Traveler

"You can't go wrong with this all-suite (all of them oceanfront) paradise. The family-friendly property sits on a vast and quiet stretch of Grace Bay Beach in Turks and Caicos, at a safe remove from the swarms of vacationers in the resort district. It offers a Kids' Club, one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom suites (all equipped with creature comforts like kitchens, washers, and dryers) and a spa. Throw back a cold one at the resort's beach bar before you depart on an excursion, orchestrated by one of the resort's handy concierges: whether you want the best snorkeling in in the country, a day on the green, or the scoop on where to find the best souvenirs for even your pickiest relative, they'll sort it out for you."

Wonderful stay in a 1 bedroom suite for 4 nights. The room was nicely decorated, clean with beautiful views of both the pool area & the ocean. Best part though was the staff - Irene at the beach bar made the best pina colada & greeted us every day with warmth & genuine kindness. Justin & Chris also worked hard getting our party of 10 together on the beach. They made us feel at home every time we saw them. The staff during breakfast were also very helpful. We look forward to retuning to bask in the amazing turquoise ocean & see the friendly faces who made our first time at Turks & Cacois so memorable.

We just spent a week at the West Bay Club in Turks and Caicos. 5 stars all around! The hotel was immaculate, the beach was pristine and the staff was so professional and caring! While there we ate dinner at Two West on several nights. The food was fantastic! My wife and I are both fish lovers so we had Conch, Salmon, Red Snapper, Lobster, Crab Cake among other things. Our daughter had Pastas, Chicken and fries and different pizzas. Everything was so delicious! The only thing that wasn’t to our liking was the dessert of New York Cheesecake. The cake did not have the flavor or texture profile we are used to. Maybe the fact that we are from NY we were a little biased? The manager was very nice and did not charge us and additionally brought out chocolate ice cream on the house! Our entire visit was relaxing, fun, we were treated so well, I highly recommend!

Great location, beautiful beach, great breakfast, and very good food. The chef is very talented. ||Our room...the bed had a huge dip in the middle. The room had 3 blinds that never touched, so there was a bright light that shined in all night. The TV had a weird purple glow, even when it was off. It could have been a nice room, but it was very hard to get any sleep in there.

Our stay at West Bay club was a 3/5 stars for the following reasons: Cons: 1.No security at gate 2.Staff wasn’t good at greeting us except for arrival and breakfast 3.Staff was always on their phones 4.Other than laying our towel on beach/pool chair no one came by to ask if we needed anything or wanted a drink or food from beach bar/grill. 5.Poor snorkeling equipment (so bring your own unless you want to be extremely disappointed). 6.No room upgrade despite asking given they were only at about 25-35% capacity. (I’ll mention the importance of this down below) 7. We never ate lunch or dinner at the club so I cant speak to that however we did try dessert which was extremely expensive compared to much higher quality next door (Paid $15 for 1 scoop of ice cream, I’ll explain this further down below too). Pros: 1.Complementary non insulated water bottles and hotel bag (Wymara’s was WAY NICER from what we saw and didnt smell) 2.Great room maid service 3.Double entry doorway to our room (basically door into a shared foyer with another entry into a separate room to left and one to right) 4.On the Beach which also has a shower rinse off station 5.Nice soaking pool (5ft deep give or take) 6.Delicious complimentary breakfast (Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potato wedges, pancakes/French toast, grits, fruit, baked goods, and breads of all kinds). If you’re reading this and wondering a couple things mentioned above I would like to go into detail a little further. Upon planning our vacation, we were between West Bay Club and Wymara right next door (which you can walk to from the beach <2min walk). I mention this because we wish we chose Wymara!! Wymara is a 5 star resort and West Bay Club is considered 4 stars which we like to disagree as it felt 3 star. Wymara’s Pros: 1.Gated access 2.Friendly staff who constantly greeted us even though we weren’t their guests we were able to use their amenities: (x3 restaurants: Indigo, blue water bistro, and pink bar, plus a small convenience store). 3.No staff was allowed to be on their cell phones! 4.Witnessed staff serving drinks to people on beach and food delivery. 5.So many food options at all places that was delicious and was never disappointed. Food was delicious made by Chef Andrew who owns a few other restaurants at Turks including Land and Sea apparently. (((Ice cream $7))) 6.Met two different couples who booked the basic room at Wymara whose rooms were upgraded without question or being asked due to their low occupancy during hurricane season. 7. Jacuzzi!! Wymara Cons (as an outsider and not an actual guest): 1.No soaking pool just a shallow pool and not very deep but still nice 2.Dishes were expensive $28 for a small pizza, $20 on average for any cocktail except beer which was $8. We paid on average $100 for lunch maybe a bit more for dinner at the Pink Bar which included no appetizers, x2 meals and no alcohol but again ice cream was only $7 here!! This is to be expected and something we were prepared for so maybe not a true con I presonally would 100% say pay a little extra $ to stay at Wymara knowing your service is top notch, your room could get upgraded to a beauty, food is delicious and staff care about your happiness versus staying at the West Bay Club who honestly didn’t seem to give a damn about what you thought or going above and beyond to make your experience memorable. To be honest, they could learn a lot about how Wymara runs things and maybe just maybe their customers would 100% want to return. In addition, we did x3 excursions all with ISLAND ADVENTURES (highly recommend them) booked them all through Trip Advisor 5 stars. Recommend tours were: (mangrove kayak, half day shipwreck tour adults only). Recommend reservations at Marine Room, you’ll spend around $250 tip included for x2 adults which included dinner, dessert, and x2 alcoholic drinks (both had the filet with peppercorn sauce it was delicious as well as the best expresso martini we’ve ever had and we’ve tried A LOT!). Since both hotels are right next to each other, both had great sunsets!

From the moment we walked into West Bay Club and were warmly greeted by Giovanni we felt the stress melt away as we sipped our complimentary rum punch! I was so pleased with the Grace Bay resorts service and property from|The beginning. |The Good: |The property is beautifully landscaped with quiet little nooks to relax and rejuvenate. Every part of it was clean and well taken care of. I never saw a mess of towels or unkept pool or beach chairs or any trash as everything was promptly cleaned. The pool and beach attendants do a phenomenal job. |The room (201) we received was super clean, beautifully decorated and had a lovely view of the ocean to wake up to. The room had every convenience and amenity we needed. Full service kitchen, with all major appliances and washer dryer included. |Bathrooms large and well appointed. Luxury L’Occitane bath products. Bath robes provided. There was also a safe. Water pressure was excellent and so was the AC which you can control. Housekeeping everyday. |We were very touched by the welcome note for our anniversary and wonderful souvenir water bottles ( that can be filled with cold water on the property) and the beach bag per room which we were all fighting over. The little details go a long way in being made to feel welcome. There were always 4 complimentary still water cans in the fridge as well to be had. |We were so comfortable in the plush beds which were nicely made up with high quality bedding. |This room was very convenient to the parking lot , pool, beach and breakfast all within minutes away. |The hearty morning breakfast is plentiful with eggs made to order, cold and hot items, fresh made lattes and pastries - we wanted for nothing and this held us over till late lunch. The food was tasty and served in a clean indoor space often monitored by staff refilling and cleaning. I appreciated small lemons being burned in a candle holder contraption. to ward off flies. |The breakfast tables are set up around the trees near the pool which is pretty. |The beach area is just breathtaking and it is definitely quieter than grace bay beach proper but the water is just the same. |Beach attendant Chris is friendly super efficient and has a hard job in the hot sun , managing the beach area very well. |Drinks on the beach were made very well with a good amount of alcohol by a friendly cute Phillipino girl( sorry i didn’t get the name!) there is a beachside cafe for lunch. Pricing is very reasonable and therefore we made use of it more. |The pool is not huge but very pretty with lush trees surrounding and pretty white loungers. It is open till 10 pm - a very generous time. |Parking is gated and very safe with a code to get into. The property felt very safe even at night. |EVERY member of the staff even in passing was polite and courteous and genuinely all asked if we were ok and having a good time, even the housekeeping staff. That shows great customer service training on every level. |There are lifts to the higher levels. |The attention to details and the amazing staff is where West Bay stands out among others. It is an aesthetically pleasing, relaxing quiet hotel that we would love to come back to. It did feel like Luxury. |The location is further away from|The crowds and you feel you have this world famous beach all to yourself at West Bay Club. The Wymara is next door and honestly the feel of WBC is much better, but visiting the pink bar or having meals there is an option. |There are complimentary bikes and non motorized beach equipment. ||The mediocre ( nitpicking here!)|The property could do with more lighting at night on the path to the beach. |More seating at the lobby area|And perhaps a little bit more mosquito control. |We would like to Thank Giovanni, Roshana, Chris at the beach, pool attendant, and delightful bar girl on the beach for making our stay extra pleasant.

I absolutely loved my stay at the West Bay Club. The facilities are beautiful, the staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help, and the food is excellent. Everything feels clean and well maintained. The beach is simply spectacular - white sand, crystal-clear water, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it hard to leave. That said, I’d strongly suggest the hotel look into the mosquito situation, especially for rooms on the first floor. They tend to get inside, and I spent several nights trying to get rid of them - which made it hard to sleep. The staff was very responsive and even came late at night to assist with dehumidifiers to reduce that “musty” or “closet-like” smell that sometimes appears when humidity builds up. I also noticed that the bed frame, made of a woven wood material, tends to collect dust in small spaces, which may contribute to that same smell even though the rooms are clearly cleaned with care. Overall, despite those small issues, it was a wonderful experience - the service, the food, and especially the beach make West Bay Club a place I’d definitely recommend and return to.

Our stay at West Bay Club was nothing short of unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome, but a special shoutout goes to Lloydeka, who went above and beyond to help us with absolutely everything. She played such an important role in making my proposal perfect and made us feel like part of the family throughout our stay. Every detail was taken care of with warmth and professionalism. The entire staff deserves so much credit, but especially Lloydeka. We’ll definitely be returning to West Bay Club and can’t recommend it highly enough!

The beauty of Grace Bay was breathtaking and our stay at West Bay Club made it extra special. Our trip was one of the most relaxing vacations we’ve ever had. The service was exceptional. The staff was warm, friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. We were impressed by their hospitality, especially Irene, Chris, and Justin. Thank you for the memories made there. We hope to return very soon!
