Really airy, industrial, warehouse-type art exhibition tied to the Centre Pompidou, located right by the Huangpu River as part of a new sprawling arts complex in Shanghai. You can easily walk through the museum within 1.5–2 hours; the selection of artworks is small, but high-quality all around. There’s also a great cafe by the entrance for refreshments before or after your visit.
Unfortunately there’s no gift shop, but there’s a decently-sized store for coffee-table books and more serious art anthologies.
