"This laid-back event takes overVancouver’s bustling West End on Saturdays from late May to late October. Expect the usual array of crafts, artisanal delicacies, sustainable seafood, and local seasonal products like summer’s sweet, fat blueberries. Hungry shoppers should swing by Nidhi’s Cuisine for meat-free samosas and flatbreads, or the Chouchou food truck for authentic Brittany crêpes. Also worth a stop are BC Wine Studio and French Made Baking for macarons . Overlooking Nelson Park and the community gardens, the market takes place on Comox Street between Bute and Thurlow from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Parking is quite limited, but the market is an easy walk from most downtown hotels."
Really enjoyed wandering through this market on Sunday with my friend who lives close by. Flowers, fruit, vegetables, homemade sauces and crafts. Great selection. I came back with a heavy bag. Favourite thing was the Mutsu apples from Klippers.

I love going every Saturday!!, so many great vendors and best quality in all the products, fresh veggies and home made desserts, is so well organized and even though there’s plenty of people, is really easy to walk through.

*****MAY 21 to OCTOBER 29*****
My daughter and I walked through the rain to go to the West End Farmers Market on May 14. Google said it was open at 9 am. We arrived at 9:20 only to find a sign saying the market begins on May 21, the following weekend. I requested a change for this but I am not sure if it will change.
Despite not finding a farmers market, we did find a very relaxing park. There was a very active community garden as well as a well attended off leash dog park. We enjoyed looking through the garden plots and watching the dogs play.
We enjoyed our time and will have to come back when the market is on and the weather is better.

Nice farmer market at Nelson park, with colourful merchandise. Vegetables, fruits, maple, spices and more. The place is crowded so you should put on a face mask. Expensive prices. Highly recommended.

I love going to the farmers market every week. There are so many organic vendors with amazing produce. I’ve purchased flowers here that are gorgeous and pierogies that are gluten-free. The variety of food tracks is nice too. And of course you can’t forget about all the doggos! They are also welcome. 🐕🦮🐕🦺

Come get your fresh organic produce here. Vendors are friendly and ever so helpful. Lots of greens and a smattering of adult beverages as in ciders, beer and spirits.
