A great to hang out after hours or if you just need some air. There is a restaurant up the block. It is amazing. The boat as well on the water also opens during the day. I believe it's a small restaurant on the pier. It's simply amazing and breath taking......enjoy.

West Harlem Piers is one of my favorite spots along the Hudson River, perfect for a relaxing escape, a picnic or a meditation session. Whether you arrive by bike or on foot, you’re greeted by stunning views of the water showing New Jersey and the George Washington Bridge. The park offers a serene spot to pause and think with the calming water adding to the peaceful ambiance. It’s chill and laid-back, though occasionally breezy, but the refreshing air only enhances the experience. The combination of nature, skyline, and water creates a soothing retreat that always leaves me feeling good.

Google
Really nice spot, and a great place to go on a warm and muggy day/ night because the breeze coming off of the cool water is a nice way to chill and relax. Excellent views all around, and while I haven't bothered going to the restaurant on the old navy boat it looks nice enough. I'm not sure if this is the best kind of park for keeping younger kids busy, since I didn't really notice any playgrounds but in terms of getting together with friends and family for a nice picnic etc you really can't go wrong, and just like any of the other parks north of here on the riverside, it's just a nice place to be and a lovely part of the community.

Google
Beautiful. On a sunny day before the afternoon heat, you can walk the pier and collect your thoughts. It definitely has meditative effects. Well recommended to all that appreciate nature.

Google
This is an awesome place to be specially when during the summer because the nice cold breeze from the Hudson river and those sites from New Jersey heart just breath taking so if you want just to go for a jog or just walk around this is a good place to be so totally recommend it

Google
Loved the ambience of being on a boat, everyone was relaxed and chill. The staff was attitude free and quick to assist. The scenery was beautiful and calming. I especially loved the way you order and pay for your food. This really eliminate the bill chatter at the end of the night and the who ate what! Lol

Yelp
Fairly nice park to hang out in on the west side of Harlem. It has some piers that are nice to go on. West Harlem Piers Park has some good views. Also there's festivals. There's a path for jogging and walking. Apparently not many people know about it. It isn't busy all that often. There's a lot of choices for bicycling and walking. It has a paved path along the river that's wide enough. There's a few piers along this path that also are good for walking. It has some good views of across the Hudson River. This area is also pretty safe. In the summer there's festivals. It still doesn't get too crowded even for these gatherings. The best part of the park is enjoying the views.

Yelp
I've been here numerous times, and I always have a great time here! You can walk, sit and enjoy the views. This is a convenient spot because it's near a lot of great restaurants. I always love coming here because it's relaxing and is super scenic.

Yelp
Named after Piers Morgan, unfortunately and bizarrely. In the far Northwest of Manhattan, you'll find the West Harlem Piers, which are absolutely gorgeous and look out towards New Jersey, like the Edgewater and Fort Lee areas. People don't realize this is here, which is one of the great things about it. Running and jogging is welcome here, and spectacular views of both New Jersey and Manhattan abound. Impossible not to love it honestly. No wonder people said it was one of NY's best kept secrets. https://www.yelp.com/biz/captain-t-seafood-houston-2

Yelp
Came here yesterday for the first time and was upset at myself for not coming here sooner! The views and atmosphere are amazing! Lots of space to have a family cookout, go for a nice run/jog, or to get some fresh air by the water. Look forward to coming back here at least once or twice.

Yelp
I am always here! Always! In fact, Don't come here. I love it too much. This pier is an unspoiled quiet hideaway with avid bikers passing through, community events at least twice a week, perfectly manicured greenery & flowers (or maybe thats just the beauty of Springtime), a Fairway across the street & there is no debris! It's very clean place! Park attendants are usually rolling around on go-carts, emptying the recycle bins & making sure the pier is kept safe and fun for everyone. Some people take midday naps or picnic here- it's that peaceful.

Yelp
A great and unexpected place in the area. Great views and atmosphere. This is just as, if not more, relaxing and refreshing as going downtown. You can grab food from the local restaurants, supermarket or bodegas and park yourself for a peaceful time. At the right time in the summer it can almost feel like you're not in Manhattan.... Should mention that finding a bathroom will be your only challenge

Yelp
Spent part of my birthday here last week with a close friend of mine...I already love Harlem as it is but this place just made me love it that much more. Water scenery is one of the most relaxing and chill scenery's that you can take part in, at least in my opinion. The pier by Harlem looking towards Jersey is so relaxing, intimate and romantic at the same time. It was somewhat windy and chilli when we were here but it was still a good day spent. A few hour of just relaxing, laughing and enjoying someone's company while also enjoying a day by the water is probably the best way to spend a few hours of the day. Something so simple can be something so special at the same time.... Come here if you need to kick back, relax and want to spend the day with someone special by the water without all the congestion that you may get at a Central Park, Prospect Park or Highline...

Yelp
This Pier is one of Harlem's best kept secrets! It has a beautiful view of the Hudson. It's ideal for jogging, catching up with friends, and having a picnic. I absolutely love this spot

Yelp
Excellent pier. 1) This is probably one the most beautiful pier in NYC. 2) The pier is well kept, clean and wonderful. 3) I will recommend coming here at night. The views of GWB and Hudson is breathtaking.

Yelp
I have been stopping by this park recently before walking into the Fairway Market across the street. I've also used this park as a starting point on walks up to the Little Red Lighthouse by the George Washington Bridge and into Inwood. This park has two things going for it: 1--It is right on the Hudson River, which leads to 2--The views here are fantastic. You can look across the river to the Palisades in NJ, you can see the George Washington Bridge, and you could look back at Manhattan. There is a great view of the Riverside Church as you look towards the Morningside Heights/Harlem/Columbia University area. The only bad thing I can say about this park is the lack of shade. It is a very new park, and hopefully the young trees will grow. It is a great place to sunbathe. Unfortunately, I get sunburn very easily. They do host events at this park. The last time I was there, there was a Jamaican festival, and reggae music was playing. There are sprinklers in the park, so if you want to bring your kids to cool off a bit, they will have some fun. Basically, it is a very pleasant park by the river and a great place to sit for a bit and enjoy the views.

Yelp
Absolutely GORGEOUS piers on the water with a nice sized park area, sculptures and views. Cherry blossom trees run along it and add the kind of beauty they tend to add, which is astonishing. Come here on a nice day to mingle with neighbors and new friends you have yet to meet! Everyone is sociable (especially if you have the most adorable puppy in the world - so I lucked out!) and if you get hungry there's restaurants and a Fairway Market across the street!

Yelp
Beautiful place to enjoy the river, read a book, sunbath, biking etc.

Yelp
A nice place to sit and watch the sunset over the Hudson.

Yelp
When I go running or biking along the Greenway, this is a great stopping point since there are little patches of grass, water fountains, bike racks and benches. It's also directly adjacent to Fairway, so you can grab a bite and eat it outside while admiring the views of the GW Bridge, the palisades, and um, the Sanitation station. I've been jogging through here for years, and not once have I ever seen any boat, kayak, canoe, whatever, make use of the piers. I have seen, however, dudes fishing and kids getting their kites stuck in the highway overpass. The trees are new and straggly, and the art on display is ponderous. Ratio of concrete to grass: 3:1. :(

Yelp
I played futbol about 4- blocks north of here. I made my way down here to get away to just sit down and relax. Nice views of the Hudson and of lovely Jersey.... There's a nice breeze off of the river so it's ideal when you want to avoid some of the heat. I actually had a textbook with me and my streak of being unable to study outdoors continues...

Yelp
A nice addition/extension to the Riverside Park walk/run/bike paths for us Harlem folk. Never too crowded, and there's an absolutely gorgeous/romantic view of the Hudson and the GWB at night. Also an awesome place to end a first date to set the mood for some smoochin'.

Yelp
Awesome spot right on the Hudson. Always stop by before and after grocery shopping at Fairway. Great to relax with a decent view, even if it is of NJ.

Yelp
Great park overlooking the Hudson. I came here for the first time for the Sweet Spot Festival dance party. It was a beautiful spring day and a lot of people came out for the festival. The park itself has bike lanes and a walkway. Obviously this wasn't how the park looks on a normal everyday basis. If you drive you can park in the fairway parking lot and grab some treats to eat or drink in the park. Also Dinosaur BBQ is right there. If they got a long wait time which they usually do you can relax in the park while you wait for your table.

Yelp
Great place for food and a nice breese.
