West Palm Beach

There is plenty of parking. The place is always clean, the trains run on time. The bus stop has plenty of seating benches and other places to sit. Bike 🚲 ect

West Palm Beach is both a Tri-Rail and Amtrak Stop. It is an old school full service station. This stop has been around for a long long time and historic station has lots of character architecturally on the East side.

Amtrak staff and crew on the 40 and 41 were the best! They were all extremely friendly and helpful. The Club /Café staff were also very friendly and helpful

The first stop on our NYC nerd tour, taking a long train trip worth the story I’ll share shortly. Being our first train trip, we had little knowledge of how many individuals lurked about the station attempting to sleep off the investment from a night of revelry. The smell of human pheromones ranked high amongst the environmental attractions. On to other subjects, trains and nerds have gone together for 100 years. Fun place to read, imagine solving a mystery, or fly along the backroad environments of whatever vale you will travel through. If you go, note two significant points. First, rare to find a good tavern attached to a train station. What you mostly find is low rent 9 and 3/4 platforms. Like if Harry Potter attended a school without out all the amenities, like in a building roughly the size of a house instead of a castle. Second, if you plan on going far spend the extra gold on an upgrade. Your magical studies will improve significantly. One additional note, wizards that run the stations represent some of the kindest I’ve met.

Beautiful cozy little station. Clean and nice. This is also the drop off point for greyhound buses passengers. I liked this nice little station a lot.

I ordered a private room for the included shower. They gave me a sleeper car and a lecture about how standing up for my purchase disrupts their train schedule. I was told there was a shower at the end of the hall, which there was. I got a lecture about using the shower as a shower. They use their shower as a storage closet. Never order a private room and you'll get something worth your money.

Uber was $13.00. And tri Rail $8.75 to Miami.

What's not to love about WPB. So pretty, clean and organized. It's another world, guess because it's still like new. Went via train to visit family. Directly across the station is a government building, a courthouse architect style like DC. Didn't have time to venture out but, enjoyed the immediate, friendly, busy surroundings.
