West Village Rehabilitation & Nursing Center

My mom stayed at West Village Nursing and Rehabilitation for short-term rehab after hip surgery, and I truly cannot say enough good things. The physical therapy team was incredible!!! They were patient, encouraging, and so knowledgeable. Within weeks she was walking again with confidence. The nursing staff always kept me updated and treated her with so much kindness. The facility was clean and welcoming every time I visited. We’re so grateful for the care she received.

My mother stayed at West Village Rehabilitation & Nursing Center from the beginning of January through the end of February. Overall, her experience was very pleasant, thanks to a dedicated group of staff members who truly care about their patients and take pride in their work as healthcare professionals. One important piece of advice I would offer to any family with a loved one in a rehabilitation or nursing facility is to show up, stay involved, and advocate. Being present makes a meaningful difference. I want to extend my sincere gratitude to the staff who helped make my mother’s progress as smooth and comfortable as possible. A very special thank‑you to the exceptional nurses on the 2nd Fl, Paul, Maria, Pierre, and JESSICA (who is no longer with the facility). Your compassion and professionalism were deeply appreciated. I would also like to recognize the wonderful CNAs from the 2nd Fl who consistently went above and beyond: Destiny, Pearl, Mrs. Stone, Felicita, Franc, Khris, and Sheldon. Your patience, kindness, and dedication did not go unnoticed. Thank you as well to Mrs. Nicole, the social worker, for your support and communication throughout my mother’s stay. I also want to acknowledge the physical and occupational therapy team—Phatu and Marykay—who were truly amazing in helping my mother regain strength and confidence. Lastly, I want to give a heartfelt thank‑you to the activities team—Bryan, Brandon, whose energy and engagement brought joy to the residents, and to John, who handles the front desk, for always being welcoming and helpful. If not for you guys im not sure how well the experience may have turned out. I am grateful for the individuals who made a challenging time easier for my mother and our family.

This is an excellent facility. It is very clean, the food is good and above all the staff is superb. The physical and occupational therapist are highly skilled and offer invaluable support in your recovery. It is obvious that many of the staff are very compassionate people and love their work. I was there for two months recovering from my medical condition and I recommend West Village without reservation.

I toured several facilities before choosing West Village for my aunt, and I’m so glad we did. The building is bright and clean, and the staff greeted residents by name. The therapy department is top-notch — they pushed her just enough while still being compassionate. Communication was excellent, and I always felt informed about her progress. Highly recommend for rehab services.

The night Nurse on the 4th floor who watches over my 👩 Mom Josephine in room 418p . She took time out and really listen to me about my concerns and I was able to leave last night and also this evening feeling better knowing that she was looking after my mom. The CNA’s are amazing all of them. I grateful for them and all they do. There’s a young lady named Kimberly admin who is also amazing. It’s difficult to be separated from your loved ones, these ladies make it a lot easier 🙏

My mother was in this facility for three weeks after being hospitalized with the flu. The nurses and aides were very professional and kind to my mother during her stay. It was good to know that she was in good hands at this facility. I would like to name the following employees: Hanna Stephen-physical therapist Caroline Pat-nurse Timothy Shirley-aide Perla-aide James-physical therapist Puja-physical therapist Jazz-aide Rachel-social worker Maria-physical therapist Jean Paul Maria I also want to thank Pat and Shirley for being so attentive to my mom and helping her heal. I would definitely recommend this facility to my family and friends.

WORST place ever! The staff is incompetent and other than the physical therapy staff, no one knows how to do anything!!! My mom was there for two weeks and I wound up doing the nurses job. The employees use a system called “Parachute “ to order medical devices for patients that are being discharged. They order things last minute and then the day before my mom was discharged, the staff tells us the walker was denied. No problem solving skills. I had to solve the problem. If you can avoid this place, you are lucky!!!!

If possible I vould give this place more Stars for service but please read till the End!I will start with people attentiveness , they listen to your concerns, solve the issues promptly and care for the people with passion and love. The food is great, also the cleaness. This is my first experience on the facility like this and I am happy with my selection. Thank you every one for your service. I have to ammend my review because someone called Travis disenrolled my husband from his Insurance, even we told him “We want to keep Aetna, don’t do disenrollment.” Somehow he submitted disenrollment form without our consent, which caused a lot of trouble and at this moment my husband still fighting to get enrolled again on Aetna, having pending claims and bills to get paid. You can act on behalf of residents if they ask you to do so, not even when they say DON’T. This is not appropriate.
