Westburn Park in Aberdeen is a public park of about 10 hectares, located near the city center. I had the chance to visit it in April and was impressed by the lush, well-maintained greenery.
The park offers a variety of facilities for all ages: tennis courts, football fields, a children's playground, a cycling path, and a skatepark. One of the highlights is Gilcomston Burn, a stream that runs through the park, adding a natural charm to the area.
Also, Westburn House, a historic building designed by architect Archibald Simpson in 1839, is located within the park.
For those looking to spend time outdoors, Westburn Park is the perfect place for walks, picnics, or recreational activities. It is easily accessible and provides a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for relaxing or enjoying nature.
