We wanted something modern and personalized with an AI-generated image, and they nailed it. I had called around to three different bakeries, and Westchester stood out—not just for their top-notch reviews, but also for how reasonable and responsive they were. From start to finish, the team was a pleasure to work with—especially Amanda, who was patient, helpful, and did an amazing job bringing our vision to life. The cake wasn’t just gorgeous—it became a true highlight of the party and everyone kept asking where it was from. I live in Westchester and it's so nice to have a local bakery nearby! Have been in a few times - the fruit tarts and croissants are very good, and the fruit tarts, which I got for a birthday, were also beautiful. Everytime I have been in the service is great, very prompt, and everything is so nicely packaged too.

First of all their tears and cakes are amazing taste delicious but over all their service is one of the worst ever customer service. There is always something happening every time my family orders from here. I have plenty of times asked them to stop but because their products are good they keep going back. Please be aware of the worker Amanda she is by far the worst one ever. She is rude sarcastic and condescending to all the clients no matter what. The reason for this review amongst other times was because I specifically called and placed an order over the phone for my family to pick up. My sister in law and brother decided to go to pick up some other treats way before the cake was supposed to be picked up spending well over $200 in this establishment. Now it's nobodies business but they have a little one with autism. So apparently my niece decided to ring their little bell located inside about 5 times when this person Amanda came over and snatched the bell from where they had it. My sister in law asked if it was bothering her and with an attitude and a smile across her face said yes that's why she moved it. ONCE AGAIN MY NIECE HAS AUTISM!!! She is non verbal and only has 7 years old with a mindset of a much younger child. But instead of Amanda asking her parents nicely to please have her stop no she decided to be the rudest worst person ever and basically snatch something away from a child. In my opinion Amanda should not be working in customer service at all. So if you have any kind of disability or of you have a love one with any kind of disability I would highly stay away from this place until they teach their workers how to properly work with people.

Always professional! Always giving positive energy! Always accommodating. I've been ordering cakes here for years some with more notice than other times. Always made beautiful cakes for my family!

I ordered a customized theme cake for my nephew's birthday and Westchester Bakery outdid themselves. It was better than the sample photo I provided. When I placed the order in person, they were super attentive to my ideas and explained to me everything in detail. I am super happy with the way it turned out and the taste was amazing too! The cake was a super hit at the party. Definitely my go to bakery for cakes and I would highly recommend them

Westchester Bakery did an amazing job with our cake. We had a dia de los muertos theme. Not only was the cake beautiful, it tasted amazing. The tres leches is absolutely delicious and we got so many compliments. We don't get our cakes from anywhere else!! Thank you for doing an amazing job.

Love this little bakery nestled in the backyard of LAX. They created the most delicious and beautiful custom birthday cake for our daughter, going off of a photo, and chatting with us about design and price. It was a very reasonable price and we were delighted with the outcome. We’ve ordered from them before and will definitely order again.

The Croissants are EXCELLENT, and the fruit tarts are perfect. The price is the best value since there's free parking, great restaurants around the corner. And a safe environment, but the best time to go is Sunday mornings. If you spend $20 you will receive a return value of *$30 or more. *For example, since there's no parking fee, I'm willing to spend more money.

Just want to say how amazing this place is and what a deliciously incredible white cake with fresh strawberries, whipped cream and custard. I needed a half sheet graduation cake for a 1 day turnaround. I called Friday afternoon for a Saturday noon pickup. Jose was nice enough to accommodate my last minute order and it was a lot cheaper, for a much better cake, than some other well known bakeries nearby. Anyway, took it down to Orange County for the party and everybody was in love with the cake and raved about the cake and how they decorated it. Definitely a top notch bakery and will be a go to for events! Thank you to all at Westchester Bakery!!!

Food - we ordered a sheet cake with custard filling and fresh berries. We provided fresh fruit and flowers for the cake topping. The cake was fresh, not too sweet, delicious and beautiful.

I just moved in the area and decided to give this bakery a try. Everything was great, service, ambiance, etc. except for the croissant or something called that name I had..omg it was stale and a little bit on the salty side. I had to throw it away. Forget about it being flakey, more of being 'bready' in my opinion. Now, I dnt like to write negative reviews about small businesses, but wow, that croissant left a bad taste in my mouth, literally. Luckily, it wasn't expensive!! But then, I'd still give them another chance, maybe that's not their speciality. I haven't tried their other items. Hope they won't be stale though.

Took a stroll through Westchester Center while my car was getting fixed and stumbled upon Westchester Bakery. I've heard good things about this small neighborhood bakery and it did not disappoint. I ordered a caramel cappuccino, a cinnamon apple pastry, and this chocolate chip and Oreo cookie. The coffee was very tasty with the perfect amount of caramel. The cookie was extremely soft and satisfying and the combo apple danish was very good with an apple pie style apple slice in the middle. This bakery definitely satisfied my pastry craving. The staff was friendly and very welcoming as I walked in as well.

Great cakes, we had the marble cake with fresh bananas and custard with whip cream frosting. It was delicious!

Everyone loves the cakes and cream puffs from Westchester bakery. I usually get a vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream frosting. Please check your order. A couple times I received the wrong cake and I checked my receipt and it was actually my fault. The receipt was not what I thought I ordered. Could not fault the bakery for me not being clear. Be very clear and check your receipt because they have delicious cakes. Make sure you get a dozen chocolate covered cream puffs to go. Delicious

Yummy!!! Some items are 5 stars some are 4 but (to my tastebuds) nothing is under that. This place is a super cute quaint spot in an adorable section of Westchester. Place is small but packed with desserts and there are a few tables outside. 5 that we tried! Cream puffs dipped in chocolate Tres leches cake!!! Cherry pie 4 Choco flan Pecan cinnamon croissant type thing. Not sure of the name This all cost $16. Very reasonably priced. So much more I wanna try like the cookies, more cakes, etc but this is a good start. I will add more each time.

Coming in the staff was very friendly. They had many deserts perfect after having some ramen next door. We got fruit tarts, strawberry mousse and cookies! They have cakes as well and I think you can come order custom cakes as well. Nice little bakery that offers many options of desserts.

We love Westchester Bakery! They are super friendly and when I called them to find out the price and design for my son's birthday cake they were very helpful. This is the second time ordering a birthday cake for my son. The first time they made him a fondant Spider-Man cake. For my son's 6th birthday, he's currently into Minecraft and they did a greet job on the cake. It was a smooth process to text them the image of the cake and also get the details. I ordered vanilla, white 1/4 sheet cake with fruits and it was delicious. Very light and fluffy and not too sweet. Just right for the kiddos and adults. The size was perfect as well! The 1/4 sheet cake is for around 20-25 kids and we eventually had some left over slices to take home after the party. Will definitely order from Westchester Bakery again! Thanks for making my son's birthday party such a memorable one.

I would give this bakery a negative score if possible, but unfortunately it's not. After waiting my turn on Saturday, the young woman with the colored hair and glasses decided to ask a couple that entered the establishment after me if they needed assistance. I stated I was there first and should be the next served she wanted to argue even after the couple stated I was there before them. She seemed perturbed and I decided to take my $$$ elsewhere and will NEVER return. I have been going to this bakery for over 20 years, but again, no more. Actions have consequences.

Ordered a birthday cake here recently and an apple pie in the past. The apple pie was good. The cake unfortunately was just okay. We had requested cream cheese frosting and received buttercream frosting. It tasted a bit waxy and wasn't very flavorful. The cake sponge itself was good and moist. We left the cake on the table and it ended up bending to one side and the top slid off.

Go to flavor Marble Cake ! Amazing cakes and good service. They have made it how I want it every time.

The cakes here taste great (specifically the strawberry shortcake)..which is where the 2 stars came from but trying to get into contact with them, and getting your order is a horrible experience. I ordered a cake from here for a farewell party. I literally had to call 44 times before they finally picked up the phone, which to me is crazy...!! I called 4 days before I had to pick up the order, I placed the order, paid for it, it was confirmed I was picking it up at 7:45am, then triple checked with the person placing my order on the order details, time of pick up and spelling and what the cake would say. Come to the day of, I came around 9:00 to pick up the cake expecting it to be ready because I said I will pick it up at 7:45.. for my party.. they said I never placed my order!! I showed them my receipt and ensured them I called and who I spoke to and who placed my order as it says on the receipt.. they looked into it further and said the cake is still being made. I am upset at this point because everything was paid for I expected to just pick up my cake and go but they not only didn't have my cake ready but said it wasn't ordered. Around 9:30 they come out with the cake.. Spelling was not even right on the cake and it was not even the the note i wanted on the cake!! The message I wanted on the cake was "thank you for all that you have taught me. I will miss my NICU family. With love, Vivian" This was not even CLOSE to what I wanted!! I am pretty upset at this point because the cake looks messy and it's not even spelled right, how can a bakery give something like this to their customer! It is a plain black and white cake..I asked for chocolate and vanilla and some decoration..they did not deliver. To me this not a $50 cake..this is $20. Unfortunately, I will not be ordering from this bakery again..but 2 stars for them because their strawberry shortcake cake, is great.

They did such an awesome job on my husband's graduation cake. The cake was red velvet and moist. I sent them the circuit board and they have a fondant printer that can accommodate anything. Easy to work with; I texted them what I wanted. They did any color I wanted. I have the order about a week in advance. Affordable too! Parking is tricky on Sundays bc of the farmer's market. I would give yourself time if you pick up on Sunday.

They did it again!!! This time it was for my birthday and they did exactly what I wanted ! I was getting a little worried because they never called me to pick it up at the time I was supposed to and I called a bunch of time and no one picked up so we decided to just go in and luckily my cake was actually ready I think they were just busy because it was a Saturday but the cake was delicious and I asked for no writing and no butterflies

I've been coming here for years and they never disappoint. I just recently ordered a simple cake for my son's birthday and it was exactly how I requested. They're always very accommodating and professional. It's a cute little bakery with easy access to stop for a quick little dessert after lunch!

They make really beautiful cakes and were very nice when I placed the order over the phone. I made a mistake with storing the cake overnight or with delivery and the cake melted a bit. They let me bring the cake back and redecorated it for me (I had to pay for their time but I was thankful). The cake was a hit and everyone loved it.

Outstanding job on executing my vision for this cake! It was such a special 30th Birthday cake and made all the dreams come true! From images given to full execution and some. Looks and taste also matched, it was delicious!

I ordered a full size fruit tart for my mom's birthday. She loves this bakery from when she used to come here weekly. Felt fitting to celebrate her birthday with a fruit tart from one of her favorite places. It was ready when I arrived and it was a quick pick up. There's a Sunday farmers market that closes the street but there's still plenty of parking around. The tart was so delicious and the fruit was super fresh, very well made. Yum! My mom was happy!

They did a great job on my request for a heart shape cake for my Anniversary. Highly recommend, fair prices and great quality/service!!

Worst service ever and RUDEST. Won't let me get a word IN. Whoever answered the phone today kept on talking over me. I had to call them out and they didn't even apologize. THEY KEPT ON BEING RUDE. I used to come to place often. NO MORE. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Whoever it was who answered my call informed me that TODAY Wed 1/3/23 is closed. It doesn't say anywhere on their website, apps where you order from, and doesn't it say it AT THEIR STORE. Matter fact it says "open" on all the sites that have this WORTHLESS bakery. DONT GO ON WEDNESDAYS BECAUSE THEY ARE MAD THEY ARE WORKING WHEN ITS CLOSED. Also he let me know that you can't order through google that takes you through UberEats because the bakery doesn't use google.. then tells me that their google system isn't working????????? Do you guys not use it or is it not working????? OMG AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF!!!!!!! They charged me for a birthday cake that i needed today, cancelled it, and won't give me MY OWN MONEY BACK after 3 business days.. i wanted to get my dad cake for his birthday today and now I have to figure out how I can cough up another $50???? OFF OF THEIR MISTAKE??????? This place is absolutely the worst bakery i ever encountered. TOTAL BULLCRAP WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

On a whim, I went to get a cake for my best friend. The cake was beautiful and they had a fantastic assortment of cakes available for walk ins. My problem lies with the service and the cake. The bakery worker described it as a "cookies and cream cake". This was simply a chocolate cake with one cookie on top and vanilla frosting. It was truly an embarrassing experience because my best friend does not like chocolate cake. Be sure you have a clear understanding of what you're getting. They mentioned a strawberry shortcake, and now I'm fully convinced it is a regular vanilla cake with a few strawberries on top. They also charged $5 for a cake topper that I'm sure is no more than a dollar or two.

This place is the cutest! Such a great variety of fresh baked goods to chose from! Such a quaint and authentic feel. I'm happy as a lil kid from seeing all the cute and yummy desserts. I love that they had the cakes in smaller sizes that perfectly suited me and my boyfriend. Will definitely be coming back! Especially to get goodies for the office and for holiday parties. :)

Absolutely horrible service! I walked in and this order taker made we wait outside on a cold windy day, I get it .. covid .. I stood out there good 15 minutes and when I came in with my picture of exactly what I wanted the guy said several times " are you sure you don't want two tier?" I mean, he literally had me questioning what I wanted . I was so confused.. he left me and walked away to wait on other people three times in the middle of my order.. my order was a good $500 order and he made me feel like he didn't want my business for no reason. It's been several years since I've use this bakery, because Angel made it so much better ! But they don't do tier cakes anymore. I will never go back and if you like Good customer service, I do NOT recommend you use this business. Several groups of people came during the time I was in there, trying to order my cake, and he did not make one of them wait outside. Unbelievable!

I really liked this bakery but this isn't right. How do you cancel a cake pre-ordered way in advance one hour before pick- up time? I guess be careful if you pre-order they might cancel on you last minute.

My cupcakes were promised at 1:00 and weren't ready until 2:00!! I wasn't given an advanced notice that they were running behind, which would've been nice to know! To top it off the cupcakes I ordered were overpriced and were dry!! I'm very disappointed and need to find a new bakery!! Thanks for nothing Westchester Bakery!!

Been coming here for over 15 years and glad they are still here! Great customer service and good cakes and also ham n cheese croissant. Definitely recommend this family owned business.

Nothing here is unique...or good. Same quality as a grocery store, maybe worse. Don't buy anything from the glass case as it's been sitting a while. Their service is also horrible. Twice now we've used them for cupcakes for the kids birthday and they were late and unapologetic both times. Today, cupcakes were supposed to be ready at 8am. We have a receipt confirming this. Weren't ready at 8. Weren't ready at 9. Came in at 10 and still not ready. Didn't apologize - not once. Told me they are still working on them and to come back, then walked away from me. Garbage food. Garbage service. Not cheap. Avoid at all costs, especially if you have an important event...or anything that requires being on time. Showed receipt about 8am time and she lied and said we agreed to 1030. Receipt said 8, we confirmed 8 and even came in the day before to once again confirm 8am. Dishonest workers. Dishonest owner. Garbage across the board!

I just love this place. I placed an order for custom chocolate dipped strawberries and my goodness they were so beautiful. They came out better than expected. I wish I had gotten a chance to take a better picture but everyone ate them as soon as I sat them out. The strawberries were just beautiful and they tasted amazing ! I will always order chocolate dipped strawberries from them from now on! Thank you guys so much.

Get the chocolate mouse. You will not be disappointed. We also like the chocolate covered mini eclairs. I'm sure the rest of the items are just as good but we know what we like so we keep getting it.

I am so excited and happy and so appreciative with the people at this bakery from Alice the girl who helped me over the phone to the baker who made my daughter this beautiful cake it was a last minute order 2 days to make it they made it happen I sent them a photo of what I wanted and they surpassed the photo it was way better than any photo and it taste amazing as well fresh and chocolatty goodness everyone loved itthank you guys so much.

I requested whip cream frosting on my cake but it was still very sweet, I think they combined both, thinking I wouldn't notice.

We've used Westchester Bakery for both of my son's birthdays and they are not only artistic and gorgeous they are also delicious. Friends who say they don't like dessert have said it's the best cake theyve ever had!

Hidden little gem here ! The cream puffs & cannolis are great and really worth a try. . Very inexpensive, affordable and always has been consistent!
