The airport terminal is too small for the number of flights. The airlines flying in there and the airport authority need to do something about that and soon. The observation gallery on the 3rd floor is the best part. Its like they've done nothing since the years I've visited there first. The building looks nice outside, but inside needs lots of work.

Since I have family who live in Connecticut, not far from the airport, Westchester is my airport of choice when I fly in to visit family. It certainly beats the chaos that is LaGuardia, but it’s chaotic in its own way. I tend to fly Delta, and getting checked in at the Delta counter has been a nightmare every time I have flown out of Westchester. The police are slow and impolite and repeatedly. Those of us in line are told that computers are not working. Then on the day after Christmas, there was the exceedingly surly man with tattooed upper arms who was supposed to keep luggage bins supplied to those of us going through security. He made no effort to keep the bins supplied and when we asked him to give us one, he tossed it in a hostile way beneath the conveyor belt holding luggage items. He was capable of being friendly and smiling to the young woman ahead of us, but chose to treat us quite differently.

This is my second time flying from this airport. Arrived 2 hours early for my 8:45am JetBlue flight everything went so smoothly. Had breakfast in the terminal before my departure. Airport was busy early but the crowd died after 7am once a lot of the flights left. Before boarding we were told captain was not here but came within minutes after we were seated on board. Young lady at the counter was so nice and respectful. Once boarded onto flight 2601 Row 1 seats DEF were off duty flight attendants that were extremely loud. Once we took off you thought the voices would have softened but that never happened. They never shut up the whole flight. I had brought my Bose headphones to watch movies and because they were noise canceling I could get a good nap yet I still heard everything in their conversation. With the volume on high. They started drinking wine as soon as drink service started and it got worse every refill. The flight was so quiet except for them. The two male flight attendants also engaged with them the whole flight. So imagine 5 people cross talking next to you and in front of you for 4 hours. If you are off duty employees don't you have some plane etiquette. How are all of you louder than the whole plane. I had the only migraine after this flight had to take 2 ibuprofen. If they flight attendants didn't know these people I'm sure they would have said can you please keep it down but since they new them forget the whole plane very disappointing

Google
When you imagine a small airport- just imagine it even smaller. Really easy to fly in and out of. They serve Seattle's best coffee and have a good creamer selection in the shop as well. Very small, quick airport to fly out of. We will use it more frequently when traveling to the area for business. Security is very slow and outdated. Their machine that spins around of you flags every guest making it a silly piece of equipment to use here. All and all good flight in and out though

Courtney K

Google
This airport is fine. Not sure why so many bad reviews. It’s pretty much what one would expect from a very small airport. The terminal is small but we found seating. Plenty of parking on floor 3 of the garage. Pre check TSA took all of 7 minutes. They have a concession store with tons of snacks including gluten free options. Cheap prices as well. If you’re concerned about crowding get here 2-3 hours before your flight.

Lulu

Google
This airport is nice, but the terminal is VERY cramped. It needs to be more open and have more seating. I do like how easy it is to go through security and checking in bags. Overall a fairly good airport.

Miguel C.

Google
I came here after my flight from Newark got canceled. Many flights got diverted to this airport. Even though it is a very small airport it really does have everything you need. The staff is nice, the restaurants food was great and the TSA area was nice to accommodate as many people as possible considering how many peoples flights got diverted here. I'm thinking next time I travel I can definitely use this airport.

William P.

Google
There is nothing like flying out of your hometown airport ! Yes its small but it's supposed to be small. I have never had to wait long for TSA or to check luggage. The terminal can get crowded especially first thing in the morning but there are additional seats near the gates. There is a restaurant upstairs and a grab and go with seating in the main terminal. I have never had a delay or cancellation and have flown out of Westchesteramy times over the years. There are rental car counters and informational kiosks. There is a parking garage and the Westchester county police are always present inside and outside the terminal for security. For all of the complainers, you can deal with the nightmare that the NYC airports can be albeit enjoy their amenities or you can have no traffic and no lines and grab a simple coffee and breakfast sandwich at Westchester and br happily on your way. During our last departure we got to see the WWE corporate plane of the tarmac which was pretty cool.
google avatar

Michael M.

Yelp
What a great little airport! We flew in here for an Autumn trip, and were pleasantly surprised to find only 4 gates, so minimal walking. There's a coffee shop and rental car station in the lobby too! Flying out was a little longer process as Gate 1 is pretty small so a full plane takes up a lot of space, but it's still worlds apart from any airport I've been in before. Loved It!
google avatar

Yelp
Landing 30 miles north of New York City, near White Plains in Westchester County. The goal was getting off our plane and into a rental quicker than flying directly into New York City. Approximately 39 flights from 8 airlines depart from the main terminal. JetBlue, Delta, Breeze, BermudAir & American fly here. The airport was shockingly busy with lots of people arriving and trying to depart. There was only one luggage carousel just for our flight. Very easy small and convenient airport.
google avatar

Jeff S.

Yelp
This airport is so convenient. We flew in on JetBlue and had an excellent experience. There's only 1 baggage carousel so it's quick and easy to get your stuff and get going. Also renting a car here is a breeze. We got our keys at the rental agency kiosk next to the baggage claim and it's like a 3 minute walk to all the cars. Overall you can't go wrong at HPN. I'll always choose this place over LaGuardia and JFK when flying into town.
google avatar

J E.

Yelp
Kind of an outdate, smaller airport that's on the NY/CT line, so it's close to the City of NY or New Haven. They have all the larger car rentals desks here, but the place and parking lot are rather cramped for the amount of passengers that come through here. Overall, it's a decent solution for flying into Trumbull or Shelton, CT.
google avatar

Jackeline F.

Yelp
It is a tiny airport. Only 4 gates. Airlines are American, Delta & Jetblue. Jetblue has a route MCO-HPN. It's convenient if you're avoiding the gigantic hustle, bustle & crowd of LGA, JFK or the out of state, large and cumbersome EWR. It's only 30mins away from The Bronx, with no traffic. With traffic, about 48mins. On site and very close car rental with options like, Budget, Avis, and Enterprise. Going through security was quick and efficient. There is plenty of seating and there is a convenience store. Unfortunately no real food. That's the only thing I wish they would change about this airport. Get some real food options.
google avatar

Jay P.

Yelp
Small, quick. One luggage terminal. No hassle. Limited cars though for rentals. Limited employees too.
google avatar

Renata R.

Yelp
Easy to maneuver. Bathrooms are dated, landscaping at minimum. Convenient if you live in Westchester or southern CT.
google avatar

Stephanie B.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I flew into HPN last weekend. It's definitely a small regional airport and it shows. Theres only 4 active gates. We flew in from DTW where there is 147 gates. Everything is well marked for baggage claim/rest rooms/ car rental. On our way back, security was fast and efficient despite really being behind the times. A lot of practices are very dated here. It can be a mess trying to find a seat when you're waiting for your gate. You are elbow to elbow with everyone in their snack shop by the gates. Lots of hand sanitizers. Everything was smooth sailing for us though. All the workers we talked to were very friendly.
google avatar

Don C.

Yelp
The staff at this airport should teach all other airport staff around the world how to speak to and treat people. Easy in and easy out and service with a smile.
google avatar

Kevin S.

Yelp
The good: only 8 gates; TSA wait is negligible, if at all. Quiet convenient alternative to LGA. The meh: no real WiFi to speak of. Outlets (if you can find them) don't work. The bottom line: I highly recommend reserving long term parking way in advance. I had a reservation & got the last available long term lot spot.
google avatar

Que B.

Yelp
First time flying out of this airport it is small but definitely gets the job done. Check in process is simple and staff handles their customers with care. Baggage claim is easy access to achieve your luggage. They do have a small cafe for some quick snacks before the plane. During the flight home we had some issues with the plane and unfortunately the flight was delayed. The great news they went above and beyond to get us home. I know if it would have been JFK or LaGuardia they would have cancelled the flight thank you kindly for your service.
google avatar

Mandy C.

Yelp
Clean and small airport that's very accessible! Not a lot of wall outlets because it's an older building, but there are a few scattered about if you look. Pro tip: the second floor has some cubicle style work spaces and an observation area to sit and watch planes take off and land. It was quiet enough that I took a little nap in the corner! Owing to its size, there is one grab and go café on the first floor and a small sit down restaurant with bar service on the second. You may also want to wait to go through security here, as the seating is very limited once you do. There's another grab and go style Café near the terminals. I had a choice to fly into either JFK direct or have a connecting flight which arrived here. Despite the plane change, this was still the better option and again, accessibility beat out convenience here!
google avatar

William S.

Yelp
Always an easy in and out experience. The airport is super small and the TSA line can be long and brutal. Limited food offerings, but as an airport, you know you won't be here long.
google avatar

Catrina L.

Yelp
This airport is absolutely adorable. Reason why I got here was due to work. I had to go to new Windsor and this is the only airport that's close by it. I tried looking SWF but there's no flight going there so I had to take this airport instead. It's an hour drive to my destination, but I'd rather take it than driving all the way from JFK or EWR. One thing I love about small airports is there's not much line. I was literally the only person on enterprise and checking out. My car was such a fast process. I highly recommend this cute little airport. See
google avatar

Ophelia M.

Yelp
I fly to the Hudson Valley somewhat regularly and Westchester County Airport makes it a breeze if your goal is to get somewhere in the Hudson Valley. I've also flown into La Guardia which then you have to deal with NYC traffic before getting to the Hudson Valley. This airport is much easier as well as being small and relatively low key. It's a very small regional airport, which is to say: eat before you get here and don't expect plush gates with all the outlets and working areas. It's also not a spot to fly into without getting a rental car unless you're going to be staying in the immediate area (be sure to map this/check before you go!). If you're aim is to get to NYC, JFK or LGA makes more sense. If you're hope is to get into areas of north of NYC in the Hudson Valley, this is your spot!

Yelp
I scheduled my vacation trip leaving and returning to HPN. It was a convenient trip from Brewster, NY to get to. There is a small Cafe in the lobby area. The tsa workers were all respectful and got us through quickly. What I found was that Jet Blue left right on time. If I could I would give The County Airport parking section 10 stars. It was the best self service parking I have ever experienced. I booked it online paying the $11. Fee for securing the spot. I arrived, parked and went to the checkin area. No hassles. When I returned my car was secure and as I checked out an attendant appeared to assist with completing the payment. A total of 7 days and it cost me just $113. I am so blessed $16.14 a day including nights. I almost don't want to say anything and keep it as my secret.

Joseph P.

Yelp
Easy to get to. Parking for pickup is difficult. No good parking solution for leaving car near airport. Uber or Lyft if you need to get there yourself.

Ed M.

Yelp
Constant delays, way too many flights for its size. TSA is ridiculously slow even though it's less than 20 minutes from my house. I would never use it again.
google avatar

Vivian.I V.

Yelp
I enjoyed flying out this airport. Small and very comfortable, easy checking, comfortable access to the gates. A complete store to get snacks and hot and cold beverages. Our new alternate to NYC airport when traveling to and out of CT
google avatar

Cassie D.

Yelp
This is the first time flying out of this airport I admit that I bought these flights because they were cheaper and I figured why not try out a new place?! This airport is absolutely Tiny with a capital T! Only 1 terminal with what looks like 6 gates. We went through Pre-check TSA in under 2 minutes. Amazing! It wasn't super packed here either, mind you it's 6:25am as I write this. Agents were friendly and smiled. I will definitely be flying in and out of here again. Heck, this might even be my new favorite airport, beating out ABE in PA.
google avatar

Joseph P.

Yelp
On its best days, this terminal is mildly horrible. The rest of the time it's atrocious. Dirty, (filthy!) crowded, not enough space for the number of passengers, not enough tables in the small eating area, few outlets for charging...etc, you get the picture. Clear does not operate on weekends (huh?!) Only good thing is Breeze flies nonstop to Vero Beach and is in fact the only airline with flights into Vero.

Amanda G.

Yelp
Arrived at the airport at 3am to get checked in and beat the security line only to find out no agent for the airlines come until 4:30am and defeated the purpose of getting there early however we ran into a airport worker (Emily?) who helped us get our bag tags at the kiosk and got us in the correct line to have them checked by JetBlue and then brought us to a security point that didn't have a long line so we were able to move through quickly after. It's a nice airport just very small and not a lot of food options after security and that was disappointing.
google avatar

Victoria S.

Yelp
Very easy security process, being a small airport I usually have little to no line to be processed. The seating arrangements changed to where you are supposed to sit in your gate area for gates 1 and 4 instead of the main terminal, which is pretty confusing since there were no signs indicating. Overall, clean area and I am grateful to have this airport that flies to my destination.
google avatar

Rebecca H.

Yelp
Worst airport experience I have ever had and I've been to developing countries. I've been to 6 continents. Developing countries with the GDP of probably Rhode Island can do better than this. If you travel and live in mid-northern Westchester, you know what a pain in the ass it is to get to one of the main airports. We are lucky enough to travel frequently and I decided to make our lives a little easier and book something out of this place instead. Unfortunately, unless you're going to Florida, flying to/from this airport means you will probably have a layover. It seemed worth it for the convenience of the 20 min drive from our house. This airport kicked things off on our Bourbon Trail trip. We had a flight at 5:15 to Charlotte after which we were catching the last flight of the day to Louisville. We arrived promptly for our flight at 3:15. A little foreshadowing, my Dad actually asked me while I was in the uber "is it crowded?" Things started to smell off when we walked in the front doors and there was a line that literally wrapped around from one side of the small airport all the way down to the bag check area. Huh. It became apparent that this was the line to go through security. We checked our bags. The lady who checked us in had a little bit of an attitude and could have benefitted from some patience but I've come to expect this kind of shit in NY. Walking towards security is when I noticed what the line was for. No worries! I have TSA precheck. We walked up to the TSA precheck area, which was blocked off, and were told they are only taking people whose planes are literally at the gate, preparing to board. He directed us to the "back" of the room, that was completely filled with people by the way, where "our line" was located. After weaving in and out of people and making our way to our supposed line, there was no line. I did ask someone about the existence of such line and she informed me she had been waiting for her flight that was due to take off at 9am. This was almost 3:30pm.. It turns out, there was some fog that delayed a bunch of flights and everything got clogged. The problem is that there were so many people waiting and only a handful of gates, there wasn't enough room for everyone. If you wanted to do something other than stand for hours, you had to find a piece of floor to sit on. It was insanity and quite unpleasant to say the least. The way one would find out when they should go through security and therefore, need to board their flight soon, was this woman with the 80s haircut walking around shouting what flight numbers they were accepting through TSA. There was one point when they shouted our flight number and we went to line up just for me to realize that it was DELTA 5070 and not my AA 5070 they were boarding. It was completely absurd. We finally went through security after what seemed like eternity of misery. We found a spot to sit on to lean against something, the thing we were leaning against was literally the baggage claim belt, no joke, because there was literally no other place. Because of this location, I was able to overhear a lot of the people on arriving flights bitching about how long they had to sit in the plane on the taxiway because there just werent' enough gates. It was such a backup of flights, one of the flights had to DIVERT TO JFK before ultimately coming to HPN. After making it through security, I was literally starving and thirsty so I went to the only place, a small store with snacks. They changed the gate our flight was leaving from a few times but a different gate was listed on the board. It was a complete mess. Needless to say, I would never again fly from here if it was the last airport on earth. Oh, and because our flight was delayed so much (2 hours or so) we missed our connecting flight and had to pay for an extra night in a hotel.
google avatar

Kathleen L.

Yelp
Small airport in New York great to leave from because it's not crowded like ka guardia or jfk . Lovely people work there personable and kind . When I return I'm happy it will be through this airport.
google avatar

Christine S.

Yelp
I flew to this airport many of times. I am from NY and now reside in Florida. I never had a problem until this weekend. I went up on June 27th and our flight was delayed. I called and they said they were staying open. Our expected time was 11 pm but arrived around 2 am with the promise of being open. Well, they failed! We were stranded at the airport for hours until I can find an uber that was less than 100 dollars to take us on a 10 minute drive. We get back to the airport at about 9 am and clerk at rental car gives us attitude. She snapped at all of us (shame on you AVIS) and tells us our car will be ready in 45 minutes and will receive a call. Well, we waited the 45 minutes because we were petrified of clerk and she snaps at us and says, "it's been here"! No call or anything! I was advised by numerous employees to go further with this which I am. The staff at this airport has ZERO and I repeated ZERO customer service. The trip back was even worse but I will deal with JetBlue on that! The supervisor on our flight at 9pm was sitting on the counter cursing out customers with her walker talkie! Never in my life did I ever experience this
google avatar

Marietta C.

Yelp
Cozy little airport and extremely convenient to hop on and hop off pretty much wherever (ish). It's got all the basic things, nothing exceptional, no lounges or anything like that (**if ONLY**) a couple of restaurants and places to grab food before security but other than that, that's pretty much it! It's pretty smooth and line can get long for security but only because there's only two lines. If you're running late you literally wouldn't have to run far either, it's all right there. The only place it gets messy is checking in with JetBlue area, people are always confused with the lines and the self check ins but honestly, it's with every airport. Be kind to the hardworking staff here at this tiny airport that's working hard for us to vacation wherever we are going. Convenient and easy place to arrive to or take off from. You definitely miss all the NYC traffic and huge airport walking and drama. Worth the extra $$ for a more local flight.
google avatar

Jason R.

Yelp
On a scheduled flight back home, go rerouted to this airport. Normally I would be upset if something of this magnitude happen, however I was not upset. First the staff was accommodating and very helpful during my time here. That made my experience at this place that much more enjoyable
google avatar

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Small, "neighborhood" airport easily accessible from Southern Connecticut. Efficient security line and small convenience store with a surprisingly varied array of items. It can become rather crowded due to its small size though.
google avatar

Tracy C.

Yelp
A solid four. Small, but effective. New waiting room addition and family bathrooms. They keep them as clean as possible. Two water filling stations. Limited parking. Nice little (expensive) concession stand inside the terminal(s). They do sell wine and beer, and sometimes a person is there selling other drinks. I haven't figured that one out yet.
google avatar

Angela B.

Yelp
If you're looking for a simple airport to get you from point A to point B, this is a great option. It only has about four gates, so it is very easy to navigate. It is small, so security was very quick.
google avatar

Chloe W.

Yelp
This airport would get 1 star if it were not conveniently located. Everything else is bad. It is small, crowded, with too little seating. Many people sitting on the floor. Chairs are very uncomfortable. Very few plugs for charging. The split system AC (yes, split system!) keeps dripping on me while I sit on the cold, hard metal chair that i was lucky to score. Wifi cuts in and out and shoes two bars. Apparently no thought was given towards making this place accommodating for passengers in recent memory. Our flight has been delayed five times already. People are blocking the aisles while they stand around waiting. Lots of sad looking faces all over the place. The staff on the PA system is rude, talking like nasty teachers addressing a kindergarten class. And that's when you can even understand them. Half the time they are mumbling or talking too low to understand them. They have one convenience store/snack bar that is pathetic. It looks like a gas station food store with even fewer options. But I did have the burned chicken tenders. Yum. The facility looks line it was built in 1955 and hasn't been renovated since. Maybe it was re-carpeted at some point? The county and the FAA should be ashamed to call this an airport.
google avatar

Lolita M.

Yelp
HPN is quick and convenient. Seamlessly checking in and going through security. My only advice, don't arrive hungry. The restaurant is upstairs but you will have to leave the terminal to get access to it and have to go through security again. I made the mistake of arriving hungry and spent $20 on a turkey sandwich on wheat bread (regular sliced) and orange juice. Don't get extorted. Eat first!
google avatar

Pamela J.

Yelp
The year is 2023. Most airports are catering to people's modern tastebuds and are actually offeting hip eateries and food that's actually exciting. Is this the case at the Westchester airport? Absolutely not. It's stuck in the dark ages with horrendous dining choices and your typical bags of processed poisons. Hey, at least they added beer and wine so that's a step in the right direction. The airport has a captive audience that can sell a lot $ to waiting passengers. The food choices were so bad and I was so hungry, I opted for a banana. At least it was fresh. Come on HPN, step up your game on the food front.
google avatar

Daniel A.

Yelp
As far as airports this place is good. Quick and easy thru security. A little annoying bc there is never seating. Seems like they are always sold out and the 2-3 flights at a time take much of the atrium seating.
google avatar

Xenia M.

Yelp
This airport is a hot disorganized mess, but I must admit it's so much more convenient than trekking to LGA or JFK. There isn't much space to sit by the gate. Very cramped and unclear boarding areas. I believe there is one small snack shop to get food before you enter security.

Michael C.

Yelp
My first time flying out of this airport few weeks ago. It's a small airport. I can't speak for the experiences others had or preferences of others in airports but for me, it was quick checking in, baggage claim and going through TSA. I was able to find a seat but once it got packed, I can see there are limited seats since many were standing around. I wasn't in need of outlets but there weren't many visible. There was a line for the only small convenience store so I didn't wait around. Overall, I had a pretty good experience. Would I fly out of here again? I don't have preference leaving out of any NY Metro airport. So I wouldn't mind if I find a good ticket leaving from this airport.

Terri M.

Yelp
I just had the most fantastic service at this airport. I travel often but this was the best. I am elderly and I use a wheelchair when I travel. Last night I pulled in around 9:30 from Fort Lauderdale. It was very cold and the plane was packed. A wheelchair helper name Soida came to me and decided to go all out in helping me. He had a pleasant nature, friendly, helped with my luggage, flagged my daughter for me and even helped me into the van. His service was over and above. I hope I get him again.
google avatar

Novella N.

Yelp
I love flying out of Westchester. Less than 20 minutes away, and can also get through security in the same amount of time? Score! I left off one star because I wish they had at least one more food option post security. I thought they used to have a Dunkin here?
google avatar

James S.

Yelp
I'm sure this tiny airport can be a convenient and easy option for the area but it lacks in many areas. Know that it only has 4 gates and no real food option past security; it's just a convenient store. Also, there is a lack of seating if all 4 gates are expecting departures around the same time. In my experience, numerous flights were delayed and as a result the place was packed. Every seat taken, every bit of wall to lean on was occupied and as a result people are sitting on the floor blocking walk ways. There's no way the area was compliant with fire code. Also, the PA system is substandard even when people are quiet, pack a ton of people in there and you cannot hear announcements. Based on my experience I will not fly out of here again if I can help it. Again, it's small and easy to maneuver but know it can turn into a nightmare very quickly.
google avatar

Anthony B.

Yelp
Long long slow security lines on Saturday mornings. They have clear but don't offer it on the weekends (that makes zero sense)
google avatar

Erica J.

Yelp
I would just like to highlight the fact that this is a very tiny airport. There is an upstairs that has a bar where you can hang out if you are waiting for your flight. The first floor is where your flight will always be and you'll be on the same level and an eye view of the TSA line. When I say eye view, you can do a cartwheel from your seat and hit the x-ray machine contraption. When there's more than one flight going out of once, it definitely seems congested. I had no issues at all with this airport. Airport. Give me anxiety and this was definitely a piece of cake. I feel like you can literally show up the minute boarding process starts and you would be fine. I've been to quite a few airports in New York, and New Jersey, and they are god-awful. Don't even get me started with LaGuardia and Newark. My direct flight from PBI to Westchester at the end of September was $300. Seriously that is an incredible price, considering how all the aggravation of dealing with a large airport is gone.

Yelp
The little airport that could! Convenient to Sound Shore, northern Westchester and places north and CT. The terminal is small for the volume, but there is extra space that could be utilized. I recommend it if it's an option.

Yelp
Nice regional airport that takes passengers to hub airports. The only thing I don't like is that the long term parking is expensive and the nearest outside long term parking is only available from 5 am-12 mn. If you leave and arrive within those hours, then check out the off site parking with shuttle. They do have TSA so that is a big plus.

Yelp
There was a lady working at the Gate 4 desk for a flight leaving to Detroit from HPN on Wednesday, January 22 boarding at 12:35pm. I told her that I had a 30-minute layover to catch my connecting flight and she kindly upgraded my seat to the front of the plane to make it easier to deplane quickly. I want to thank her for her professionalism and kindness. It made a difference. She should get a promotion. Have a blessed day.

Yelp
Meet the Parents! Naw, I didnt meet the parents here, this is where the movie with Ben Stiller was filmed, where he's trying to get on board a flight, and he's like the only one there. This is a small, small airport. After getting a flight out of New York LaGuardia Airport, this became the only option to get out of the Empire State. I couldn't believe that they have regular flights out of this place. It looks more like a regional airport. I don't think they have a customs area. When I went, everyone was remarking at how much the airport had changed in recent history- an expansion of the TSA and more check-in areas. Woo! My favorite thing about this airport, other than its celebrity status, is the bar that's upstairs. There's really three bars, but really, there's just one bar that has three different vibes. The people all work together. The back one allows for views of the terminal, and the tarmac. Very nice. TSA was easy, there's no moving sidewalks to get you to your gate. It's just one big sitting area once you get past security. There's a place with not good food, and high priced booze. There's not even a gift shop.

Yelp
I flew home to Florida shortly a few days after Christmas from Westchester County Airport and enjoyed the experience. After flying into a crowded LaGuardia (and the newly remodeled terminals there are great), HPN was very different way to leave the region. There are about 4 or 5 counters where you can check your bags and only two security lines. We arrived for an evening flight and walked right through with TSA PreCheck. All of the airport staff we encountered were friendly and professional. It's best not to arrive to this airport hungry, as there is only one small shop before security and one crowded convenience store after security. There's four gates to leave from, and when our flight was leaving, the boarding area was packed as this place is SMALL. However, there are bathrooms on each side as well as a plethora of private bathrooms on the far side of the airport- very helpful for changing my one-year old son who was flying with my wife and I. If you're north of New York, I'd highly recommend giving Westchester County Airport a try.

Yelp
The ride there was fantastic. Great fast & friendly service. But, our flight was delayed and we arrived at 12:12am today & the Purchase Park & Ride was closed causing my husband, 2 young kids & I to be stranded at the airport. We were eventually escorted to the parking area to retrieve our car via police ecsort at about 130am as no taxi service was available. We are completely dissatisfied with the services & will never use them again. We cannot believe this company does not have a contingency plan in place for flight delays. I hope this review helps promote positive changes within theie business siness practices.

Yelp
This is my go to airport unless I'm flying internationally. Then I normally use JFK. Airline check in here is normally quite speedy; however I recommended using TSA Pre-Check if you are a member. This normally saves time. The Pre boarding lounge is not too big and can get rather crowded at peak times. I would also recommend to use Uber unless you're getting a lift to and from the airport.
