The hotel is nice.
Many guests are conference tourists (they host conferences there) in their 30s and 40s and the general athmosphere is sociable. The bed at the studio room was very comfortable.
However, cleaning of the toilet was far from sufficient, when I came you could see that the toilet sit was not professionaly cleaned (I asked them to send a cleaner to redo it), lighting around the study in the room is more "romantic style" and doesn't allow a professional long-term guest to work in the room. There is a business station with great lighting. However, it's located in a space which is not insulated from the outside and was frozen during the winter... The receptionist Tim was very professional by organising a working space near the reception. There is a small gym and a Spa which includes steam sauna and regular sauna. The steam sauna wasn't working in three different days. At the second day I contacted the reception and the manager, a curly-haired young man, went and fixed it directly (it only needed a restart). However, in the third day which was saturday, I was answered around 11:00 in the morning in a very unprofessionaly way by one of the young receptionist ladies that "till 15:00 there are no receptionist managers and nothing can be done as this is not an emergency and I have no access and can not ask for it". This is not the way a huge hotel with so many rooms should function. Due to that incident and another one when the cleaner entered into my room at 17:00?! , immediatly without waiting, after several knocks on my door, telling me that I should have checkedout (Although I extended my stay one evening before and just because the studio has a hallway she didn't see me undressed..) ,I was offered by one of the receptionist manager lady complimentary breakfasts for the rest of the stay, which shows at least that they do try to make you stay the best even when unprofessional things happen. I must say that all of the receptionists besided that one incident were very helpfull and patient during all of my stay. I ordered breakfast before, yes it has a lot of good options but I think that 22 Euros is overpriced. The fact that most guests are conferences related and are being offered this as a group included doesn't justify such a high price. NL is expensive but hotels don't overcharge for such breakfast... just a hint: I think most hotel guests don't drink Cava wine for breakfast, in all days but one the bottles remained closed. On my last day I had to checkout early in the morning before they open breakfast, I asked to get a box and pack breakfast from the one offered a day before, since I was a studio "longterm guest" with a kitchen in my room, and they agreed, which was respectable. The hotel is centrally located and not too far from the central train station of Eindhoven and the center of the city. The zone is safe and there is a medium supermarket and a gym 2 min away. The hotel restaurent offers good healthy food and the waiters, especially a young lady from Curaçao (which I don't know her name) were very attentive but again like breakfast, it's very overpriced. There is a huge Brita water purifier for both water and ice just across the reception but only the ice station side is well indicated. I believe this results in many guests not being aware of this option.
