Westerås Restaurant

This is a bit tricky to find- but Google Maps got us there correctly. Way up a narrow road with lots of people walking on but yes - once you get to top where restaurant is there’s a parking lot. It costs 100 KR to park - you can use a card inside. We did not eat but we for beers and sat outside and enjoyed the view. 🐑 🐐🦙 on the grounds and the 🐐 are quite friendly. From the restaurant there’s a bunch of trails. Worth the visit and the paid parking!

Wow! I adore this restaurant!! It really is the whole package. The view is beautiful, the food was so delicious and the staff was amazing! The food was fresh and fantastic. Some of the best fish I’ve ever had! The staff was so kind and accommodating to my gluten intolerance. Near the restaurant, there are hiking trails and you can visit the farm and see very friendly goats and llamas! Fantastic experience all around 🥰

We enjoyed a fabulous dinner here. The views are stunning! The food was delicious and it was so nice to enjoy local produce in a tranquil setting away from the touristy town of Geiranger. The service was also excellent. Highly recommend the gorgeous restaurant ❤️🇳🇴

Very nice staff, greatest food we have had in Norway since the start of our holidays. We arrived 1 hour early and we did a small walk we a stunning view before dinner. Our daughter was enlighten too as there are goats and lamas on the way… perfect experience!

Absolutely wonderful - from the incredible views to the scrumptious food and fabulous service! A highlight of our stay where we enjoyed lunch on the terrace and returned for dinner inside. We had the opportunity to speak with the owners who were so delightful. The restaurant was once a barn and the land (still with roaming goats) has been in the family for generations.

This place is magical. The food, the staff everything was exceptionally amazing. About the food: The main dish was trout, something i have never tasted before. It was juicy, fresh and deeply tasty without being heavy. It is a nice alternative to meat. My dessert was the strawberries lasagna. It was good to escort the main dish even tho it could be "fuller" in taste and quantity.

Must visit when in Geiranger! Amazing views of the valley, very serene and romantic in the evening. Kids will have fun playing with the goats on the property if they are around. Food was delicious! We had the sweet potato soup and vegetable curry with rice. The latter was divine! The strawberry lasagna had fresh berries and was very good too. Great staff!
