Wildly expensive store credit returns, but… they really do have some nice stuff. If your anniversary is around the corner and you don’t have anything you can buy your way out of the problem here

BEWARE - we were visiting the area and made two purchases. A mere 1hr later we returned one item. The sales representative when checking us out did not inform us that items were not able for a refund. We were informed they would review our case because they did not want to refund us for the item. This was 11 days ago and NO ONE has contacted us. This is after 4 emails (sending them to two different email addresses), 2 phone calls and a message, AND after speaking with the manager directly to no decision. On top of this, BEWARE this store is up charging more than twice the price for items. A quick google search and you will find the same items cheaper.

Very posh! Lovely merchandising. Exquisite Style! Vibrant colors! They also offer fresh pastries and assorted beverages.

Loved this place!! Great selection of shoes, clothes, and accessories. Plus, a very well curated collection of housewares and kitchen things and they even had a market with lots of local, homemade or small batch goods. They sell fresh bread and since I went on a Saturday morning, they had samples out which were delish. I'm bookmarking this place and will definitely go again!

ORIGIN: For seven decades Saperstein's had served Millerton and the surrounding communities. Recently sold, the store is now a reimagined conception of the town's department store. CONCEPT: Named Westerlind after the Swedish-born shop owner and designer, Andrea Westerlind, here your can still find Carharrt workwear, as well as an eclectic international collection of outdoor attire and accessories. LOCATION: Westerlind has several locations in the North East, but this one is in the enter of Millerton. Curbside parking is easy. EXPERIENCE: Although some items on the display floor may be priced beyond what is typically found in the rural area, Westerlind does carry items of high quality that are on par with popular department stores. Westerlind is a good destination when looking for something unique. For example, during the winter holiday glass ornaments with surprising designs were sold (such as a glittery syringe of Botox). TIP: Grab a coffee or tea and relax in the Adirondack chairs that line the entrance side of the building. Westerlind Pantry, an affiliated market, is located in the basement.
