A must visit if you are in Inuvik! They are open 7 days a week, but limited hours. Write outside the visitor center there is a craft shop where you can see sometimes local artists doing carving or selling them at a much more discounted price than you would get at the stores. It is actually quite peaceful to sit and have or lunch or picnic outside the visitor center, beautiful skies and view of a very colorful hospital. Inside, there is a lot of information about the history of people and the wildlife in the area.

It’s a free museum! So informative and cozy. You can get certificates here (till it runs out) It exhibits local arts, culture and wildlife.

Went at 1230 on sat, however, they are closed for lunch 12-1pm. Came back after 1pm, got our free arctic circle certificate and a coupon for 5% off at Bob's gas station.

The exhibits are very well done and informative. I was quite impressed with what has been done with this visitor's center.
