Westfield Carousel

I’ve always loved shopping and spending time at Westfield Carousel. I first came across this place over 20 years ago when I was studying at uni in WA — and wow, it’s come a long way since then! The major upgrades and renovations over the years have made it so much more modern and enjoyable. There’s a great mix of shops, cafes, and places to hang out, and the whole place just has a good vibe. Parking’s pretty easy too — you get 2 hours free if you’re not a member, and up to 4 hours free if you sign up as a Westfield member, which is super handy. All up, it’s one of my go-to spots whenever I’m in the area. Always a great experience!

Horrific parking! We went there on a Saturday morning, and planned to leave after lunch. There was a massive traffic jam at the car park! After talking to some people, we found out it took at least 40 minutes to get out. So we stayed in the shopping centre for a bit hoping the traffic will improve later. We spent another 40 mins in the shopping centre unwillingly, it still took us 25 mins to get out of the car park. We did not plan to spend our whole day off there but we were literally trapped there. Very unhappy. Such a poorly planned car park. What if there is an actual emergency and everyone needs to leave? It'd be impossible. Will NOT come back here again.

If it wasn’t for the car park from hell, it would be a 5 star rating because the shops are awesome. Got trapped trying to leave for over an hour made us late to an event we’d already paid for will be going somewhere else next time. Sort it out!

2 hour free parking, lots of parking spaces, lots of entrances and exits, disabled parking in all levels and disability accessible. Can be abit confusing if new, but just follow the signs eg exit signage everywhere!

Love this place. I wish i could live locally .It’s an attractive shopping centre. Food court is great plus variety of stores to shop.

Worst parking experience I honestly ever had. I never wanted to leave a shop, but couldn't before. But there we were. All these cars trying to squeeze out the tiny bottleneck of an exit onto an already congested road. I am not even joking when I say that we left well over an hour later than we wanted. This place is a trap!! But it highlights beautifully everything that is wrong with building car-centric cities. Scholars could write thesis after thesis on failed town planning using the example of this shopping centre and Albany Hwy, I am sure of it 😆. In all seriousness though, I am not going back there. It wasn't a good time.

A modern shopping mall design with attractive shops and wide walkways. However, there are way too many people for WA standards.

I was really impressed by the variety of shops and restaurants at this shopping centre. Great place to spend a few hours. However, the parking situation was shocking. Not only it was hard to find a spot, but even getting out of the car park took me 20 minutes due to a long line of cars trying to exit.
