I recently visited the Westside Lilo's Cafe, a classic American restaurant located on Arizona’s 66th Avenue. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a nostalgic charm that truly captured the essence of a traditional American diner. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the pleasant experience. For our meal, I ordered a burger, an omelette, and a sandwich. Each dish was well-prepared and flavorful, reflecting the hearty, satisfying style typical of American comfort food. Overall, the food was enjoyable, and the entire dining experience was positive. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a taste of classic Americana.

An American gem, with a German owner. Absolutely outstanding service brings you back to a classic age of American food and American diners. Really representing Route 66 and making us feel at home. Amazing service, amazing food and the best pie I’ve ever had. Complementary cup of coffee was excellent as well. Will be back

Charming spot with quick, friendly service. We ordered the Signature Country Fried Steak, Southwest Chicken Sandwich, and the popular Lilo’s Carrot Cake — all of which were absolutely delicious. We really enjoyed both the food and the relaxed, welcoming vibe of the restaurant. The carrot cake was on the denser side, but not overly sweet, which I personally appreciated.

Best restaurant I've been to in a very long time. I live an hour and a half away, but I stop every time I pass by. Food is absolutely amazing and portions are very generous. Staff is so friendly you feel like family. Dont forget to try the desserts. They are to die for. Thank you!

We stopped by Westside Lilo’s Cafe and had an overall great experience. The atmosphere is cozy and full of personality, and the service was warm, friendly, and attentive — it really made us feel welcome. We ordered their specialty, the country fried steak. It came out beautifully crispy and generously portioned, but the taste didn’t quite meet our expectations. What surprised us most was that the steak seemed to be made from minced meat rather than a whole cut — something we didn’t expect, and it gave the texture and flavor a bit of a meatloaf-like quality. The gravy was rich, but overall the dish wasn’t quite to our taste. Despite that, we really appreciated the overall experience. The sides were tasty, the service was lovely, and the diner-style vibe was very inviting. Worth a visit if you’re passing through and want to try a true local American spot.

Looking for good home cooking, large portions and great service. This is the place! Found this gem on the way to Gallup, NM. Stopped in for late lunch, early dinner. Located off I40 on the iconic highway 66 in Steigman, Arizona. Plenty of cars in the parking lot. Inside was decorated with highway 66 stuff and pictures of the owner with friends and family. A hint of German flair made it feel like gathering with family. A nice outdoor patio area. The cleanest bathroom I've ever seen in a restaurant. Meun is simple with a good variety to choose from. Servings are large and shareable. Many items are made in house, fresh and with love. We shared the turkey, bacon, avocado sandwich with fresh cut fries and a side salad. Sandwich came on hearty sourdough, turkey looked carved off the bird and thick, bacon was hearty too. Fries were fresh cut, delicious and hot. The house salad was decent size and filling. Prices are average and reasonable for what you get. They also feature homemade desserts. All of which looked delicious and fresh. Carrot cake is the most requested. As we were leaving the table next to us ordered a Philly steak sandwich and a Chili size, both looked delicious. This place was so good we stopped on our way home for breakfast. We ordered the chorizo and eggs and the eggs rancheros. Both came with choice of potatoes, we chose "those potatoes" over hash browns. "Those potatoes " are cubed potatoes with onions and bell peppers. A tortilla on the side and fresh, homemade salsa (which was delicious). The chorizo was flavorful with a kick. The eggs rancheros was served on a corn tortilla, homemade pork chili Verde nicely seasoned and tender, topped with eggs and served with "those potatoes" and refried beans. Delicious! Highly recommend this place. Save room for dessert or get one to go!

Power was out but we were still able to get their famous cinnamon roll and a piece of carrot cake. Cinnamon roll was very sweet. Carrot cake was the best we have had in ages.

This was a stop for us between Grand Canyon and Las Vegas. Great lunch - sandwiches were a plus as we were burgered out after our trip. Love the history - Lilo was born in Germany, met Pat while he was stationed there and they came back to his home place to open the diner. Excellent Carrot Cake. Perfect atmosphere as Cars was my son’s favorite movie growing up. The town sure knows how to survive!!

Yelp
Breakfast for Dinner [Seligman AZ] We were hankering for a breakfast meal (at dinner time). At first we stopped at the Roadkill Cafe but they did not serve breakfast but was suggested by the waitress that the restaurant across the street did. We apologized and headed here at Westside Lilo's Cafe. The restaurant was not too busy and we were led to a table for two. I ordered Country Fried Steak while the hubby just wanted a bowl of the soup of the day which was Pozole. He really liked the soup! My Country Fried Steak was crispy, hearty and smothered in a rich, beefy creamy gravy and topped with fried eggs. Delicious! Wish we had room for their world-famous carrot cake (as advertised on the signage outside). The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere and customer service was excellent, nice and friendly, we were well taken care of. There is an attached gift shop, wish I had time to browse through the unique souvenirs and charming logoed items. We would love to return and dine here again... Review #3702

Yelp
If you're staying in Seligman, this is a solid choice. If you're just passing through, there may be better options--but either way, the service here was great. The food was decent. I tried the chicken fried steak for something new, and it was fine. I preferred the brown gravy over the white. The veggies were a bit bland, but the mashed potatoes were good. The burger was decent, and the home-cut fries were okay (they offer different styles, like waffle-cut, which is a nice touch). Where this place really shines is dessert. The carrot cake slice is massive--super dense and full of warm holiday spice flavors. I do wish they offered me their cupcake version since the slice was so large, but it's perfect for sharing or taking to-go. The interior was clean and had the rustic, small-town decor you'd expect, complete with statement pieces and taxidermy mounts on the walls. If I ever find myself staying in Seligman again, this would probably be my go-to spot.

Yelp
Amazing service, decent food, a bit pricey. Definitely worth a stop if you're hungry in Seligman. Clean restrooms and amazing cut French fries.

Yelp
A good meal with great service and even better ambiance. We ordered the chicken fried steak and Lilo's famous burger. The pretzel bun was a nice touch on the burger. The food was good and our server was always coming by to check on us. I highly recommend the carrot cake. It was more dense than what I expected, but in the best way. I think a whole table could share it because between 2 of us, it took days for us to actually finish it! What was memorable to me was the outdoorsy theme of the restaurant with a German twist. It was the perfect vibe for a trip to the Grand Canyon. If you want some good diner-style food I highly recommend stopping here.

Yelp
If you are driving through Seligman Az, you must stop by and check out this restaurantWe were pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this coffee shop; the food and service are excellent, staff were friendly and inviting! The food was done right and freshly made! They also have a little gift shop with Route 66 merchandise and we got 2 cool mugs!

Yelp
The Flagge der Bundesrepublik Deutschland/Germany with its distinctive black, red, golden yellow horizontal stripes fluttering in the wind of Arizona high country caught my eye driving along old Route 66 in Seligman which means blessed man in German.  Westside Lilo Café with a gift shop featuring Route 66 memorabilia is closer to an American diner in terms of its menu with a bit of Mexican. There are only three German items: Bratwurst Sausage in a sour dough roll; Jäger Schnitzel; Schweine/pork Schnitzel and not Wiener Schnitzel since by definition, the meat must be veal. 1) I chose the Jäger Schweine Schnitzel which is pork pounded to a thin steak, lightly breaded and pan fried. Reminds me of the Italian Costoletta Milanese.  Jäger (yay gehr) means hunter, and this savory brown sauce is chockful of mushrooms which was traditionally from the German forests. This gravy has a satisfying brothy Umami.   Ordered accompanying French fries crispy, but due to the high heat, they came out dark brown and still not having that Belgian style twice fried light crispiness although I was told they were hand cut potatoes.  The mushy, dull green peas & carrots look as though they come out of a can from the 1950's. A mini roll rounded out the dish. The Jäger Schnitzel portion was fine.  Perhaps ditching the canned peas & carrots and replacing it with a little salad would be more refreshing. And brining the cut potatoes and frying them under lower heat twice would create better French fries.  2) Coconut Cream Pie: The light yellow filling was thickened, luscious, dairy rich. Standard pie crust a-ok. But the whipped cream tasted like coolwhip with a slight chemical after taste. I had to scrape it off which unfortunately also eliminated the toasted coconut flakes.  3) Carrot Cake Muffin was another matter. Cake is moist, soft, velvety. Sweetened and aromatic by brown sugar toastiness, touch of vanilla.  The off white cream cheese frosting is thick, creamy sweet, but the crowning flavour is a good dose of almond extract that adds a refreshing, nutty scent that makes this carrot cake so alluring. Half a walnut crowns the top.  2-3a) Iced Tea plain since I planned to drive all the way to L.A. right afterward. What impressed me was my waitress Kris and her dark haired working partner. When a huge crowd suddenly came in, they went into high gear coördinating their movements and strategies like well planned choreography.  Remembering many multiple orders, literally running from the kitchen window to various tables to deliver the right dish to each customer. Of course, there were customer requests to fulfill along the way.  All this was done with smiles and rushed friendly small talk. They are thoughtful, kind, charming, enthusiastic about their jobs which is so very refreshing and moving.  I jokingly told Kris that she didn't have to go to the gym.  Food here is good, but the two waitresses make coming to Westside Lilo a joy. Their warm banter among themselves & the customers make this a feel good place.  Earlier, they made time to give bons mots to an older gentleman who came every Tuesday like clockwork making him feel very welcome.  Truly the spirit of Route 66 is exemplified by these two "Laverne & Shirleys". This was around 6pm on April 9th 2024. One day after the total solar eclipse that swept through the U.S. farther east. So glad I experienced the love. Lilo, if you're reading this, please give them a well deserved raise if you haven't done so already.  "Geben Sie ihnen eine Gehaltserhöhung doch bitte." 5 stars for the kind service. The food although good, in this case, is incidental.

Yelp
Stopped by a nearby Western American restaurant for our last meal before heading to camp at Havasu Falls. The atmosphere was inviting, with a charming, rustic vibe. We started with the black bean sandwich, a vegetarian option that was surprisingly delicious. The southwestern chicken sandwich was good as well. The pork loin was okay, but the fries that came with each dish were disappointing--dry and tasting like they'd just come out of the freezer. On a brighter note, the cod fish and chips were a hit; the chips were so good I couldn't get enough, and the fish was cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, our experience took a downturn. Our server was hard to find, and basic requests for water refills and condiments went unmet. We eventually had to grab utensils from another table. After a long wait and asking other servers for help, our server finally reappeared, and we ordered the classic cheesecake and lemon meringue pie. Although they looked enticing, both desserts were dry and thick in consistency--not at all what we were expecting.

Yelp
Lilo's café is a welcoming diner/restaurant that offers a delicious selection of breakfast options, burgers, chili, steak, soups and more. The moment you walk in, you're welcomed by the hospitality of the staff and can seat yourself. I ordered the local's favourite which featured eggs of my choice, deliciously fried hash browns and soft biscuits. The biscuits weren't very flavourful and I felt the gravy to be more on the creamier side. The meatloaf sandwich was extremely good and I highly recommend. I highly recommend getting their famous Carrot Cake which was the MOST MOIST CARROT CAKE I've ever had! They had Guy Fieri's stamp of approval on the wall as well.

Yelp
Stopped by this cure little spot during our road trip. I was SICK of eating fast food for breakfast. I found this cafe on Yelp and it had good reviews, so we came. The food was delicious. I had the Locals Favorite with a side of bacon, and my honey had a custom omelette. The biscuits and gravy were made with love and you could taste it. Overall, We loved it all! Not to mention, the waitress Crystal was a sweetheart, she was on it and very attentive despite being the only waitress. We will for sure come back during another trip.

Yelp
Food was great and customer service was top tier. Great place to stop at on a road trip!

Yelp
The family and I had lunch at Westside Lilo's Cafe yesterday while making our way to Sedona. The cafe is located in the tiny Route 66 hamlet of Seligman, Arizona that brand's itself as being the birthplace of Route 66. We arrived before 1. The cafe was pretty busy with what seemed like a good mix of tourists and locals. Believe me, you can tell the difference. The staff were very friendly. Probably the friendliest we've ever encountered in one of these touristy roadside establishments. I was really surprised at the amount of items offered on the menu for such a small place. My wife ordered the Blooming Onion for the table which is what Westside Lilo's Cafe is known first besides their carrot cake. For our mains kiddo and I shared the beef dip and the Mrs. ordered the Patty Melt. We ordered fries as a side for both. The last time I had a blooming onion was probably 30 years ago at Outback Steakhouse. Westside Lilo's Cafe reminded me how such a simple onion can be turned into a culinary masterpiece. Each sliver of onion was perfectly fried and seasoned. The dipping sauce had a nice tang to it that worked well with the seasoning. I could have just eaten the onion and been fulfilled but would have needed ton of breath mints. The portion size on the beef dip was perfect for sharing. It was also flavorful and the Au Jus was perfectly seasoned. Swiss cheese can be added for an extra cost. The Mrs. enjoyed her Patty Melt. It was hearty like I'd expect it to be. She ate half and took the rest to go. The fries were good, just lacked a bit of salt which was an easy fix. We ordered a piece of carrot cake to go. The portion size could easily serve four people. I'm not a fan of carrots in general so I passed on trying it but there were no complaints.

Yelp
The food was amazing! We had the chicken club, bratwurst and the bratwurst burger- all delish and we were stuffed but still had to have dessert. The carrot cake and banana cream pie were 10/10. The service was fast and friendly, beer was good and they even brought water to the patio for our pup. Looking at property near here and if we buy, this will be a regular weekend spot. Lilo would be proud, she left behind an amazing legacy.

Yelp
Best kept secret. I stopped at this quaint cafe for breakfast on the way back to California and was pleasantly surprised. Very friendly staff, service was spot-on, food was hot, price was not surprising about $50 for breakfast for my wife and I.

Yelp
Food great, service fantastic, ambience just right. Passing through? We def recommend this great spot.

Yelp
A Culinary Treat on Route 66! Four years ago, I stumbled upon Westside Lilo's, a charming nook along Route 66. The memory lingered and I was excited to relive! Walking in, you're welcomed by a warm, comforting hometown vibe. On our visit, we selected the Southwestern Chicken Sandwich and the BOLT sandwich. It was melody of flavors, paired beautifully with the crispest, fresh hand-cut fries. I'm not one to indulge in dessert, but resisting the legendary Carrot Cake feels like a sin - it's a slice of heaven! The staff radiates warmth and attentiveness, creating an ambiance that's inviting. The small-town charm is the heart and soul of this off-the-beaten-path treasure. To all Route 66 travelers: chart your course to Westside Lilo's. You're in for a treat!

Yelp
Great food and great service, a hidden gem in the desert! Great pies too! A popular and fun place to eat.

M K.

Yelp
What a hidden gem! We came through town looking for a good couple cups of coffee. This restaurant was recommended by a souvenir shop down the road. We ended up ordering a carrot cake to share, along with our coffees. We've never had a better carrot cake in our lives! In fact, we've requested to order one by mail if possible for my birthday. Don't miss this place!

Sal D.

Yelp
Great food, fantastic service and they even made a pot of fresh, strong coffee for us. Great portions, fabulous bacon and friendly staff. My wife just commented, "Best breakfast we've had on the road in a long time" Definitely recommend!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Good food, great desserts (you can take them out and we did), a lot of kitsch, right on the old Route 66, really fun. Basically a diner, but great service and conversation. Recommended.

Yelp
Adding another review! We found this gem during the pandemic. We live in Las Vegas and, like today, we drive 2-1/2 hours to eat and then drive back. This is one of our absolute favorite restaurants! Today, it was packed. PACKED! So happy to see it thriving. The food is INCREDIBLE. The service is something special. A must go!!

Yelp
Literally best place to stop for food along Route 66! Home cooked meals,,super friendly staff, ridiculous carrot cake, & awesome Route 66 memorabilia. You'll thank yourself for stopping!

Yelp
For a diner on Old Route 66 - this place rocks. We had Fish & Chips with their soup of the day. AMAZING! The fish was crispy and flaky. The chips were just right. The soup was so tasty it was hard to stop eating to try more fish. But what was the most amazing was their deserts. I'm not usually a dessert person. But...Of course they have them in a huge display case (refrigerated) and talk about tempting. After our meal we were full, but we chose a desert to take home. WOW - their portion sized were enough that we took a few days to enjoy them. I would definitely return. One of the tempting aspects is they are located on the old Route 66. I love to travel bits and pieces of this road. It is fun.

Yelp
This is the BEST place to eat. Food always delicious and all homemade pies , potatoes salad and much more and known for BEST Carrot Cake.
google avatar

Mary F.

Yelp
We had a pancake breakfast and got the cake and cinnamon roll to go. The breakfast was more than enough for two of us to share and the desserts were enough for 6 people to share! Can't wait to be driving back to the West on I -40 so we can stop here again. Our server was very efficient and attentive!

Yelp
Westside Lilo's isn't perfect -- service on the patio was friendly but slow, and some of the dishes were pretty basic (e.g., the grilled-chicken entrée is served with no sauce, spice, etc.) -- but ordering dessert here changes everything. The signboard out front mentions the renowned carrot cake, but it doesn't do justice to the fact that the portion size equates to about a quarter of a Bundt cake. Not only that, but it's the moistest non-layer cake you'll come across and tastes completely homemade. It's hard to bake a thick cake to perfection, but they manage just that. The cherry pie is fantastic too, served at just the right "mild warm" temperature, with a flaky crust and the perfect amount of filling. Worth a visit, especially if you enjoy dessert!

Yelp
My wife and I were heading to the Grand Canyon and we made a pit stop for late lunch at Lilio's. We've been on the road and we were looking for a quick bite. We were so h appy we found this gem family restaurant. The food was fantastic and the service was superb. We haven't had comfort food like this in a long long time. It is worth the stop and im still dreaming about their chicken pot pie soup. We will miss this place as we head back home to East coast.

Yelp
I've been dining at Lilo's ever since moving to AZ seven years ago. It's a 120 mile drive from home, but it's a great place to take friends and relatives who come to AZ to check out Route 66, The Mother Road. I often find myself traveling to Flagstaff for work and I try to make time at least to take a slice of carrot cake and a cinnamon roll home. The food is good, the portions large, and the staff friendly and professional. I have never been able to finish a meal here, taking at least part of it home. My only disappointment in the entire seven years was yesterday's cinnamon roll. The rolls are humongous, and one can easily satisfy three people if eaten all at once. Yesterday, however, the one I ordered to take home was dry and hard. It was not soft and chewy and it did not have the amount of icing I am accustomed to getting on a Lilo's cinnamon roll. Even the center, the gooiest and most flavorful part, was dry; the outer part of the roll was almost inedible. I deducted a star from this rating because of the cinnamon roll, but the carrot cake I brought home was fantastic as usual! My hot beef sandwich was made with quality beef, the mashed potatoes and gravy were perfect. Again, my only disappointment was the cinnamon roll. I'm sad because those cinnamon rolls were the reason people suggested I try Lilo's in the first place!

Yelp
We didn't come in with high expectations, but this restaurant definitely surprised us with their delicious food! I ordered the philly cheesesteak sandwich and it really hit the spot as it was packed with flavor. The desserts were amazing as well- we got the banana cream pie and the carrot cake. The banana cream pie was pretty good, but the standout was definitely the carrot cake. The texture and flavor was spot on and we ate every bite of the huge serving. Service was attentive and friendly.

Yelp
Amazing food and extremely friendly staff! Casual fun atmosphere. The desserts are homemade and look amazing! (I was too full to try) Be sure to ask for Chanelle... "she is the sh!t!"

Yelp
Stopped here on our way back to Los Angeles and glad we did. They have pretty good food, everything was delicious! Their customer service is exceptional! Our waitress was so nice and friendly and watching over hearing the rest of the staff they were too as well! This place has top tier standards and I really respect that. I went on Yelp to see what was good and read a lot of reviews about their carrot cake so I had to get one to go. Let me tell you the reviews are absolutely correct, the carrot cake is beyond delicious! I have never in my life had carrot cake as good as it's here! I'm disappointed that I didn't get more because now it's too far to drive back to lol try the carrot cake or Atleast get one to go you'll thank me later! This place is great, stop here and support their business! They also have a lot of pretty cool stuff on the walls you can look at while waiting/eating.

Yelp
Of all the little Diners and small restaurants - this has been my favorite. Why you ask ? The Wiener schnitzel !! Omg it was good. My family was happy w their choices but let's talk about that perfect as perfect gets Wiener schnitzel ; cooked perfectly. Exact about of crispness and the lemon sauce .... I want another one thinking about it. I only wish I took a picture.

Yelp
After the debacle of food choices in Williams that should have had me losing ten pounds instead of gaining, we braved the suddenly untrustworthy Yelp reviews and tried Westside Lilos. We were not disappointed in any way! I had the breakfast special I shared with my toddler. The bacon was crisp and amazing, like a smoky fat less wonder, the hash browns were amazing and the pancakes were some of the best I had ever tried. My son had the strawberry pancakes with real whip cream which was a perfect size for him. His apple juice came in a bottle which was great because he could take it for the road trip. When Alley, the server said the table was dirty and she would wipe it clean it was indeed spotless. The bathrooms were equally spotless which was surprising in such a packed roadside place. The kitchen was also impeccable. We shared a table with some pretty awesome grandparents from Beaumont who I would have happily picked for a third set for my own kids. Perhaps nothing to do with the restaurant, but the overall environment here was just happy, and very busy. The only down side was my egg was a bit cold, but it was still cooked perfectly and went well with my pancake. When I looked on the wall and saw Guy Fiery smiling down at our table, I knew I had chosen well. After all, we did accidentally dine together on the North Shore of Hawaii once, and who better to give his approval than Diner Jesus. Maybe not traditional for thanksgiving, but it was our best meal on this thanksgiving vacation. 5 Stars for Alley, the server and the restaurant.

Yelp
Talk about your local eatery being quality vs quantity. This place hits the spot and thensome. Homemade pies, cakes and meals. The atmosphere alone makes you feel at home, but the staff itself is the cherry of the cake. The cooks are quick and portions are WORTHY. Sherry was amazing, thanks for all. CANNOT WAIT to come back. Best banana cream pie also.

Yelp
What a great mom and pop restaurant in Seligman, AZ. Breakfast was great, hashbrowns crispy just like we like them!! Homemade biscuits and gravy!!! We have been here a few times, and once convinced a group of corvettes to drive 300 miles for a piece of their fantastic carrot cake!!! The dining room is decorated in southwest along with a deer head surveying the room. The server was exceptional, taking order, serving, refilling coffee at just the right time, and adding country friendliness!! A cute little gift shop is behind the cashier with fair priced items!! We are definitely returning!

Yelp
Best carrot cake I have ever tasted! The cake was moist and the frosting was perfect. They don't skimp on size either. We also tried the banana chocolate cream pie which had real pieces of banana. We heard from a few people this was a must stop for dessert when driving through Seligman and I'm so glad we did. The service was excellent. I can't wait to drive through again so we can try the food (we had eaten prior and were too full to eat.)

Yelp
Stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. At 7:30, there were just a few locals and myself. Within an hour, there were probably 15 more people (tourists). Lilos is like stepping back in time, and you can imagine what it was like when RT 66 was a main route. The service, food, and coffee was excellent. As you can tell by the pic, you couldn't fit another thing on the plate. The temp of the food was great, with nothing cold or even cool. It is the best Country Fried Steak and Gravy I've had, and being from the Southeast U.S., that's saying something. Definitely recommend, and will be back.

Yelp
This place is a nice cafe with open patio serving American fares like burgers. They also have a good breakfast menu too. Went here for breakfast and it's really good. Portion size is nice too. Their pancakes are very delicious! The server was also very nice and friendly. You definitely get the friendly small town vibe! Definitely recommend if in the area.

Yelp
Great CarrotCake and Schnitzel! You know it's good because it's always packed full! Get to the dessert stand early cuz the pies and cakes go fast!!

We were going to Road Kill Cafe but hardly any cars (2) and so we looked across the street and seen this place had a-lot of cars so we ate here and so glad we did .. one of the best veggie burger I've had and the fries are homemade too .. thank you for a great lunch passing through! It was really busy so understandable about the wait time with the waitress but not too bad .

Yelp
We love the country fried steak. A very unusual restaurant. The town is a tourist attraction that definitely needs a drive through. Short and interesting

Yelp
The staff is wonderful. The food is amazing, the proportions are good and the carrot cake is the best I've ever had in my life. I pay people to stop here when they are passing by Seligman on route 66 in route to Needles, California. It is to die for.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, big portions of breakfast, best of all friendly staff! Right on Rt. 66 convenient to local motels and fun gift shops with vintage displays. A small town full of fun!

Yelp
Came here the day we got out of Havasupai for dinner and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. I'm a huge outdoor fan so the big game taxidermy was beyond impressive. The restaurant is a mix of German meets Western, meets outdoors in the 50's with a modern vibe to it - sounds crazy? Well, let me say it mashed pretty well together in a non-tacky way. We were hungry for real food after only having freeze dried food from the hike, so we ordered what sounded good on the menu and boy it didn't disappoint. We ordered the following from the menu: Jäger Schnitzel - cooked great not dry. The mushroom gravy was flavorful and the homemade french fries (with skin on) was delicious. Liver and Onions - liver was seasoned well and the sautéed onions on top was just caramelized enough where you can taste the sweetness of the onion. T-bone Steak - we asked for it to be prepared medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. Pink in the middle and the meat just melts in your mouth. Not chewy at all. Carrot Cake - YES! We had some room left (intentionally) for the carrot cake. It was AMAZING. The texture was great - moist and not overly sweet. And it was HUGE! Will definitely recommend and will for sure come back when we travel this part of Arizona again.

Yelp
This was by far the best stop for food on our road trip to/from the Grand Canyon. The food and service were terrific. We enjoyed an omelette and breakfast burrito which came out fast and hot. Don't miss out on this restaurant when searching for a good place to eat.

Yelp
Every time we are on vacation at our ranch about 35 minutes from Seligman we ALWAYS hit up Lilo's for breakfast. The food is consistently delicious and the portions are perfectly sized. The service is as friendly as you would think a small town diner would be. My personal favorite is the huevos rancheros, their pork verde is delicious and don't forget to get "those potatoes" country potatoes with bell peppers. Now... if for nothing else you have to get a piece of their homemade carrot cake... I guarantee you, you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
American and German food, with good portion sizes. I would eat here again, the ambiance is welcoming, warm, and with outside seating options. The portions and prices are fair. The staff is so friendly and hard working. We enjoyed the southwestern burger $17 and Lilos burger $15. Tasty patty and delicious home made fries and ranch !
