Westwood Shores Waterfront Resort

My family and I stayed at the Westwood Shores Resort this past weekend. Our room was very clean and cozy! Spent both nights using the pool and hotub which were both well maintained. Staff at the front desk were very friendly. We will definitely be back!

This was a wonderful find! Our unit had everything we needed and a great view. The entire resort was CLEAN - our unit, hallways, pool, grounds, etc. - and we have high standards for where we stay. Didn't use the kitchen much but would be great for families, and summer water activities. Staff was very nice and resort was quiet. Convenient location to Sturgeon Bay.

So clean. Such beautiful view. The indoor pool and hot tub were wonderfully maintained. Small fitness room was also decent. One each treadmill, elliptical, and stationary bike. Also had weights, both pulley and free weights.

This resort is amazing. The view is absolutely beautiful, it was immaculate, and the staff were all welcoming and friendly. It was also very quiet, we didn’t hear any noise at night. It was only about a 30 minute drive to visit some of the other areas, so we always loved coming back to the resort. We absolutely loved our stay.

Heaven. I didn't imagine it would be so beautiful the views from the room. So cozy with the fireplace, and robes for after enjoying the massive and HOT shower. Haven't even tried the pool or hot tub yet my room is so nice, but I've seen others enjoying it. And it is SILENT. If you want a peaceful break, this is it.

This is my favorite place to stay in Door County. Love the 2 bedroom suites for families and outdoor pool with the lake and sunset in the background. I wish I could enjoy sunsets here every night. There is a big backyard to play on overlooking the lake as well. I love they also have kayaks and a paddle boat to take out on the bay. Every room has an amazing view of the lake and sunset. I especially favor though one of their premier rooms. The best cup of coffee in the morning and wine at night is enjoyed on your own private patio overlooking the sunset on the lake. I also enjoy grilling dinner and eating together on the patio as the sun sets. The entire property is always clean, well kept and the staff are always very friendly. Annie and Luke are always a welcoming face to see when we visit each year. I mentioned to Luke the propane was running low on our last visit and he was wondering if I wanted it switched out right now. Explained no. We already started the grill and should be good tonight. I would check it though for the weekend. The next morning as I was having coffee on the patio viewing the lake, boats and pelicans maintenance was doing the daily outdoor rounds of cleaning the nights spider webs and lake flies off everything, checking the pool and saw him change out the propane :) Love the fully stocked kitchen in our room and stopping at the grocery store and Marchants Meats for food to grill. We have stayed here 3 times all during the summer and have next year booked already. Book your next stay while you are here and get a discount on that stay. I would love to come back during the off season and see a different side of this beautiful place and enjoy the indoor pool and hot tub on a cold winter day.

Very nice recently renovated resort about 5 minutes north of the town of Sturgeon Bay. Indoor and outdoor pools and right on the lake for swimming. The people there are very nice and accommodating. We stayed in a 1 BR suite with a good bathroom, kitchen and a wonderful view of the sunset over Lake Michigan. It’s not far from the other towns in Door County with plenty of good restaurants. If we’re ever back in Door County we will be back. Good value!

What an amazing property! It is lush with beautiful flowers, and our room had the most beautiful view of the lake. Our room was more like an apartment than a hotel room. It had a well appointed full kitchen with a kitchen bar to sit at. The living room was comfortable (again with the gorgeous view). The bedroom was super comfortable, and the bathroom was fine. The air conditioning worked very well, so we were very comfortable. |We went for a nice swim and jacuzzi. Also, we ended up doing laundry here, and that was nice having it on site. |We stayed here for three days, and it was a perfect location to explore Door County. We would stay here again and highly recommend it.
