Tons of awesome finds! There's vintage clothing and jewelry if that's something you're interested in. There's an AMAZING French pastry vendor there. Very nice guy, and the cinnamon buns are to die for! They're like a cross between a cinnamon roll and a croissant. I made sure to stock up the last time I went. There's lots of beautiful produce to choose from. Super fresh and organic too! The berries in particular are MASSIVE and sweeter than what you'd find in stores. There's a jam, nut butter stand that also sells a variety of dried fruit. The jams and nut butter options aren't just your run of the mill flavors either. It's definitely a cool way to spend your Thursday afternoon 😁

Great weekday farmer's market, perfectly timed for lunch. Got rough for a bit during COVID-19 but now the vendor turned out is back in full force, for produce stands as well as both cold and hot food.

I went to El Sandwish Cubano. Really good sandwiches. I had the Cubano. Tasted great, made to order. The guy that runs the shop is friendly. Please support his business. Food is good.

Fresh fruit and vegetables, and lots of other goodies at fair prices. Open on Thursday. Good location.

edit to add 5 stars again because things have been MUCH better. Vendors are fine. management sucks. information station is always empty and if you need to use EBT, you have to wander around the whole market and flag down a person to help. as a disabled person relying on EBT, this means I can't always get help. I leave empty handed frequently. not accessible, not inclusive, not ok.

One of my favorite Farmer's Markets in LA. It has great food and stands. The pupusas are a must, the Greek hummus and dips are amazing and the fruits and veggies are always fresh and great. They have some gluten free baked goods too and some amazing options to bring home for dinner. They always have fresh pressed juices and other great options for olive oils and fun stuff switching in and out too. The only downsides are A. It's in the middle of the day on a Thursday and B. The parking is hard and the garage gets full, if you do get lucky there's a parking garage that offers 2 hours free and there is street parking. If you shop at Whole Foods there is a lot but they don't share with the market so don't get caught. However I love Westwood Village it's a great place to walk around for lunch or to have an afternoon and their Market isn't crazy crowded so you can actually enjoy it with great vendors too. If you can get there or go on a lunch break or at the end of your day it's worth it.

A colleague had shared with me that we have a Thursday Farmer's Market in Westwood. If there's one thing I love, it's a Farmer's Market! I made it a point to swing by this past Thursday to check it out. It's much smaller than my Studio City Sunday FM but I found a few of my favorites from Sunday and a ton of new yummy spots that I'll try in coming weeks/months. Oscar with Arnett Farms is here, you'll be hard pressed to find better fruit ANYWHERE! I love the dried fruit, plum fruit strips, and nuts too. I grabbed an iced Spanish latte, and a caramel corn/kettle corn mixed bag. I'll definitely be adding this Thursday market into my rotation. The crowd was what really stood out to me. It was a nice change for an empty nester like me to be able to peruse a Farmer's Market that isn't heavily focused on families with small kids - which is what Studio City is. Sometimes a girl just wants to be around Adults at a Farmer's Market. You'll find a great adult crowed here, with many locals that seemingly all work around the UCLA area which was really nice to see. I think I'm picking up a new orchid for my office next week and planning ahead with a reusable bag so I can carry a bunch of goodies back.

For a local, weekday, lunchtime-to-afternoon farmers' market, Westwood Farmer's Market does a pretty good job. They aren't the largest, but they have enough size to have competition, with a decent amount of produce and cooked food vendors along with usual bread, pastries, trinkets, etc. There is not a ton of seating for those seeking tamales or dim sum or crepes or whatnot, but since local office workers and UCLA employees seem to be most of the crowd, that's not a big deal as they can all go back to their lunchrooms and desks to eat.

In the heart of Westwood on a Thursday, you can attend a farmers market! Not the best farmers market but a place we're you can stroll and grab some food! There are some stands for lunch: ice cream, sandwiches, Cuban sandwiches, dim sum and more! Plus there are a couple of vegetable stands. Some stands selling jewelers. The most interesting stand was selling menus from iconic restaurants. What a unique item! Worth a stroll if in the are but I wouldn't go out of my way to attend!

Lucky enough to be in Westwood on a Thursday afternoon, I decided to attend the farmer's market. This is one of my favorite Farmer's Markets for several reasons: 1) It's in the afternoon on a weekday. Most, but not all, Farmer's Markets are open during the weekend in the morning. I love the long hours here: 12-5pm. I wonder if the hours change in the winter when the days are longer though because in my last review, which was a couple years back they were open until 6pm. Nevertheless, the hours are great! 2) Produce here looked fresher than at the market. The prices were about equal however, the produce today was absolutely gorgeous. 3)They have vegan options! I spotted at least two vegan vendors. One was selling vegan ice cream. I didn't get a chance to stop there. But I did get a chance to visit Magick Goods Cookies (website: magickgoods.com). Beautiful and delicious tasting vegan cookies. We bought the matcha flavor but she also had classic options like salted chocolate chip. The vendor was super nice. 4)There's a good variety of vendors to choose from here from produce, to almond butter, to ready made food. I even spotted some clothing for sale. This place has it all. There's also a good amount of vendors. It takes up an entire block. 5)I love supporting local small businesses. I love hearing the stories of the individuals who grow or make the food. There is truly something more special about shopping in a farmer's market than in a regular market. Shout out to Ayala Farms (IG @ayalafarms) for their beautiful produce and Dolce Monachelli's (website: https://www.dolcemonachellis.com/) for their delicious Italian butter rum mini bundt cake! Can't wait to go back!

I scored amazing parking on Lynbrook and Westwood that already had 15 minutes on it so I decided to walk over. I've been coming here for years and the vendors change quite often, I don't know if that is a problem of the organizers of this market or vendors leaving. some thing I do notice this time around having not been here for about eight months is that the vendors are more than food and produce, there's a lot of natural clothing as well as art and that's not something that they had before. Well, in the past they may be had one clothing vendor, one person who sold essential oils and candles, and then maybe one that sold natural soaps but now there is a lot more and I think that that is great especially for all the UCLA students as well as those that like to support small business. I bought some beautiful crystal earrings in addition to some yummy pastries. Of course I'll be back! ‍

Mark... In answer to your question... There are very few produce stands, 3 or 4 if I remember correctly. I would like to see more produce offerings, such as a mushroom stand, as one idea. The state offers so much.

This is really a great farmers market. To anyone who has not been, do yourself a favor and go. Great vendors who have been super helpful

I was there to check out vegan options for a friend that would be visiting from England. There were lots of options! I had just eaten lunch so didn't try them but I did try the homemade ice cream at the market, for dessert! It was delicious. It's a nice farmers market. It wasn't in the cards for vegan friend but for anyone that's vegetarian or vegan, I'm sure they would be happy with the options.

Kind of odd actually walking through this farmers market. Even though it's not as huge as others, there's still plenty of vendors on hand. But not exact his time. With everything all covid, I assume most vendors are still taking the safety precautions and staying home. Honestly didn't think it was back and running. Well, with the few vendors that braved it. I believe there was a handful maybe 8 vendors that was working today. Most were spread out from each other that u didn't even know they were vendors. Most of the booth was near the front with the few was scattered throughout. Give or take 3 maybe 4 produce table, a baker table, a juice table, the orchid table and maybe a gift vendor. Not was it use to be but people are slowly and surely trying to get back to normal.

The Westwood Farmer's Market has a healthy variety of produce, pastries, household items and flowers! They've even got a cool local juice vendor that sells fresh squeezed juices without any added sugars. The Westwood Farmer's Market is around every Thursday starting late morning to around 4 or 5pm in the evening. Even if you're not interested in buying any local produce, it's a nice pit stop on your way to your next destination filled with a friendly and casual atmosphere.

[Review #162] I've been here several times but I prefer Torrance's farmers market because it's a larger location & it also serves food/snacks. On one of my earlier visits (back in 2014), I saw for the 1st time there's a pet adoption: Best Friends Pet Adoption & Spay/Neuter Center. This adorable tan & white chihuahua was yipping pretty loud & caught my attention. S/he kept eye contact & followed me from its cage... it broke my heart. I wish I could adopt it but I can't... we don't have a yard, & we have a feisty cat that might not get along with the dog. I haven't seen them this past year... probably because this is not the best venue for adoptions & most of the visitors are working so they can't bring the dog back to the office. ;-) Some of my favorite farmers (like Arnett Farms) from Torrance are also here, so when I miss my Tuesday or Saturday visit, I can buy my fruits & veggies here. I usually double up from both locations during the summer season for sweet & succulent white peaches, strawberries, pluots, & white cherries. Enjoy!

Just happened to stumble across this Farmers Market today, and I have to say it was really nice. It's not very big, but they have lots of great produce and food stands, including a couple of vegan and raw vegan stands, which is always a plus. I saw a few unique things that I haven't seen at other Farmers Markets, so I'll definitely have to return. It wasn't very crowded, and with the weather being nice, it was actually rather peaceful and a nice little stroll. 094/100

Farmers market here is open every Thursday. You'll see regular vendors when it comes to fruits and vegetables. Lately they've been adding more food vendors. The dumpling food stand always runs out of the pork buns. So it must be good right. It actually is. So you should try it. The blueberries are quite bigger. My tip before you buy any fruits from the first stall you see, just walk around and check out the other fruit stands with regards to the price you might find a better deal.

Westwood Village Farmers Market on Thursdays from Noon to 6:00 PM is my new go-to now that I live in the 90024. Do I miss the Beverly Hills Sunday market in my old 90210 digs? Sure, but I can still do both. Westwood Village Thursday market is small, definitely not to be compared with Santa Monica's Wednesday market. But nevertheless, well culled, as in good things come in small packages, AND if I have to work until 5:00 PM there's still time to take a short walk for fresh dinner veggies just like the UCLA students/faculty/staff and other area office workers do. Big plus for convenience! Shop with a steel drum backbeat in the air to gather fruit (cherries are in season), veggies (avocados for sure), authentic Italian products, roasted corn and yams, AND don't forget cut flowers for your table or an orchid for your bedside. My first visit, being well stocked on fruits and veggies, I focused on flowers to find both eucalyptus and statice (a.k.a. sea lavender), which, as per the floral vendor can be hung stems up, dried to stay "green". Next time. This time both became two bouquets in water filled vases. Next time I'll let Westwood Village Farmers Market influence dinner! If you don't live or work in the 90024, take advantage of the first two hours free in a public parking lot. Congrats if you find a meter AND please let me know where :-)

Probably the smallest farmers I've been to, yet I'm here every Thursday, never fails. Free public parking is available. There are tons of spots to eat in the area but I always stop by Papis Roasted Corn for well CORN 2.50$ so great plus the toppings/add ons which are free of charge?! There's also an Orchid spot with beautiful orchids I always try negotiating w/ the woman but pay the posted price haha. Also the other flower stand they also prepare special arrangements very helpful! Beautiful selection Oh and the Bolani if you have not tried it I highly recommend the spinach Bolani, my BF is afghan so I've had Bolani before. Tip: toast it! Try it with the "yogurt dip" which is awesome dip im a fan of the Basil Pesto and my BF likes garlic mint cheese so must haves. The sales man "Hamad" (not sure if that's the spelling) is also very sweet! And friendly. I'm also always tempted to adopt a puppy when I stop by the best friends adoption spot they also have kittens! What I'll probably give a try the next round is the BBQ spot smells uber amazing when we walk by. But there's so many dining options food coma waiting to happen!

This was super fun and super great! Felt very safe during Covid, and a great selection of fresh fruits and veggies and other specialty food items you would expect at a farmers market. There was also a stand called "Pastries by Eddie - Boule de Pain" that had delicious baked goods! I got the Pear Almond pound cake and it was AMAZING!! Sweet and delicious, perfect consistency, and not too heavy. I would call it a light and moist pound cake. Felt like I was at a fancy tea party while eating it. It was great. :)

This is a smaller venue but they have a really good variety of vendors. So happy the Dim Sum house recently joined. Fruit stands are good and I love the Homeboy corn and jalapeno bread loaf. They have also added a lady that creates beautiful succulent arrangements. The highlight is the kettle corn! Piping hot fresh popcorn always available.

I live nearby this farmer's market and have shopped frequently before the virus. It is pretty small and never crowded, I have been able to find some fresh fruits and vegetables even though there is only a few booths. Today I was there and only 2 vendors were wearing masks while they were touching food. A few had no masks at all until I reminded them. I wanted to go to the manager, but nobody could find the manager. Nothing is being watched here. The person in this picture only would wear the mask under her nose and around her mouth. I will not recommend and would not return to this market again as in this pandemic it is a dangerous place!

The Westwood Farmer's Market is small, but fun. Like most farmer's markets, they have a selection of produce stands. Because other farmer's markets have those, I won't provide much information about them; just know they're there if you want fruits/vegetables. There are also a collection of other types of booths. One booth sells breads, while another sells clothes, and yet another sells cosmetics. There is a varied selection, although due to the market's smallness there is usually only one of each vendor for these other types of products. Therefore, you can probably find what you need, but you might pay a higher price due to the lack of competition. Outside of the product stands, my favorite booths are the following (pictured): - Bolani booth: This booth sells Bolani, which is a flatbread filled with lentils, spinach, pumpkin, or potatoes. I like these flatbreads because they can make up a meal while only being ~200 calories each. There are two flatbreads in a package and they sell for $6 a pack. The booth also sells a variety of hummus and other dips/sauces, but I haven't tried any. - Dolce Monachelli's: The Dolce Monachelli's booth sells a variety of small bundt cakes. They will draw you in with a sample of their delicious Italian Butter Rum cake, making it difficult for you to resist getting more. They have a variety of flavors, including different types of chocolate and fruity flavors, and sell their cakes for $4 each (with discounts if you buy multiple.) - Kettle Corn: The kettle corn booth sells delicious kettle corn. Not much else to say about it - it's regular kettle corn, but delicious! Overall, I enjoy visiting the Westwood Farmer's Market on a weekly basis. It's close to where I work and it usually has the items I need. I'll knock off a store, however, due to the market's small size, which underscores the fact that many of the stands are more expensive than the nearby stores.

I enjoyed the stands and vendors but feel America is going the wrong way with farmers markets. This is recommended for people living local and not for people who love farmers markets with great sales. As I remember a vendor was selling blood oranges and I walked to whole foods and saw the exact same price for many similar items. And that is bad. I have been to hundreds of farmers markets in 33 countries and this is one of a few I did not but anything from. It may be the location that drives the prices up..

I happened upon this market here this Sunday morning, on my search for a decent bakery and a strong cup of coffee. This seems to be the newest location for the moveable Westwood Farmer's Market, as construction in the area has caused it to uproot a few times already. Now situated on Broxton, that narrow and quasi car free street that exists briefly between Weyburn and Kinross, it's a small venue, on the scale of the Venice Farmer's market. After my breakfast at Le Pain Quotidien across the sidewalk, I wandered down past the various stalls, eyeing the fresh and simple produce. A kid's face paint booth, DJ Greg mixing tunes, shoppers strolling, baby carriages doubling as shopping carts, it was a pleasant way to spend some time. As the morning progressed, restaurants slowly set up for the day. This market must add to their business, judging by a few of the shoppers walking in, bags in tow. Fresh produce in hand, I headed out, back to the beach.

A fun wandering place for a Thursday afternoon. Fairly small, this farmer's market is focused on produce and some artisanal food products, though there are usually florists and jewelry stalls too. Lately more seating has been added so you can actually sit and eat what you buy, which is good. However, the street is pretty small and congested, making it difficult sometimes to get a good look at everything.

This is not a great Farmer's Market, by any stretch. In LA, where every small city, province, and neighborhood has their own Farmer's Markets, one would expect Westwood to have a pretty good one. But it simply doesn't. The whole market consists of less than ten booths selling various fruits and vegetables. There are no hot food items, and it is in a bad location. That being said, I can't bring myself to give a Farmer's Market less than 4 stars. Essentially, it's a group of people coming together to sell you some very fresh and very reasonably priced produce. How can that be wrong? Yes, some are better than others, but it's still a good thing overall and should be encouraged. Also, the people working here were very nice.

I've been in Westwood longer than I'd like to admit, and this used to be the BEST farmers' market. It was on the corner of Weyburn and Glendon (where the apartment complex/Trader Joe's is now) and was always packed full of vendors, musicians, tables to sit at, and people. Fast forward several years and disagreements of where it should be held, and although I'm glad to finally have one back in the Village, it just isn't what it used to be. It seems like a catch 22.... not enough stalls because people don't attend, and people don't attend because of not enough stalls. There aren't many produce stands, and the food stands I loved are gone. But I see it gradually improving, and I really hope that more students, staff and residents come by so that vendors will find it profitable to be here. Anyway, my recs are: - the roasted corn stand... give them $2.50, get a huge corn cob on a stick, cover that sucker in mayo, then parmesan, then garlic salt, lemon pepper chili, and whatever else your heart desires. Prepare for the happiest few moments of your day. - The stand with the hummus, tzatziki, pita chips, and lots of other Middle Eastern goodies. The guy is really cool and will encourage you to sample anything, and everything is freshly made and delicious. - The mini bundt cake stand! The hours are perfect for lunch breaks, after class or after work (12-7), and you can park in the Broxton lot for free for an hour. I really hope this farmers' market is restored to its former glory! I hope you support it too!

This review is for the pupusas stand. Ever since they began offering pupusas, I try to go every Thurs. I mean you can barely get anything that authentic and ethnic in westwood. The loroco and revueltas are classics that you should try. Given that it's in westwood, they of course have a veggie option...I tried it and it was very flavorful. The chorizo is also good, though I'm not sure if I would get it again. Make sure to get extra curtido! (translation for curtido= pickled cabbage)

nice if you are in the area but too small to be a destination farmer's market. the easy free 2 hour parking is a plus, on the north end of the market.

I LOVE THIS FARMERS MARKET! As a busy UCLA student with a lack of incentive to venture out to larger farmers market for fresh produce, this one is conveniently located in the heart of Westwood! And despite being on the smaller side, it's definitely charming and fun to stroll through on Thursdays. My guilty pleasures are the roasted corn, and the jerk chicken bowl (amazing!!). I come here for the lunch alone and occasionally for interesting items like pound cakes, peaches, and locally sourced honey. Once I even saw someone selling improvised poems on a typewriter! Pretty cool.

This is a rather small farmer's market, but it has a decent variety of stands (prepped foods, snacks, flowers, produce, plants, clothes, trinkets). Very convenient location for UCLA students. Quality of the produce is only okay. Of course these are smaller farms that often grow many different vegetables/fruits so they're not going to be specialized in growing flawless softball-sized tomatoes or grapefruit-sized oranges. Prices are decent and the sellers are friendly. I was happy to find purple yam, bok choy, Gai-Lan, Chinese broccoli, and daikon here. Support small farms!

This is my Thursday treat. Specifically the roasted corn guys. You'll find it among the organic fruits, BBQ meats (though these are slim in the veggie-heavy loving Westwood area). The market is on Broxton (or whatever that street is called that isn't weyburn) Nothing like a nice stroll and "Oh look at the art!" (chomp on the toasty toasty buttery corn) "Wow those strawberries are uh-maze-ing!" (chompy corn chomp) A really nice place for an afternoon bit of leisure.

Awesome weekly local flavor of Westwood/UCLA. Every Thursday, local farmers and businesses come out to Broxton (near Chipotle/5 Guys, etc) and put on this Farmer's Market. When I have a break from work or get out early and wanna do a stroll around Westwood, I would stop this place and check out the scene. If you are driving, the farmer's market is right next to the parking structure that is 2 hours free (if you enter before 6 PM). The market closes at 6 PM anyways One thing I really like is the abundant free samples of fruits and unique cultural food. One time, I got to try the bolani samples that the booth was displaying. Their spreads are delicious! I would definitely suggest you to buy that as a healthy snack for work/class.

Don't come here expecting something like the Santa Monica Farmer's Market. That was my expectation, which was soon quashed. Open every Thursday from 12:00 - 6:00, this 'farmer's market' has a few fruit and veggie stalls, but also a mix of food booths that offer crepes, Korean food, kettle corn, and a few other miscellaneous food places. I would like to see a few more actual fruit and veg vendors to make it a proper farmer's market. I'll give it three stars 'cos I support things local.k I will check it out again in the future - after the holidays - when I'm needing to stock up on produce again.

Not the best farmers market on this side of town, but not bad for a quickie. Love the roasted corn and bbq if you can stop by during lunch hour.

Although this farmer's market is pretty small and doesn't offer as much as the larger farmer's market, I actually really enjoy it. I ALWAYS over spend, but because the offerings are a bit smaller here, I usually just get what I need. Few pluses: - THE ELOTE!!!!!!! ERMGAH Roasted Corn, all day - Free parking @ the Broxton Structure for 2 Hours! (It can get crowded, so be aware) - I love the flower stand; He has such good arrangements for $5! - The fruit/vegetable stand in the very front of the market facing kinross has THE best eggs. Believe me, i've tried Santa Monica/Mar Vista Farmer's Markets and these are the best in terms of quality! (and cheapest!) Also, their fruit/veggie selection is pretty cheap - They have a farm that specializes in asian veggies, so it's always nice to pick up a few things - They carry Homeboy industries bakery! Cons: - It's small, so you may have to run to sprouts for a few of your veggie offerings - The hot food isn't so great (besides the roasted corn stand) Overall, I come here every week and buy my groceries and am very happy with the quality!

I stumbled upon this market one night on my way to dinner with some friends in Westwood. I picked up some strawberries (3 packs for $5) and some peaches and I've been dreaming about that place ever since. I finally went to pick up some more fruit yesterday - a way better deal than the Santa Monica Virginia Park Farmer's Market. The peaches are fresher and the strawberries cheaper at Westwood for sure. The market is pretty limited in selection and definitely small. But I appreciate the prices and the convenience of it being in Westwood. Also, all the farmers/vendors were pretty friendly. This will definitely be a regular trip for me. =)

Brentwood definitely wins this battle for local farmer's market. It's sad but true, the Westwood farmer's market is no destination spot. That being said, the produce is always 10x better than the neighborhood Ralph's and Trader Joe's (Best Tangelos everrrr at the orange stand in January), so for UCLA students like me, and other people that live close by, it's a fun thing to do if you're already walking around Westwood on a Wednesday. As of now, they also have added some hot food (Thai), and sell yummy pita bread and these awesome little cakes. I still advocate sustainability and supporting local farmers, so 5 stars for your produce and effort, Westwood Farmer's Market, and maybe a few less stars for the selection.

It's gotten a lot better since they moved the time to Wednesdays 5-8PM. The whole Sundays thing just wasn't cutting it....who was going to be out on a Sunday morning, in a college town? Now, they can catch all the traffic of people getting off work, which is great because the place becomes a lot more lively, in my opinion. =) Since the switch in time, too, there have been a few more stands opening up, and some people at the sidewalks singing country or making balloons. It still isn't as great as it once was when it was on Weyburn behind Ralphs, but it's still pretty good compared to the Sunday schedule. Also, I find their produce to be cheaper than the FMs at Santa Monica and Beverly hills. I got a big bunch of parsley for $1, and there is this fruit stand that has the sweets, most delicious grapes at $2/lb! I always make it a point to get some grapes and herbs on my way home on Wednesdays.

I work in Westwood so I usually walk through the Farmers Market on Thursday's starting at 12. This FM is relatively small. If you're in the area and are looking for a quick bite or some fresh produce, you'll find it here. Today I got a pupusa and agua fresca from the Pupusas Salvadorenas stand and everything tasted amazing. I confirmed that they do not cook with lard. Veggie and meat options are available. Most of the places accept cash and card but they some charge a service fee for card. Parking can be rough in Westwood but if you search and are willing to walk it'll be easier to find a spot. I certainly would not go out of my way to come to this market if I didn't work in the area but if you're here, it's nice to stop by

It is really just okay. Very few vendors, not much changed over time. It is only just close by, nothing really attractive. Maybe sometimes I feel like the greek one or the Indian one.

This Farmer's Market is pretty small but it has some pretty good booths. Try the Tamales. $3.50 seems like a lot but these are pretty big. Unfortunately it puts me in that... 2 is a lot and 1 just isn't enough spot. Oh well... The guy at the end serving Afgahni breads and dips is also amazing. And he'll give you lots of free samples. Many of the vendors offer samples, so check them out before you buy. Don't forget that a lot of these stands are cash only, so come prepared.

This farmers' market is not going to blow your mind. Since there are so few stalls, the farmers don't mind taking advantage of their monopoly. Things can be kind of expensive. That being said, just like any farmers' market, go later and get some of the deals on scraps. You may miss the boat but more often you'll end up with fresh, tasty goodies for cheap. I bought a bunch of strawberries for 5 bucks near the end of the market hours, a price I'd only expect at bigger markets. Check out Aman's Greek goods. I get stuff from that guy every week cuz it's so good.

Ah, Thursday Farmer's Market is a Westwood Things and an experience to have. At, first i was surprised by the range of wallet friendly displays of organic foods & juices (they can literally outperform any branded products given the right marketing & capital). A wide variety of goods to buy from clothing to household stuffs.. With the catchy music playing around, 2-hrs of Free Parking in the Broxton Ave and the feel of supporting the local economy.. I'd everthing to visit this every thursday..Hope, You'll like it too!

2.5 stars relative to the farmer's markets in L.A. This one is on par with the MDR one which is much smaller. The selection here just isn't that good and I don't see it drawing the UCLA crowd or competing for customers with the restaurants either. I look for organic options and there are few here. It's nice to have some food options, but honestly on Broxton I'd much rather choose a place to eat from there. Also leave the non-food stuff away for farmers markets. People aren't there to buy stuff like that, it's kind of a waste of a booth. Parking's good with the only free lot next door, but there needs to be some improvements to compete with the better farmers markets on the Westside.

Good place to take a nice stroll after a meal in Westwood...Whether you're around Broxton for a lunch break or you're trying to find a tasty dessert for a post-lunch date snack, this Farmer's Market has what you need. In my case, I'd like to believe it was a post-date stroll, but if you ask her, I think she'd just say she was there to sample her way into a nice food coma ;). Either way, the avenue of food vendors let us enjoy ourselves in our own way hahah. But seriously though, try the round cakes...very moist and sweet!

I tell my students that "ef" is for "effort" - I can't tell if you're trying or not, so I judge you by what you produce. I think the Westwood Farmer's Market *might* be trying, and I love Farmer's Markets on principle. But the selection is poor, and getting worse. The vendors have admitted that more people show up to other Sunday markets, so they lose money by coming to Westwood. The prices are significantly higher than at the grocery store, too, and since the quality isn't much better, why would I bother? Sometimes there are nice flowers. And the vendors are friendly, without exception, and the products are good even if they are limited. (Although...seriously, WTF is up with the guy with the straggly herbs in quantities that suggest he grows them on his windowsill?)

Do not get the pork sandwich from the pushy guys at the BBQ tent. It was impossible to chew, and there were bones fragments in it. It didn't have any taste either. Not worth the $10. The fruit/vegetable stands (all 3 of them!) were just... normal. Still fun to go though!

This farmer's market is small but manages to take up most of the parking in Westwood on Thursdays from 12-6p. Randomly 2 homeless people asked me for cash within 5 minutes. I love the smell of the kettle corn being popped. I sampled lots of interesting foods. Not a very large farmers market but it's nice they have managed to have one in Westwood.

I love this farmer's market! Being a college student at UCLA, just walking down into Westwood on a Wednesday evening is convenient and oh so easy. Eating all of the free samples and chatting with the vendors is a pleasant way to escape some of the studying that we have to do. And also, bargaining is pretty easy. Here are some of my favorite stands. Strawberry ladies vendor: Wish I knew their names. They are two Hispanic ladies selling mostly strawberries (large or small berries, the small ones are sweeter), but they also sell a small amount of blueberries and cucumbers. These berries are soooo sweet, and if you ask politely and maybe towards the end of the day, they will let you have a 3 pack for $4 when it's usually $5. Very nice. Roasted Corn vendor: Also sell baked potatos and baked yams. This is also run by two ladies, and they are so sweet. My friend got a HUGE piece of corn and mine was half of her size, so I whined that she is so lucky (because I love corn). The ladies, without even asking, just gave me another piece of corn slathered with butter with a big smile. I was shocked! They have all the rubs and the mayo and the limes to accompany your roasted treat for $2.50 woohooo. HUGE Fruit vendor: They sell all kinds of fruits and have a huge sample bar in the front of their stall. This is the place to go for samples, and for sweet fruits. In the spring, they had so many different types of oranges and they were all so delicious. Now in the summer, they have many types of peaches and nectarines. All juicy and great to satisfy your sweet tooth. Bolani and Sauce: I buy at least $20 worth of merchandise here each time. They give you as many samples as you want, and are always friendly. Buy the spinach bolani and the potato bolani. Get the Garlic mint cheese, Cilantro pesto, and Sweet jalepeno sauces as well. Trust me, they are healthy, tasty and pretty filling. Chat it up with the vendor, smile, and bargain away!

Smallest Farmer's Market Ever. Actually, the one in the dorms is probably smaller, but wtver. This one had like half a block of stalls and vendors, and I wasn't even sure what it was at first. I guess they have it every Wednesday but it's like nothing. The only thing I liked were the free fruit samples (They had pluots!! but they tasted just like regular plums..) Nothing special. In fact, it might just be an obstruction to traffic since they block off Broxton :[ At least, we can still use the parking structure! (which is free for the first 2 hours before 6pm!)

Not bad Not bad bruins! I was told their was a lot on Broxton that offered the first 2 hrs for free so when I turned onto the street while on Weyburn I was shocked to see this Farmer's Market blocking the thru traffic. Being unfamiliar with the area I didn't know if the lot I was told to park in was blocked off by one of the stands, so when I decided I would make a u-turn and get back onto Weyburn I realized that the ramp I was making the u-turn on was the lot I was looking for. Long story short I got in and found parking quite easily. The agenda of the day was to catch the Euro game and the person I was meeting wasn't in the area yet. So I found myself roaming stand by stand, checking out what they had to offer. The fruits all looked amazingly juicy and I would have bought lunch here if I wasn't going to Barney's. Would I be back? If I am in the area on a Thursday. I can definitely see myself picking up something and one thing that caught my eye is that not all the stands are "cash only" as I saw at least one of the stands accepting cards too. NICE!

It's a really small farmer's market, but it's the closest to campus, and still decent. One thing I really like about this farmer's market is that it's in the afternoon. A lot of farmer's markets are usually from morning until a little past noon AKA at times that I cannot make it. Other than that, I love the cheap strawberries, and the accessories. The market is half accessories/bath&body and half veggies/fruits. The jewelry/accessory stand at the very edge of the market is my fave there. The selection is small, but there is a decent variety. Though, there are also larger ones in Santa Monica, and various parts of the valley area - Glendale & Montrose being my personal faves, overall.
