What a stunning location for a beautiful interpretive centre ! If you are planning to whale watch, make sure you make a stop here. The employees are extremely knowledgeable and super friendly, the shop is full of beautiful gifts, and then you can purchase tickets to learn all about whales.

Small museum. Somewhat interesting but a bit outdated. Good for kids or for a stop along the Cabot trail. Picnic tables outside

Quaint little museum in Pleasant Bay. Definitely worth a stop on your way through the Cabot Trail. Would be great for kids. Had lots of interesting facts about whales and would supplement whale watching nicely. I really enjoyed seeing the school children’s work displayed in the museum. Staff was very friendly and showed us around. Happy 25 year anniversary!

What a little gem of an interpretive centre! A must-visit if you're in the Pleasant Bay area, and the perfect place to get oriented prior to a whale watching tour. The displays are professional and informative... and the staff even let my little dogs tour the facility with me!

Had a wonderful experience here. Lots of good information about whales in Nova Scotia and around the world as well as cool artifacts. Reasonably priced and friendly staff.

This little place is great !! A “lotta” love for whales here and went in to the exhibits. Did you know you can identify certain whales by their “blow”? And more for you to learn. Andrea was very helpful and patient answering our questions.
