Jaw bones of blue whale is an amazing stop in Whitby from where you can enjoy more than half of Whitby town views such as harbour, the 199 steps, ruins of the Abbey, beach light house etc.
The real whale bone arch was erected in 1853 when this town was fishing whale. This whale jaw bones arch is replica of really one which Norway made it for Whitby 1963 and real ones in Whitby Archives & Heritage Centre. The last replica was donated by Alaska in 2003.
