It's very expensive for what it is. 30 euros is insane for one large room with a model of each kind of whale and a few lines of info about them. We spent a rainy day there because it has 2 movies on show. One is 50 mins and one is 1hr. The longer one isn't suitable necessarily for young children. The 2016 noise movie; would be nice to see an updated movie about what has changed since then. There's a cafe and a store. The staff were very nice. We went for free after doing Special Tours rib tour but you get a discount from doing any tour.

This is incredibly informative and engaging. I highly recommend checking out the theater exhibit and watching it. As someone who loves whales, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this museum!

Cute little museum about the whales of Iceland, where the life size models can be viewed. They had a cool documentary about whales on a big screen which was really interesting. The gift shop is really nice and they have plenty of things to purchase.

A very well done museum for all age classes. You can see whale figures in real size and learn lots of interesting facts about the giants of the sea. They also show two movies (50 and 60min long) which are very educational and raise awareness what impacts the whales in their natural habitat. They also provide a quiz where you can test the facts learnt. Inside you also have a small cafe and different activities for young and old.

Museum on various whales. There were many life size renditions all over the museum. Great for anyone interested. There's a little room that shows videos of whales and provides you with a good sense of their behaviours, habits, etc...Good price overall. Nice little gift shop at the end. Great for souvenirs. Plenty of parking.

The exhibit was interesting but not worth 45 CAD. There no whales in the exhibit but only life size scale of whale models in a large warehouse. The film they show at the back of the building can be watched on YouTube. A tourist trap for the price you paid for.q

I was definitely enlightened about whales and it was a worthwhile visit to this museum. The life-size models of the whales amazed me by the mere size and how magnificent the whales are. The description written against each model and the audio tour enhanced my knowledge about this wonderful mammal. We also watched a documentary at the theatre inside the premises. It saddens me to know how the increasing amount of cargo ships in the oceans are harming the whales :( Coat stands and locker facilities are available. Clean washroom, cafe for small bites & coffee and free drinking water available.
