Wharf Bar & Restaurant Ballina

Dropped in for lunch and so glad we did. Oysters Kirkpatrick to start with a glass of Rose overlooking the river. We then had the Seafood Mixed Grill with flash fried Brussel Sprouts. Absolutely delicious. Great food and location. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A real 5 star experience and well recommended, popped in off the cuff and we were seated with a great view of the river and the wharves. Food was spot on, tried the Ballina Best pizza which was fresh and tasty plus a bowl of olives and a couple of ginger beers. Staff were on point and the atmosphere was chilled and laid back reminded me of a Greek taverna. Excellent spot for lunch.

We booked this place based on their Google reviews, but when we walked past it, we were unsure.,. We went anyway because we wanted to have the seafood chowder, we were so glad we did! We had the seafood mixed grill too and all the seafood was super fresh and perfectly grilled, the service was excellent too, overall a top notch experience, thank you very much!

The service was friendly and professional, never once did they make me feel uncomfortable about my feedback on my meal. That is why I have more than 1 star. Okay the meal, it was terrible. The barramundi was not cooked through, it took another 10 mins for the piece to come back and it was just horrible by that time to eat. I would also say for the quality and accompany components of the dish it is well overpriced. 3 small (but tasty) lettuce leaves... Two nights before I had been in Canberra at a pricey restaurant who charged the same price for a delicious and big piece of barramundi with sides.

My friend and i dinned New year’s eve and found the wharf, dull. Customer service was appalling, and when we asked where our drinks were, the waitress went to check and didn’t bother coming back to tell us. we waited 20 minutes. The seafood grill i ordered, the fish was over cooked, the prawns has a strange flavour, couldn’t eat them. Moretan Bay bugs were black?? My friend ordered small muscles, she got a large serving, the muscles were so small looked over cooked and half the shells were empty, gluten free bread was burnt with no butter or oil. You wouldn’t have known we were ringing in the new year, no decorations, the music was so quiet. Would not return or recommend, it’s such a shame as the location is amazing! Good customer service and food is the key to any good establishment.

Wharf was a wonderful, impromptu place to spend a Valentine's lunch. the weather was spectacular, the view over the jetty and river were uninterrupted and the food exceeded our expectations. The double cooked octopus was sensational - almost like a tender steak. We enjoyed watching the kids fishing and the joy when they caught a fish, even though they had to throw it back. Staff were attentive, efficient and friendly.

The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Seafood here is a must 👌🏽 Thank you!!!

The service was very quick. I ordered a latté (amazing by the way) , sat down and before I knew it they were putting a jug a water on my table. They then proceeded by serving my latté after only 3 minutes. The coffee tasted very fresh and the staff were friendlier than most. Definately recommend this café for a coffee with friends!!! Xx

didn't mind the service was great and the price was a bit high but the food was also great
