This is a wonderful venue... Best in Cooktown. Stunning views and fishing action on the wharf. We have had several meals here and the chief is top quality. Everything we have eaten here has been exquisite. Very well worth a visit, even if just for the views, a and cheery service. Get down there, watch the action and be treated to the best meal in the north!

Beautiful place to dine as the sun sets. Lovely staff. Ordered entree of 500gms of king prawns for main meal. Asked for a small salad on the side. Chief came out and asked what I liked and didn't like. Truly, it was the nicest salad I had ever had. My husband had a main of barramundi and vegetables. We certainly recommend this restaurant to you. Apparently, they have lovely breakfast and lunch, too.

Loved it here, very friendly people, things to do here, watch the Huge Queensland Groupers being fed, watch all the different fisher persons fishing of all ages. Recommend coming here.

So simple - just fish & chips in paper but so well done it was simply wonderful. Perhaps the best fish & chips we ever had. Freshly caught fish very lightly battered served with perfectly fried and salted chips. Eaten watching the sunset over the Endeavour River as we sipped a cool white wine. A memorable evening.

Very pleasant sitting on the deck over the water, for a delicious brekkie! Simple and no fuss with a good, down to earth local clientele. Since the first review I’ve been back several times for lunch and dinner- the fish and particularly the bucket of prawns were fantastic- thanks Matt!

Stumbled on this place by chance and so glad we did! Had the fish & chips and fresh prawn & avo on toasted roll. Soooo good! Lovely outside area in the shade to catch the seabreeze and enjoy the view.

If you are looking for the tastiest and freshest seafood in town with a view to boot, don't go past this place! We ordered the Coral trout and also calamari. Both were more than generous portions and battered and seasoned perfectly. Look for the big cod in the roof waterfront!
