Great store! Be sure to ask for James! I’ve visited this store online before and made a purchase online in the past. But this was the first live visit to the store. So many wonderful designer bags to choose from in exquisite condition. Clothing, shoes and jewelry as well. It’s clear that the staff loves their job and they are people oriented. Some shops are not as fortunate to have staff who make everyone feel welcome and truly enjoy what they do. That makes a big difference for the customer. But here, all the people I met were all customer oriented. Not only was James knowledgeable about the bags and their history but they were all friendly and personable. I’ve included photos of super magnificent bags that caught my eye (and one may head home with me) as well as photos of the store and the staff. Definitely worth the trip!

Google
Incredible experience! WGACA probably has one of the best selections of vintage and pre-loved designer bags in LA. The staff greeted me as soon as I walked in. Jordan helped me find the perfect Fendi bag. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. I’m not someone to make a decision quickly and he did not pressure me at all. It was a very enjoyable experience and I will certainly be back to buy my next piece here!

Picked out my first Louis Vuitton, great condition and a great price! What really made this a great experience was the sales staff, specifically Aidan. She was so helpful and accommodating, and her energy is unmatched. She even sourced a dust bag and is shipping it! I highly recommend swinging by WGACA if you’re in LA, and I’m definitely going to return the next time I’m in town.

Google
This review is less about the store and more about the customer service we received from Warren. He was so attentive, so friendly, and so informative. We asked to see a handbag and he showed the one I wanted right away. He was the absolute best and I recommend anyone visiting this location to go see him. He would be the ONLY reason why we’d return. Thank you, Warren!

I have been trying to buy a bag from this company since July, and my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Initially, I placed an order through their website, and while my payment was accepted, I received an email stating that my order was declined and flagged as potential fraud. This caused immediate concern and confusion. On June 21st, I requested that the bag be sent to their Beverly Hills store. They assured me it would arrive in a few days. However, yesterday I received another message informing me that the bag had been sold. This has been immensely frustrating, and the entire process has been extremely disappointing. I had hoped for a smooth transaction, but the lack of communication and the repeated issues have been incredibly frustrating. I am deeply dissatisfied with the service and the handling of my purchase.

Google
This is luxury vintage shopping elevated to the highest level. The selection is incredible, unique and well organized. The prices are very reasonable and there were even some killer Grateful Dead tees! What really makes this place special is the staff, though. The moment we entered, we were cheerfully greeted by everyone that wasn't with a client. What became immediately clear is they are not only knowledgable, but love what they do. Aidan read my wife like a book and brought over a fabulous rainbow feather coat for her to try on just for fun - This really set the tone for a wonderful shopping experience. We seriously could have stayed all day. Best of all, I now know exactly where to shop for the best in luxury vintage.

Google
Had the absolute best experience today! James was so kind and helpful to both me and my Mom. Did not expect to buy anything, but could not resist! Had the absolute best selection with every item in such great condition. This store is a must to go to if you are in the area! Be sure to ask for James! ❤️

Yelp
We found this place here on Yelp, but it was listed under "thrift shops". It's a unique and really cool boutique, with really REALLY expensive, but very rare items!! Super cool to look! The staff were awesome, especially the hip transgender with long blonde hair and beautiful nails. She was super friendly and gracious in showing us around!

Yelp
Absolutely avoid this place! Extremely overpriced and very snobbish. Tried reselling with them and they took forever to reply, said they're not interested. My luxury items were pristine, with tags and everything. Went to their store and saw what they have, it's literally people's junk that they tried to get rid of and gets sold here at a very high price, so it makes sense why my stuff wasn't a good fit. I'm shocked they're still crawling along and haven't shut down yet.

Yelp
Great selection of designer everything! Bought a beautiful Gucci scarf that still had the tags on. Great selection on Hermes bags too! Service was outstanding!

Yelp
Amazing experience from start to finish. Friendly staff and very knowledgeable of the brands. I had so much fun making my first purchase!

Yelp
I came here because of TikTok! I saw a post and tagged along with my hubby on his business trip. This store is located right up the street from the Wilshire and right across from Wolford. When we arrived there was a small line. A lady in front and two ladies together. The wait was a bit long. Both of them left just leaving us in the line. Once inside I was excited to check out what they had. I didn't have anything in mind but Elaine was very helpful with narrowing down suggestions. We looked at multiple vintage Chanel options like the belts, brooches and bags. I'm a big fan of vintage Chanel because I love 24k gold. I settled on this gorgeous vintage clutch and brooch. There was a spring sale going on that both my items qualified for. A vintage under $2500 is a deal to me. I really needed an evening bag after loosing my Gucci clutch. What a better upgrade than Chanel from Gucci lol. All in all great experience. I'll def be back when I come back into town.

Yelp
I was looking for my graduation present . Callin and the other staff was so helpful . I got champagne to celebrate . Definitely recommend.

Yelp
I stopped here not long ago after taking my girl shopping. I wanted to spoil myself a little bit with some nice bling here at What Goes Around Comes Around. I was somewhat impressed with some of the clothes, Items, watches and maybe other toys for us guys. Customer Service was good. My first time here, so I didn't not know what to happen, but I was a happy camper.

Yelp
Was looking for pre-owned luxury bags, primarily Gucci, when I came across What Goes Around Comes Around. We did have to wait outside in the heat for maybe 15 minutes, which wasn't fun. After going inside, the experience was great. They didn't have what I was looking for, but they do have a lot of luxury handbags. Some great, quality pieces. Ended up liking a Chanel bag, but chose not to get it because of the strap not being ideal length. Service was great during our visit and we would come again.

Yelp
I'm new to What Goes Around Come Around! Just happened to discover their site when shopping around online for the Hawaii LV bag. I had a few questions so I called this boutique and lucked out by having Kevin answer!! He's FANTASTIC! So friendly, was super quick at getting my answers and getting back to me and even sent me awesome pics of the actual bag I was shopping for. He's exactly the type of associate I enjoy working with. I added him to my contacts right away because I definitely will be working with him in the future! A great big MAHALO to Kevin for his help in getting my Hawaii bag! I'd recommend to anyone to contact him if you need assistance finding a special designer item!! It's associates like Kevin that will keep me coming back for more!!

Yelp
I've heard of What Goes Around Comes Around as a option for purchasing pre-loved bags, accessories, and specialty items from luxury brands. (Mainly through their website.) While hunting for Chanel's temporary boutique location, my family and I walked past What Goes Around Comes Around and decided to stop by once we found Chanel. Eventually we left the Chanel standby line, due to the long line and the fact that it was taking too long to move people along inside. This is located off a side street near the main Rodeo Drive boutiques and shops. It's a small location but they offer a lot of items from bags, accessories, clothing, and unique items. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout the whole visit and offered to answer any questions or show us things we wanted to take a closer look at. They arrange a majority of the items by color, with women's at the front and men's at the back. Because I'm only familiar with their website, I was surprised to see they sell clothing as well. (Eventually I learned from Gerard that it is difficult to list and properly describe the condition of every clothing piece online, which is why they focus on bags and accessories for their sites.) Pricing ranges depending the condition, piece, and rarity. I looked at a few burgundy Chanel bags and while they were in beautiful condition, they were a bit out of my price range at the moment. I did find a fantastic YSL bustier that fit like a glove and walked away with that. Parking options are street parking, finding a lot, or parking far from Rodeo Drive and walking.

Yelp
Highly unprofessional to be staffed with only 2 people and make customers who want to spend thousands wait in a line "off to the side of the door" in the heat. Not happy with how this place treats customers. Will not attempt to return. So many other places will bend over backwards for customers.

Yelp
I'm in a rush, looking for a NEW Years ensemble. Impeccably curated-- not stuffed to the gills. This isn't your ramble touch everything pirates booty. Nope. It is a sparkly bespoken BOUTIQUE. They have a endlessly fabulous collection of Chanel purses. The staff is delightfully accommodating. Very high-end for my exiguous income, but for the perfect splurge ! Or a one-of-kind gift or perhaps when I get over myself & rest on my scruples & take up an offer from these industry type men prowling around LA . I love this place, it brings out the swollen hunt that lives in all environmentalist vintage girls, oh how that Gucci leather jacket demon slowly laced his fingers into my reverie ..... I'll go back.... After I've sold my soul & my children that I don't have. Will the jacket still be there ? Help ‍

Yelp
High end used merchandise from designers. Prices are high as resale shops go, but low compared to the brand new of the same being sold in this neighborhood of Beverly Hills. There are advantages to paying their prices, one being that they will stand behind what they sell - you will not get stuck with any counterfeits here, and will be able to return anything if it should end up being fake. Another is that you are able to touch and feel the item and look it over for defects and wear, versus buying it online, sight unseen. If you are looking for any of the greats - including Hermes, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, this is a place to look. They also recently started buying so if you have some designer goods you no longer need, you could start here to see if they will pay you what you would like to get to part with your high end stuff. Friendly staff that leaves you alone if you wish to browse; including the security guard who is unobtrusively amiable as well, as it all should be.

Yelp
I will spare you the details I know about this company for legal purposes, but the owners are absolutely rotten people & their horrendous attitude seems to infiltrate the store atmosphere whether they are there or not. Oh, also completely over priced & their in-house designs are laughably bad.
google avatar

Maureen C.

Yelp
This site is the best for selling or buying high end clothing and jewelry. This company is first rate and they will never lie to you like other companies do.
google avatar

Chris M S.

Yelp
I'll update this review if/when I'm actually able to go inside the store, rather than trying to peek through the windows at inventory. This store should definitely work on its online presence, even if it's something as simple as updating store hours across platforms. I searched on google and yelp to check and make sure they were open today, both of which told me their hours were noon to 6pm. When I got there the store was closed, and no updates anywhere online what their current hours were. I was really looking forward to seeing some interesting designer consignments but sadly today was not the day.

Sophia S.

Yelp
Has potential but the employees throw around the Chanel Purses like a basketball..right before purchasing. They were rude and reserved a bag for me then it was still available on the site then yelled at me for complaining and then through the Chanel purse around. Terrible company. Won't survive

Yelp
What goes around comes around (WGACA) is a specialty vintage shop. Sure, we all love a deal, but if you've got the time to search for a vintage rock t shirt in a garage sale or a dead man's closet; MORE POWER TO YOU!! Think of it this way. It's like if you are looking for a mint, vintage, all original, patina 1967 Lamborghini Muira at a classic car dealer, it'll cost you a whopping $3mm, but if you got the time to search for a barn find to restore it yourself then maybe you can buy it cheaper right? Besides, it is for those of you who know of a particular piece that you not only want, but have to have it because you went to that last concert of that particular band's last tour. So WGACA is like that classic car dealer. They have taken the time to source those one of a kind pieces of clothing or accessory that there may just be a few pieces left on this planet!! So sure, one can think of this place as an overpriced garage sale, OR maybe you've been looking for that Led Zepplin, The Who, AC/DC, The Doors or even that Duran Duran or Bananarama concert t shirt that you went to sometime ago but your mom threw it away (and you just gotta have it!!). I know some of us are not that old, but come on just think about it. Those of you that went to a Taylor Swift concert or (OK OK) that Bieliber concert today and bought a t-shirt from a farewell concert tour and fast forward 30 years from now. That T shirt may just be the one you bought and your mom tossed it or donated it (that you wanted to kick your mom's behind. Sorry mom!!), and now you just want to have it again but it has become a one of a kind vintage rock t-shirt that you just can't find it anywhere!! Well, all that being said, WGACA is a great shop with many rare one of a kind pieces. Whether you really want to buy a great vintage piece or just browsing around, You can buy that legendary vintage piece because money is no object or you can break your bank trying to look cool. I think you will find many old memories of the 90s, 80s, 70s or even the 60s and beyond!!

Ericka G.

Yelp
5 stars for WGACA and 5 stars for Elaine! Elaine was so helpful even though I was probably so annoying. I was on the hunt for a vintage Chanel flap bag and she showed me so many different bags and she allowed me (and even encouraged me) to try them all on a bunch of times. She showed me how to adjust the straps, she was very knowledgeable about the history and specs of the bags, and overall a very helpful and friendly person. Being the indecisive person that I am, I came to the store 3x in the same day before finally making a decision. I would have been so annoyed but Elaine was very professional and happy to help me. I saw on the website that they offered 10% off on certain items and she honored that for me which was so awesome. If you are in the market for vintage luxury, this is the place. Lots to choose from. Thanks for a great experience, WGACA and Elaine!

Yelp
I came in the other day as I was window shopping on a Sunday. I must say the staff is so so so nice and knowledgeable. What I love about this place is that it's classy but not pretentious. Great service and the employees aren't judgey. I met the owner Gerard who entertained me for what probably felt like a lifetime to him as he is probably a very busy man. I was deciding between two LV's which I wanted to sleep on and ended up passing on, only because I want to save up to buy a Chanel. They have a HUGE selection of such gorgeous bags vintage and newer and clothes AND accessories. I definitely will be back. Thank you Gerard and staff!! Loved you guys

Yelp
This location is closed and the new location they are moving to is not yet open due to construction issues. There was a lady in the old location and answered all my questions and gave a 10% coupon for use for their new location. Can't wait. I'm gonna miss this location though. It is nice and in a good location.

Yelp
I would probably shop here often, but the first time I went in a couple of girls working there told me oh we have the bag you want let us get it from our inventory and we will contact you by the end of the day, and at the time when I was leaving the second girl said oh we are going to have a sale of Chanel bags next week, I will text you and let you know. They took my name and number and I never got a call, a text or a follow up. Too bad because they lost a good customer

Alizabeth I.

Yelp
Wow This place is a joke Worst selection of designer pieces ever Come here if you want old 1900s with ridiculous prices The only thing that's nice are the bags but I wouldn't trust authenticity here They must not have inventory or all the good stuff is in New York? I bank on it closing.
google avatar

Sarah D.

Yelp
I have been to LA many times, but had no idea that WGACA was here! Great, not pushy customer service. The lovely woman who has helping me suggested pieces that she thought I would like based on what I pulled, but wasn't pushy. My pieces were hardly expensive, and she gave me champagne and told me about some of the gallery worthy pieces anyways, even though I expressed some of them were out of my budget. I had a lot of fun, and even the security guard was nice and welcoming. Oh and the selection was amazing!! Great for us fashion and print appreciators.

Yelp
SO EXCITED THIS LOCATION IS NOW IN LA! No idea how long ago it moved but it was originally in Costa Mesa and my husband and I loved the store but the location didn't do it justice for getting the traffic it deserved. The owner is amazing and super genuine and down to earth. The first time we ever went in the store we were warmly greeted and even offered water. The clothing they had were amazing deals and also they sell a variety of other items besides just clothing. It is super unique and I can totally see them opening more locations all over in the future. I love the name. Obsessed with it actually because how has someone not come up with this before?! It's genius because in fashion, everything does just repeat itself. There are certain vintage items that are specifically genuine vintage so sometimes those are seperate but the clothing has a wide variety for guys and girls. It is a fun place to shop and super comfortable. You can find a lot of awesome items here because the owner knows the demographic he is selling to and he has been doing this for a while so he knows what works and doesn't work. He sells things that are in high demand and that people want. Not sure if they still have these things that are like "what goes around comes around money/coupons" it is like $1 off randomly things depending how much you spend depends on how much money things you get to use next time. The ones I had never had expiration dates on them and they are always playing good music in here so it is always a fun shopping experience coming in here.
google avatar

Maureen W.

Yelp
Nope. I refuse to spend my money or even entertain the thought of parting with my bennies at a place where the associate won't even acknowledge your presence. That said, what i found was a cool selection of vintage concert tees... Cool stuff. Too bad they aren't a friendly establishment.
google avatar

Christian B.

Yelp
Amazing stuff but the prices are disgusting and ridiculous.... $700 band shirts that you could literally find at the thrift store... i dont know who's buying them or why they think they're worth that much
google avatar

Alexis T.

Yelp
A lot of there items were overpriced in the store. I felt like some of the items could've been lower in price. The employees weren't very welcoming either. They didn't ask if we were looking for a specific thing or needed help. They just sat at and on the counter talking and that was with everyone that walked in.

Tanner H.

Yelp
I went to the store and I was like holy shit they have everything here so I immediately went inside and bought everything I could get my hands on because if I didn't my wife would've divorced me. All the workers there were very helpful getting everything bagged up in time you know how girls are they want their stuff quickly. everyone there is super nice the owner is amazing I'm very glad I got to buy from there. Best store ever.
google avatar

Bon C.

Yelp
They were talking shit loud about somebody and no one realized about me when I walked in. the lady with short black hair had a bad manner. Eek... I don't wanna go back there. Great vintage store with bad employees.
google avatar

Brian K.

Yelp
I've been to their store in NYC, so I was familiar with the company. Same stuff here, but now in LA. It's a high-end store, where they handpick vintage clothes. Almost everything is expensive, but all of it was good stuff... like the best jacket at Wasteland would be here. I was drooling over some of the old concert shirts, but too expensive for me, got a sweatshirt. My friend bought a leather jacket for $600, but it's cool as hell... not cheap though. But he wears it everywhere - that kind of jacket. Like the great bookstore across from them, this is more typical of Melrose/Beverly Hills than Hollywood-type shops, so I wouldn't say it has bargains; it's for people who want the really good stuff and will pay lots for it. Right next to Amoeba and Arclight, so parking's rough anywhere in that whole neighborhood.
google avatar

Marissa F.

Yelp
I LOVE this store. Amazing vintage Chanel. I immediately fell in love with 2 bags (never happens), but wanted to be a cautious buyer as I know very little about vintage. I did my homework, the bags, although expensive, are actually well suited to their prices. They're rare, in mint condition & have the serial cards.
google avatar

Lauren J.

Yelp
Bit pricey, and thats what give it the 4 stars, instead of 5. but for a REASON. soo many dope pieces with character and history. You walk in and feel positive energy radiating from this store and the sweet people who work there. DEF going to be shopping here and finding one of a kind pieces!

Dina A.

Yelp
You gotta be kidding me...who shops at this store? Right away, you can tell this place is expensive by how sparsely merchandised it is...seriously, it's like an art gallery. And the "art" is? Old T-shirts. One of the first things that caught my eye was a rack of black vintage concert shirts. There was a Van Halen shirt, just your basic old cotton concert shirt, and it was...(drum roll, please)...FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS! Wtf? Nearby was a glass case, the kind like they have in jewelry stores, and inside were some other old concert T's. There was a pretty cool-looking David Bowie shirt, probably from the mid 70's I can only imagine what the price must have been on that one! I just don't get it. Don't get me wrong, I know how rare some old shirts like that can be...I just don't see charging that much for ANY T-shirt. Besides that he staff, which consisted of two uber-hipster pretentious teenagers, acted like they were God's gift to Los Angeles...helpful? Friendly? Definitely not.
google avatar

Nik L.

Yelp
wow - old nirvana cotton t shirt in bad condition, 450 dollars. levis denim jacket, 1250 dollars i wish i was in on this joke?? very friendly staff though
google avatar

Jeremy W.

Yelp
Had a cool assortment of clothes and non-apparel merch but was over-priced and offered really lousy customer service. My fiancé and I weren't important enough to be greeted or spoken to, but the woman who walked in after us with a Chanel bag was. My fiancé had been on the hunt for some vintage Levis, and had already purchased a pair from American Rag Down the street, when she spotted a couple pairs at this place. She held them in her hand and patiently presented herself to the staff of three who stood grouped together talking and casually ignored us. She politely interrupted them and asked if she could try the jeans on, at which point she was pretty much blown off with a "Go ahead." Meanwhile, Chanel woman was given friendly and attentive service. My fiancé didn't even try the jeans on, but she did put them back where she found them. Really disappointing shopping experience overall, something we hadn't really encountered in LA.
google avatar

Quentin C.

Yelp
anyone with that much vintage chanel, i have to love i wonder if the front windows are shatter proof (seriously, it's check it out...fabulous representation of what they sell.)
google avatar

Matthew W.

Yelp
This is a pricey store that is for indie people in Hollywood. My friends and I went in here to mess around and pass the time waiting for Umami Burger (the best). They have some really weird leather jackets and things, I just have no idea who would buy things in here. We looked at the price for this one leather and fur vest, over 600 dollars. Go ahead and entertain yourself waiting for Umami though because that is fun.

Andrea S.

Yelp
The most unique and elegant pieces outside of a museum that you can actually get your hands on!
google avatar

Minerva J.

Yelp
Found this place by total accident, great selection of vintage items and their own brand. Wish I could afford it but it was nice just to look around! The shop girl was super nice and helpful, brought some stuff out from the back to show us and was just generally friendly. Will be back to peruse again some time soon.

James B.

Yelp
Went in the store for the first time a week. ago. Took about 10 minutes to asked be helped. I live in New York, and love the store there. These two women treated us as we where lucky to be shopping in "Their" store. I asked to try on some t-shirts. The tall brunette got some. I said I didn't wanna spend $200 on a T-Shirt. She replied we don't have anything less than or around a $100. So I started looking in a different pile. I found plenty of cool t-shirts less than a $100. My friend had already left the store. Of course I walked out with nothing. I should of just stolen a t-shirt. Save your time!
