Wheatlands Lodge

We stayed in room 2 over the bank holiday weekend and had a great experience. The hotel is central and beautifully decorated, there is even a private car park which is a bonus. Our room was immaculate with nice toiletries from a local company. The beds were comfy and the room quiet. At breakfast there was a large variety to choose from, we had the Cumbrian every morning and it was delicious. The hosts were very attentive and made the stay enjoyable. We would happily stay here again.

It had been a while since we last stayed at Wheatlands Lodge. Mike and Lynne were, as always, the perfect hosts. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality make every stay a five star experience.|We had almost forgotten just how exceptionally the breakfast is - beautifully prepared !!!!

The Wheatlands is a 5 star adult only hotel that lived up to its reputation, the rooms were perfectly designed for the traveler with everything you could need on hand with very comfortable beds and a well appointed shower room. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice of cooked, fresh fruit along with a range of cereals, our party are really looking forward to visiting the Wheatlands again in the future and seeing the great hosts Mike and Lynn again.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay with Mike & Lynne at their lovingly restored hotel. You are super hosts and long may your business flourish. We travelled by train to Windermere and only a short walk through the town we arrived at Wheatlands Lodge, which Mike & Lynne have tastefully refurbished. We were given time slots for breakfasts in the morning, which makes perfect sense as you know you are getting freshly prepared food, and they were all really tasty. As hosts they were a mind of knowledge of how to get around with great recommendations for restaurants. If we ever come back to Windermere, we would definitely look you up. Keep up the great work. We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Wheatlands Lodge. Our room had a beautiful garden view and the bed was super comfy and everything was spotless. Breakfast choice was good and beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The location is brilliant, just a short walk into Windermere village and nice scenic stroll to the lake.

We booked wheatlands Lodge last minute.. we struck gold. Lynn and Mike were fabulous hosts , our stay couldn’t have been better. The room was beautiful clean with a lot of thoughtful extras Tea, coffee, fresh bottled water a dressing table and mirror a spa bath . The most amazing freshly cooked breakfast Loved every minute of our stay.

We had a lovely stay at Wheatland Lodge in Windermere. The room was gorgeous as was the breakfast area. The breakfast was good and I loved the pancakes. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with lots of information. The area was quiet and it was easy to get around. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Absolutely brilliant! The place was lovely, great location. The rooms were very good and our bed was so super comfy! The breakfast was delicious too and we had very good quality products. the whole experience was great service.
