Wheelhouse In Georgetown

We ordered the paella, mussels, lobster melt, and oysters. It was all incredible! The paella especially, it was better than the paella I had in Spain!! The oysters were fresh and amazing. The mussels and lobster melt were also amazing but the paella really stole the show. We ate outside since we had a dog with us. The staff were very friendly towards us and our dog. I would go back to PEI just for the paella, it was that amazing. I definitely recommend!

A stunning dining experience. Unmatched location, sunset and vibe. Super friendly staff and an amazing live musician. The food was really good with some minor critiques. One of the signature dishes, the Halibut is a really well thought of dish. Great acidity and textures but the halibut itself was dry. Their take on the lobster roll, a bit underwhelming and stale. The chowder was great but the most surprising and recommended dish, the oyster mushroom paella/ risotto. Perfect mix of flavors and spices. Great overall experience!

We had an amazing meal as a family at the wheel house. The staff were amazing but the food and atmosphere and drinks was the highlight. We loved the chowder, lobster paella, halibut, oysters, mushroom oyster toast. The drinks were great too they had some amazing alcoholic and non alcoholic options. To me this is one of the best a la carte menus on the east coast of the island and we finished our meal watching a beautiful sunset on the patio, ending a wonderful and memorable night being hosted by the wheelhouse. Thanks to the team at the wheelhouse.

Get the Lobster Paella. It was our first time to PEI and after landing in Charlottetown around 1pm we took the short drive out to Georgetown. I had made reservations around 7:15pm to catch the sunset and it was well worth it. Excellent food, great wine, staff are friendly and helpful with menu choices. As the night cooled off we were even offered a blanket to enjoy staying outside. Ambience 10/10.

Great restaurant with one of the best views in all of PEI, especially at sunset Food was fresh, innovative, and there were a variety of items on the menu to choose from They offer both indoor and outdoor seating Service was great. Food came out in a timely manner, and staff were friendly.

Really cozy all around vibes. Come as you are, recommend to go on a sunny day and sit on the outside patio by the water. Plenty of tables. Front of house has an oyster bar. Plenty of in house made to order fresh options meals. I ordered the in house seafood Chowder. It was incredibly tasty. Fresh daily oysters were delicious too. I liked the Red head. I would definitely recommend and return.

Really lovely atmosphere and friendly staff! The menu had so many great options. We had to come back a second time because we enjoyed it so much! A huge thank-you to our server Kadin for the exceptional service.

It’s a restaurant with beautiful sea views. The best dish is the oysters because they are not cooked. However, the food is too salty. The chowder is too too salty.
