So, this was a take a picture before I ate fail; I even forgot to take a picture of my empty tray. But thankfully, there were some very kind people at Wheelies who allowed me to take a shot of another sandwich before it went out to the customer who ordered it. I had their special and it was delicious. A masterfully creative play on a Big Mac (my inference - apologies if I got that wrong). It was supremely satisfying and a flavour explosion. So many things on their menu look absolutely outstanding. I can't wait to go back and work my way through it, and also their cocktails menu. I'm gonna give a special mention to Working Culture who pointed me in the direction of Wheelies. They were on my to patronise list for today as I continued my search for amazing sandwiches, but alas, they were out. I'll pre-order next time. Definitely stop by Wheelies if you're in the area. It's also a really cool vibe.

Went for brunch over the weekend and loved it. The place is cozy with limited space between tables, so I ended up sitting at the bar. It’s unique to find such a cool spot this close to downtown! I ordered the chorizo skillet, and despite the small kitchen with just two chefs, the food came out quickly—and it was delicious. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu!

An industrial neighbourhood close to downtown Victoria offers a unique place for beverages and simple meals. Sandwiches are truly excellent. Closed Mondays, Wheelies is open 11 am to 5 pm, except on Fridays when closing time is 9 pm. Saturday and Sunday the restaurant offers a brunch menu not available on other days. Lots of interesting decorations and a small clothing shop with shirts, hats and other items. Outside seating is available. We had breakfast at the Empress Hotel that day. Lunch at Wheelies was better.

I work nearby and grab lunch at Wheelies pretty often. The food’s solid and the portions are good for the price. One time they messed up my order and I ended up waiting about 45 minutes for a sandwich, but they made up for it with a free one on my next visit. The owner’s a chill dude 🤘, and overall it’s a good spot for a casual bite.

Mac and cheese is phenomenal, the warm potato salad is addictive as hell, and from the first step into this place, you know it’s a local gem. Can’t go wrong. Might be the perfect spot all around to be honest.

Wheelies was definitely an experience. They had a live band playing the night I was there. It was definitely a pleasure to enjoy some music while I ate there. They have a showroom floor for a bunch of merchandise for sale. Quit the unique place. I was satisfied with the food that I ate. I definitely want to come back here. I won't wait too long before my next visit I am very interested in trying other options to eat there. Keep up the great job service was phenomenal.

Urban biker cafe in an industrial area close to downtown. Super cute! Rustic and real. We had the pulled pork sandwich’s with a side of Mac and cheese topped with brisket. Add their hot sauce !! Yum. We also had cocktail drinks and beer. This place is easy and visually fun.

Wheelies is a bit of a hidden gem. They have a small menu packed with a little bit of everything leaning on comfort food favorites. They also have a fantastic brunch featuring two or three skillets and excellent sandwiches. Service is great. Order at the bar and sit down. They have beer, cocktails and coffee. You can also buy cool wheelies swag to bring home with you.

Saw all the delicious breakfasts posted on their front page and stopped in to sample one only to learn that the great breakfasts are only on the weekend. All they had available when I was there was sandwiches, which is not what I wanted. I left. PUT IT ON YOUR WEBPAGE!! The only reason the rating is even a 2 is because the staff was friendly and put up with me even though I was not happy about the website deception.

The small crew will make you feel at home in their easy going eatery. Big respect for keeping a vegan soup year round, gluten free options, and a local coffee on brew... as well as local beer brews, ha! Stoked they've opened up the clothing shop side of things. Probably Victoria's best not-so-secret spot. Recommend the veggie sandwich

This place is unique as where it is located. Located in the industrial area of Victoria you can find this gem. I've only ever been here for a delicious brunch - a hash served on a skillet! We had heard wonders about the ice cream sandwich so we had to give that a try right after breakfast. It was delicious! Wheelies has live music on some nights, I plan to come back and check it out as it would be such a nice intimate experience!

We checked out this place based on Yelp reviews and were not disappointed. Went early for lunch and were the first customers in. Order at the counter and they bring to your table. The server said their pork sandwich was the popular item and going with his recommendation did not disappoint. Slightly spicy, outstanding bread and delicious pork. And we tried their ice cream dessert -- also outstanding. This is in a real working motorcycle shop and it shows in decor. Fun out of the way place for lunch with surprisingly great food and service.

Been wanting to stop I'm for a long time and finally today was the day. The atmosphere/decor is great. So much to look at. You order at the bar and they bring you the food and drink. Service at the bar was good. I ordered a chicken sandwich and it really was good. My friend only had a coffee and he was a little disappointed as it was Discovery coffee which neither if us like much. However certainly going back, just not for any coffee.

Don't BOTHER if you're a TOURIST! The waitress was lovely to the locals but, except for pouring our coffee, she ignored us during our entire visit. Since we were sitting at the bar right in front of her, her avoidance of us made for a VERY awkward meal. We tried to talk to her and she acted like she didn't hear us. I can only assume she acted that way because we are Americans? It's a small place, and there's nowhere to go if the only waitress does not want to look at you, so I do not recommend that you waste $25 on two breakfast sandwiches and coffee if you're from out of town. And certainly don't expect any refills, creamer, napkins, or utensils. They're around but...ya' know....that's not her job to get 'em....

Tried here for the first time and I am blown away. The menu is simple and well executed. I had the pork sandwich which was the best thing I've had in weeks. The ice cream sandwich is out of this world. I don't usually have dessert as I prefer savory over sweet, but I would make an exception again for these.

What a place! i happened to be in the neighbourhood and checked Yelp. Directed me here. Great place with an over-abundance of character. I was surprised at how many motorcycles were there. (insider tip - not many dual sport bikes or high vis vests here). Looks like they had every thing a guy could want - good coffee/espresso, beer, good sandwiches and what looked like awesome Mac and Cheese (sadly I didn't try it). Food was good - chimichurra (sp?) aioli was excellent on the pulled pork sandwich.

Hidden gem. Feels like stepping into an old motorcycle movie and stopping on the highway for some great food, beer and coffee. Old bikes being worked on and memorabilia that makes you feel nostalgic for a simpler time. Tried the caesar and t was great!

I have been here a few times so far at different times of day- from lunches and coffee hangs with my kid, (who loved building her own Lego chopper), to shows on the weekend nights when they have live music. The patio is great for a meet up with the whole crew year round. Not just for moto enthusiasts.

Awesome food, have had both the chicken and pork sandwich and loved them both times. They either ran out or stopped serving chicken last time, so I was happy I loved the pork, but my girlfriend only eats chicken, so please keep the chicken sandwich!! Really nice atmosphere, something different and not what you would expect from the outside. It is great to see all the custom motorcycles and parts etc. I have not yet put my bike on the road, but will be a nice stop. Trendy, but beats going for a coffee at tim ho or starbucks :-)

Best sleeper in Victoria to grab a beer and sandwich. Killer food, small menu and just the beer on tap you want, all in a great vibe and relaxed atmosphere. So obscure even the hipsters haven't heard of it. Or maybe they have but are afraid of getting beat up in Rock Bay, by the guys with real beards.... The shop only works on shovelheads and older engines so you don't get the Harley Wild Hawg types there either.

I went to Wheelies just yesterday with my son who was buying a part for his bike. We stayed for lunch and coffee. I just love this place. It has GREAT CHARACTER in so many ways, you need to check it out for yourself. I'm sure the motorcycle repairs and service is great, they certainly had the part my son was looking for, but what I'm able to comment on mostly is the atmosphere and the food. The veggie sandwich was excellent, as was the coffee, and my son loved his grilled chesse. I did read the whole menu. the selection is great and I love the choices for alcoholic drinks, also a big part of the character. Anyway, this is worth a trip just to have a snack or lunch for sure and check it out. And a good way to spend your time if the repair isn't taking so long. I'm going back to try the ice cream sandwich for sure!

rainy day walked through the door and found the room was warm and inviting. staff friendly food fabulous, grilled cheese probably one of the best with pickled red onions. delicious home made soup with flavour and substance. husband thrilled with pulled pork and scrambled eggs breakfast wrap. not to mention ya gotta love a place that plays The Highwaymen music.

We hosted a private function for 50 people. The food and service were excellent and the group really enjoyed the venue. The space works well for a social event - lots of space for mingling and ample seating. Great value - highly recommended.

I wanted to stop by Wheelies during our Victoria vacation because I thought my parents would get a kick out of it. I had read that the food was good, but honestly, I wasn't expecting much. Let me tell you...I was wrong. The sandwiches were amazing. Two of us got the pork sandwiches and two of us got the veg sandwiches. Given that my brother is a vegan, I really appreciate that their veg sandwich is vegan as-is...no modifications needed. The pork sandwich was similar to a Bahn Mi and if you've ever had Num Pang, you'll see that there's a similar flavor profile going on here. My dad also got the Mac n' Cheese (weirdly none of the rest of us like Mac n' cheese so it's always special for him when he gets to eat it) and said it was some of the best he had ever had. The cook and waitress were super friendly and the playlist was awesome. You don't often get to hear Wooden Shjips while enjoying one of the best sandwiches of your life.
