Amazing smells nice relaxing atmosphere. I love all the different chocolates. They have areas for sitting and just eating chocolates.

Google
This chocolate is amazing! Stopped in while waiting for a table at the restaurant next door. So glad I did. We got some Easter candy, bunnies and malt balls. All was amazing! Wish I had bought more to bring home with me. I live in PA and will be ordering chocolate online from here, it’s that good!

I'm not sure if Susan, moved the Tip Jar, because I Wasn't attired right (in my work cloths) or what.. while I was standing at the register sliding my credit card for my order, she proceeded to grab the tip jar and stick it on the counter behind the register. Broke my heart susan!

Whetstone Chocolate is a must go-to stop if you take a trip to St. Augustine! I say this with one 100% seriousness! Whetstone is the proverbial mecca for Chocolate! So much so that if Jesus hinself came back tomorrow. Instead of giving us bread as his body. He'd be giving us Whetstone truffles! Whetstone chocolates are not just good for the body, but for the soul as well! So much so that you will fall in love all over again. Where if you stand outside and listening to the words of the wind. You will hear it whisper "Whetstone". I have never had such wonderful chocolate in my life. And I would make it a point to fly out to St. Augustine just to restock on chocolate!

Yelp
Great chocolate store with lots and lots to choose from. Every type and kind of chocolate you can eat even chocolate to put in your coffee. My sister grabbed a couple chocolates prices aren't cheap here It came to 20 bucks for a bag of chocolate and four little balls. But great place to come if you need a chocolate fix or need a gift. They also serve ice cream. Friendly staff beautiful store.

Yelp
This location, on Anastasia Island, is by far the quietest and largest store the company has. I for one love it because there are multiple areas both inside and outside that you can sit down at and enjoy what you have bought there. The only thing I do not like about this place is how small the parking lot is as well as its not being very specific what is enough room for you to park when there are other cars in the lot as well. The staff is always overly friendly and attentive, and I love how welcoming they are as well. On my recent trip, I got a bag of their Menedez chocolate, which is their dark chocolate, as well as a handful of their signature chocolate shells. The creaminess of the chocolate is superb, and you get a very nice amount of the squares in the bags when you buy them. Prices are reasonable, especially because they are a smaller chocolate factory, and the flavors they have for the shells are amazing. One of my favorite flavors is the Valencia orange or the KeyLime shells! You can also buy the shells pre-boxed or individually. I love buying them individually because I can get a huge spread of flavors instead of just three or four in a box with a few of each. The location also sells gelato (homemade) and many different drinks like hot chocolate, frozen hot chocolate and many coffee options! I recommend trying a sample of their sherry topping for ice-cream because it is heavenly!

Yelp
We really enjoyed our gelato and cappuccinos from here. We didn't grab any chocolates, but I'm a huge fan of gelato. I asked if it was like Italy, and the workers explained that the owner took classes in Italy. Very impressive and some of the best I've had in America. We also enjoyed the courtyard to get away from the craziness of the area. A really beautiful and quiet area.

Yelp
We visited Saint Augustine and went on a tour here and learned so much about the history for the location the owners and how they make chocolate. And we got to try many different pieces that were good!

Yelp
Stumbled upon this location while staying nearby on a road trip. We tried some truffles and fudge that were both amazing! Prices were a little steep in my opinion so didn't get much but enjoyed hearing the company history from the employees. Would like to visit the factory location in the future.

Yelp
Really great chocolate and I am picky and justing moving from CA where See's candy rules but I thought the chocolate cordials were better than See's. Chocolate was very smooth and creamy. If you love chocolate you have to go. Very fast in and out right off the road. And service was great too!

Yelp
We stopped in on our way back to our hotel after a day in downtown St. Augustine. We were very surprised to see that the shop was empty in the middle of the day. The shop is big and spacious and has several displays of Chocolates and Gelato. The employee was friendly and helpful. We opted to try some Gelato which was rich and creamy, and both kinds were packed with flavor. With three locations in St. Augustine, you definitely want to check them out.

Yelp
I was given some whetstone chocolates as a gift and I was so delighted! This is some of the best chocolate I've ever had! I definitely recommend any kind of treats that whetstone offers!!!!!!!!!

Yelp
My triplet sisters and I stopped into Whetstone during our stay in St. Augustine to celebrate our 50th birthday! All I have to say is YUM!!!!!!! We got a little bit of MANY items and loved it ALL!! The sales lady (we forgot her name, so sorry!) gave us a quick history rundown of Whetstone! The malted milk balls were the BOMB-DIGGITY! We will be stopping in before we leave town and getting some more chocolate!!

Patty M.

Yelp
We stopped here before leaving on the bridge on the way to Georgia, it is was amazing! You can tell that they care a lot about the quality of the meal. For the hot chocolate, the server said "this isn't hot enough" and decided to remake the hot chocolate, proving their care. From the gelato to the chocolates in the bags, this place really is a vibe. Definitely a must do in St. Augustine.

Yelp
Loved the gelato. Key lime pie gelato in florida! Thats a win for me. They make their own.

Yelp
I'm going to agree with the many reviews that are blasting the staff. Wife and I went for the tasting tour. The cashier was not very welcoming The tour guide tried to be funny at the guests expense. She should NOT be dealing with the public. We walked off the tour. I don't recommend wasting your money or time.

Lubert V.

Yelp
pay for you tour. Hersey is free coupon only works when at tour. even though encourage to book on line
google avatar

Zabrina G.

Yelp
Oh my goodness... this shop is a "must" when you are in the area. We did not do the chocolate tour but we did walk away with a haul of chocolate. Dark chocolate-covered cherries, orange and raspberry chocolate shells and a bottle of their chocolate cabernet sauce. Wow... the bottle of cabernet chocolate sauce is everything. We tried it drizzled over cheesecake when we got home and it's a winner! Customer service was very friendly and all of the chocolate tasted very fresh and delicious.

Yelp
Stopped in to order what everyone was raving about, that frozen hot chocolate. What I actually ordered was the Frozen Hot Chocolate Expresso, wow that was good...I guess I need to go back and order the regular Frozen Hot Chocolate but really adding the expresso to it was oh so good.
google avatar

Yelp
We took the tour and enjoyed it! Great chocolate! Nice staff! Great for different date option!

Yelp
I came in here to buy some holiday gifts on my way home from work. Just across the bridge with plenty of easy places to park. I was treated to 2 of the ladies working there asking me if they could dance for me. Sure! One was teaching the other the dance pattern to something I didn't know anything about. Anyway, they were delightful. They helped me pick out the right kind of hot cocoa mix. And various other gifts. Surprisingly, not a huge dent out of my pocket. Oh and they had gelt! (chocolate coins for Hanukkah) Delicious gelt. So if you get stuck waiting for the bridge, pull a U and come enjoy some local chocolates. Oh and I forgot one of the best parts -- locals get a 10% discount!

Yelp
Chocolate was delicious especially the various bon-bons and the peanut butter cups. The ladies that work here are excellent at customer service and told us the history of these chocolatiers as well as the importance of their artisan work. We will be back and we highly recommend this location which is away from the hustle and bustle.

Yelp
Nice, homey chocolate shop with a large selection. Stopped here on a chilly day in search of some chocolatey hot chocolate. Whetstone did not disappoint. The kind woman working there was very friendly and helpful. We couldn't help but purchase some chocolates in addition to our warm beverage. One sip of the hot chocolate and I was very, very pleased. It was nice and rich, just like I like it. The chocolates were pretty good too. Recommended.

Yelp
This location is on the outskirts of town. After enjoying treats at the downtown location, I could not let BJ drive by here on our way out of town without stopping for more treats! Same great choices, and same good service.

Bekah M.

Yelp
This place is AMAZING!!! If your visiting you need to go the chocolate is to die for.

Yelp
If you're staying on Anastasia Island (St. Augustine Beach, Butler Beach, Crescent Beach, etc), then this is a MUST stop! It is just over the Bridge of Lions, on the island side - so if you're walking across the bridge, I would also stop in for a gelato or frozen hot chocolate. Whetstone has 2 or 3 other locations in the Old Town, but they are more crowded and your purchases are likely to melt before you get home, but this location is on the way to the beaches! Their artisan chocolates truly are exceptional. Better than Kilwin's, in my opinion. As I type this, one of their Menendez dark chocolates is melting in my mouth and it is HEAVEN.

Yelp
Fabulous....everything was sooo good ! Bought enough until we return to St Augustine next month. Excellent store and chocolate !
google avatar

Nikita B.

Yelp
So good and way better experience than the one on St. George street. We will go to this one from now on... Not only is this one way less crowded but the women behind the counter was sooo nice. She made sure we tasted the gelato before ordering to make sure we liked our flavor.. I had the mint cookie and my boyfriend had the chocolate almond. The mint was very strong but yummy. The chocolate was to die for though so creamy and tasted like heaven. We also ordered a few chocolates... all were delicious *almost to rich* but stay away from the chocolate orange peels... they're just...weird.

Yelp
We stopped by on a whim on the way out of St. Augustine. Nice atmosphere, tons of variety, good selections of gifts as well. They were friendly and more than happy to accommodate special requests! For example, while there was no affogato on the menu, we asked for an espresso poured over a scoop of gelato and they did it for us, with enthusiasm! Gelato, espresso, frozen hot chocolate, and tons of beautiful chocolates, something for everyone. If you like chocolate, you will enjoy this a lot!

Candido R.

Yelp
We took the chocolate making tour. It's about an hour long and details how it all began. They gave out samples and we were taken to where the magic happens except it was Sunday and no one was working. Overall I would skip it.

Karissa R.

Yelp
I am a local and enjoy bring out of town guest to whetstone to get some local chocolate. But will never bring anyone to this location. After arriving to to a full parking lot I tried to drive around the building and exit but was unable to, I had backup which was very difficult with the small parking lot and washed out lot. Once I found a spot down the road and walk in I spoke to Mary about the car on the side of the building blocking the drive around. She said it was hers and the had an attitude about "NEEDING" to park there and how it was not an inconvenience for anyone. I then told her it was difficult to maneuver and if the car was not there it would of been easier to exit the parking lot. She then asked what the problem was and I left the store with out buying anything. I will not be back to this location.

Yelp
Who doesn't like chocolate? This place has a unique twist of their iced hot chocolate. Upon entering you're greeted and I walked around taking in the gifts to purchase and settled on a perfect mug for a dear friend. I browsed the display cases and was bummed that they didn't have more of a selection. I truly was expecting more. I ordered a truffle and an iced hot chocolate and meandered on my way. I give this place the 4 stars merely because the chocolate was delicious, the gifts were unique, there was adequate parking, but I thought there would be more. The saving grace was the DIVINE drink! Wow, that iced hot chocolate alone deserves a four stars. This is what made this place stand out and if you want a unique cold drink, try this place out!

Yelp
Very nice place with many things to enjoy while blowing a diet - if you diet. One day I'm going to leave my guilt at the door and have a gelato and a couple chocolates!

Susasn v.

Yelp
Excellent assortment of goodies including gelato and iced coffee made with coffee ice cubes. The chocolate sauces are very good and very tempting! Friendly staff and eager to please.
google avatar

Brandon D.

Yelp
Only an average review. The coffee was good, but the maple praline candy I bought was hard and very dried out. Unfortunately, I travelled about 30 minutes to my destination before trying it -- it wasn't worth another hour round trip to bring it back.

Shannon L.

Yelp
I was in chocolate overload when I entered the store. A knowledgeable and friendly staff member helped me to select the perfect chocolates and Carmel's. We even had a couple of coffee drinks which tasted better than Starbucks !!
google avatar

Shawna L.

Yelp
The best fudge ever! My mother in law is a fudge junkie, we have brought home fudge for her from all over. This is honestly the only fudge that we have had that the flavors are not over powered by the sugar. The peanut butter and chocolate was unbelievable, followed by the dark carmel sea salt. Must try!

Yelp
Taking a tour through the chocolate factory is a great way to enjoy a rainy day in St. Augustine. We had a jolly host (Aa-Ron) and wonderful chocolate.

Kristen G.

Yelp
Absolutely the past part of our trip in St. Augustine, the chocolate tour with Storm was the best he made a very good experience for my boyfriend I and the chocolate was amazing!!!
