This was our first food stop when we got to Whidbey Island, and we couldn't have been happier. We got here around 12:45 pm on a Sunday afternoon. There wasn't a line to order, but there were a couple of people waiting for their orders.
There weren't too many bagels in the baskets in display, so we asked if they had any other types of bagels other then the ones in their basket. They seem to be making bagels throughout the day, which is a huge plus (fresh bagels? yes, please). I got a turkey club on an everything bagel, while my husband got a heart attack on an everything bagel, along with an americano and a double shot of espresso. The drinks were ready super quick, the sandwiches did take a little longer. But man, was that wait worth it. There was a steady stream of customers as well. It seemed quicker to just get bagels and cream cheese containers to go if you want to make it quick.
My husband and I were starving, and MAN did these bagels hit the spot. The turkey club was SO good. I scarfed it down. My husband loved his heart attack (ham, sausage, egg, cheese). Most of all, those bagels were amazing. They were that good chewy on the inside, with a great exterior. I really wish I would have gotten a sweet bagel (cinnamon raisin or something) with cream cheese too. My husband and I talked about those bagels the whole time we were on Whidbey. Next time we're on Whidbey Island, we will most def. be making a stop here.
