This town is absolutely adorable! I had to visit because of my practical magic. There are great restaurants, cute shops, and incredibly friendly people. The ferry is easy to take, but make sure to make reservations if you want to go to San Juan or Port Angeles. I highly recommend this town and will definitely come back.

I go up there 2 to 3 times a year to visit my Son it's so beautiful there . I think the deer own the island there every where in yards , fields, even standing on street corners in town they are so beautiful to watch .the beaches are fun to walk on you can go from one side of the island to the other in 10 min it's great.

Great experience on this island and honestly not much crowded as well. There was a looong line to get onto the ferry so definitely plan for it in advance and be on time. There are many places on the island to have a great family picnic also farmer markets are available .many beach access points were blocked however you can find alternates like Lagoon point etc . While leaving the island do make sure to pay a visit to Deception pass

Such a peaceful and beautiful island and a gateway to many more places. You can always tell when salmon season opens as the boats near the island are thick and filled with hope 😂 Great local restaurants and shops to fill your time.

My parents lived on Whidbey Island back in the late 80s. They lived there for 5 to 6 years. It's a beautiful, peaceful, and fresh little Island with greens everywhere. It's an island, alright. It hit home.
