Alex hosted our masterclass this past weekend. With a great sense of humour, wealth of knowledge and vibrant energy she took the group on a journey of what was involved to establish the distillery, make their first whiskey, survive the pandemic and onto more recent years of success. The entire process from grain to bottle was thoroughly covered as we walked through the distillery and deep-dived into what makes Whipper Snapper special. The variety of tastings were excellent, with plenty of time allocated for sipping, socialising, banter and questions. I’m a Perth local and I’m unhappy with myself for not visiting sooner! I highly recommend this tour, the distillery and their products! See you soon team. Ps. Cosy cafe by the bar front for your morning fix and a bite to eat too!

Attended the Whiskey Master Class on Saturday 27th Sept. It was a fantastic experience and well worth doing. I learnt so much about whiskey and the Whipper Snapper Distillery and their leading role in Australian Whiskey Production. I found a much renewed appreciation for the product! The tour guide, Alex, was awesome ... she was super knowledgeable, fun, approachable and made the whole experience one that I would definitely do again. Highly recommend the Master Class and Alex!! My husband and I did the masterclass tour. The tour guide Alex was excellent; she really knows her stuff and explained things clearly. The guided tastings at the end were excellent too. I learnt a few things I didn't previously know about whiskey making in Australia.

A top-shelf drop. Stopped for a taste and stayed for afternoon. A distillery established due to the love and appreciation for whiskey, and it shows. Their dedication to their craft is evident in every batch. It was well worth spending the afternoon enjoying their creations.

Had a fantastic experience at Whipper Snapper over the weekend. We had a voucher to do the Whiskey Masterclass experience and it was absolutely fantastic. Matt lead our group through the entire distilling process in great detail, and the tastings and snacks at the end were of course a great end to the day. We would happily be back!

We won 2 tickets for the Whipper Snapper tour and tasting. We called the morning we wanted to go on the tour and booked in. The tour was great. Our guide was informative and encouraged everyone to have a look or a smell of each part of the tour, it was super interesting. After the tour we had a couple of tastings. There are quite a few to try from - moonshine, aged moonshine or flavour infused moonshine. Their story is really interesting in my opinion and it was nice to support an upcoming local business. If you are looking for something different to do, give it a go... Especially if you are interested in / love whiskey, like me!!!

Such a great addition to the otherwise booooooring East Perth area. This place has recently opened and it is already becoming popular with locals & office workers alike. At the core they are a distillery producing whiskey & their own "moonshine" however at the front of the shop they have a coffee window, pumping out takeaway coffees and yummy looking cakes/muffins/slices. I stopped by this morning for a takeaway flat white (don't judge me on my boring coffee preference :P ) and it was lovely. Stong, creamy and the perfect temperature. Very happy to have this place so close to my work! Will have to return for some lunch time whiskey tastings :P

A secluded coffee/ distillery in east Perth. Great place to stop by on the way to work. Once I even persuaded my husband to try it out, and causing him to be late for work. He said it was worth it! My fav order being the croissant- buttery with the ham and cheese already rolled in, and not just 'added'. This sounds mad, but I like to grab a takeaway coffee and chat to the barristas. They are very friendly and informative, even at 7.30am! Unfortunately they don't serve a full breakfast or lunch menu. The distillery itself has 'moonshine' and other bits of merchandise for sale. Apparently the moonshine alcohol is an old uncle's recipe. Alistair; who co-owns the place had mentioned that Saturday tours are being operated but you have to book ahead. Would be nice to know what happens behind the scenes.

A beautiful distillery in a random part of town (if I had to describe it in a few words)! Attended an event here this evening and oh my - what a beautiful space! The main area is large and "romantically" lit, with beautiful fairy lights hanging from the ceiling. The atmosphere is very social and cheery, the staff very helpful and professional. Great drinks list - whichever champagne I did try (too excited to drink it to find out the name) was delish! Can't wait to pop by for coffee in the future.
