I come here to buy chocolate every once a while. I enjoyed the Polish Baron 80% cacao chocolate bars and the French Jacquot 80% cacao bars when they were imported by the sales man or owner here. It's a good place for me to purchase coke zero or Pepsi zero when I buy the soft drinks here or other sodas and ice tea here. The items have changed here depending on where it's ordered or shipped from and some of the Mars Dove Dark Chocolate bars that I have purchased for $1.25-$1.50 each have been bloomed or not in good condition or may pass the expiration date.

Whiskey Well is the best liquor store in the San Gabriel Valley. There is always an excellent selection of hard-to-find domestic and imported beers in stock and sold at reasonable prices. The store also features an eclectic mix of red and white wines, along with a variety of tequila, bourbon, and vodka, to name a few. The owner is a super nice guy with impeccable taste. If he doesn't have what you want, then he'll order it. If you can't decide what you feel like drinking, ask him, and you’ll be glad you did. In the years that I've been going there, he has never steered me wrong. I don't live close Whiskey Well, but I'm more than happy to drive the extra distance knowing that I will find I'm looking for or discover something I've never tried. This place is the jewel of Hacienda Heights. Go and see for yourself, you won't regret it.

Huge selection. Owner is super helpful. German beers, Mexican beers, Australian beers, probably 50 different IPAs. Good location plenty of parking and great prices. This is my go to spot for all My Beers. Cheers 🍻

This liquor has a new owner, and boy am I glad it does. Now they have all kinds of different beers to choose from and that's not all. I found Spider Energy at this place too! The guy that took over is very friendly and helpful. Can't go wrong with this place.

Great spot to buy drinks, you pay the same as you would a cvs or vons but without the big check out lines. The owner is a super great guy who is always friendly and reasonable. You wont forget this spot if you've been here. Also a great spot of you love IPA drinks.

First of all, I want to preface this by saying this store is not, NOT, not closed! I was just there 24 hours ago and I wanna say the service is excellent. He's got an amazing selection and he always loves to talk your ear off, but he's so friendly and helps you find what you need.

This place is open. It was never closed. Whomever said it was closed is a liar and should be banned from YELP!!

This is probably my favorite liquor store I have been to. It has everything you are looking for and if there is something that is not there you can just talk to the owner and he can provide a great recommendation for a similar product. This is a family run business and they are great people, who make you feel welcomed when you come in and are very easy to talk to. The parking situation is non existent as there are plenty of spaces for this store and the neighboring businesses. This is a quick in and out location that excels in price and variety. If you are in the area please visit this location you will not be disappointed.

Love this store. The owner is a great guy who you can chat with for a long time. He always has new and exciting products and items that are hard to find. Highly recommend stopping by.

Pretty good little store. There's not much of a beer selection but it's got the basics and a few good things. The liquor and wine stock is very good. They have people giving out samples sometimes on weekends. Service is friendly, prices are reasonable. Easier to get in and out than a grocery store.

Cool little neighborhood liquor store! The owner is really nice. They have a back cooler filled with different kinds of craft beer. My husband and I come here when we are in the mood for a good IPA!

This is the best liquor store in the tri-city area. I've been coming here since I was sixteen! I grew up on Whiskey Well liquor. From MD2020 to Four Loko to UV I've had it all when I was younger. I now drink Grey Goose and Belvedere when I'm feeling like I want vodka, and they have much much more than that. Great craft beers and the best tequila selection in the city! I also get my wine here and they have a HUGE selection of both red and white, room temperature and chilled, affordable and expensive. It's also one of the few liquor stores that sells French champagne in the area such as Perrier Jouet and Moët and Chandon. Come here ASAP. Their selection will not disappoint you!

So....I've got a mean ass craving for chinese beer to go with my chinese food....thank heavens that two doors down from the china star restaurant is the 'ol whiskey well! I peruse the goods and encounter all kindsa inviting spirits and beverages.....fairly unique/extensive wine selection...for a liquor store anyways...the ridiculously TALL PINT of Tsingtao screams out at me like a banshee....and I am determined to give it a good home. =) The elder lady at the counter is super sweet like bear meat.....and is crazy enough to ask this old twenty something husband and father for IDENTIFICATION/proof of drinking age! i giggle like a schoolgirl and happily oblige! =) By the way...my chinese food marries PERFECTLY with the Tsingtao and i drift happily into a chinese food and beer coma. =)

Amazing customer service. It's a family run business and the owners are extremely nice and caring! I have had a hard time finding the rose I love and Ray was kind enough to give me a call as soon as he received the cases! Can't thank him enough will definitely be coming here often or ordering via Drizzly

BevMo! lite, sorta. It's a mom and pop operations. Looks like any other liquor store except it has a good selection of micro brews not normally found else where, which makes me a fan. Crafted beer beats corporate brew any day. Thumbs up, but as always, let me know what you think.

Ordered through Drizly. The owner, Reeman, is a gem. He offered the perfect replacement for a sold-out item. He was patient, kind, and very much wanted to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. We did! Great experience. Do not hesitate to order from here.

I dropped by for the first time in my life yesterday. I never knew this place was here, right next to my house! Then again I turned 21 this year so that explains it. But anyway, this place is amazing!! Their craft beer selection is really quite unbelievable. There are even some beers I haven't seen before; which is impressive since I go to Bevmo like every week. But seeing as this place is right next to my house, I'm definitely not gonna keep driving 30 minutes to Bevmo. Also, the guy who owns the place is GREAT. He's super friendly and easy to talk to. A lot of people were asking him questions about the beers and he was very knowledgeable in each of them. It seems like he has tried all of the beers himself too. He's really nice and he's the reason my first visit to this store was such a fun one. Ambience: normally I wouldn't talk about ambience of a store. But this place really had a life of its own. It was POPPIN. like it was people going in and out of there all day. It was super packed, which is all the more impressive when you consider it's a small liquor store. As for the store contents, there are tons of hard liquor in the back, and there's wine on the shelves too! But my primary interest was the beer so I can't say much about the wine selection since I really don't know wine. But anyway! All in all it's an amazing Wonderland of craft beer and I was so happy when I stepped into the store LOL. The owner is really friendly and super cool. Definitely check this place out!!

For anyone who appreciates craft beer, This is the place for you!!! The Whiskey Well carries the largest range of American Craft, boutique IPA, Belgium Craft and general imports I have ever seen in one place other than in the central business districts of large cities such as San Francisco or New York. They carry Belgium beers that are even hard to find in Europe. They also have a great selection of beer from The UK and Australia as well as several beers from Japan and Thailand that go great with spicy Asian food that can be found around the local area (Rowland Heights) If you are serious with beer food pairing, the selection of high alcohol beers from Belgium is a must for you. If you don't live in the San Gabriel Valley I highly recommend that you take a trip to visit this location, you won't regret it!

Always friendly service here! My only complaint is that I didn't win on my Mega Millions ticket! Ha Ha!

This is the only place I buy my adult beverages. The selection is great with tons of different beers from all my favorite breweries, wine and liquor. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable regarding his inventory and is just plain fun to talk to. My friend was looking for a birthday gift for me and the owner told him what my go to drinks were, gave him a small discount and sent him on his way. If you appreciate small business where the owner remembers you and takes an interest in your life to go along with a great selection of alcoholic beverages this should be your new go to location.

The Whiskey Well is great. They have whatever you're in the mood for. The beers: Imported, Domestic, Craft brews, 40s, Malt Liquor. If you're a fan of Colt 45 Blast, this is the only place in HH that carries all 4 flavors of it. They have pretty much every kind of hard liquor too, at great prices. The new owner, Ray, takes the time to learn your name and know what you like. If you ask him whats on sale, he'll knock off a buck or two on whatever it is you like. Theres usually plenty of parking too. The only knock on the place is sometimes theres this crazy homeless guy who hangs outside and makes demonic noises when he yells at you. Its literally some crazy ass noise. -------------------------------- update 10/20/12 The crazy, demonic noise making homeless guy has drifted elsewhere. Also, the selection of craft beers has about doubled up. --------------------------- update 10/7/13 Ray still has a large selection of craft beers, and now has a nice variety of tequila. His recommendations are spot on (most of the time).

This store has a strong selection of American and Belgian singles along with some other international bottles. The family staff is a pleasure in the way they individually interact with and cater to customers. I'm glad to support this local store.

Now that the whiskey well is under new management it's a great liquor store. the array of beers to choose from and liquor is pretty cool too. Jim and Grace let this place fall apart but now it looks great.

Pretty good craft beer selection. Picked up enjoy by 9.20.14 for $10. They had many others including Knuckle Sandwich which I was surprised to see. Prices are fair.
