Whisky Bar Leichhardt

If you are a whisky lover , you must visit this place for a drink. The collections they provided will blow your mind. They usually will ask you for 1/2 shot or 1 shot per drink. And they will let you know about the price first. The master is so knowledgeable and he definitely surprise your palate with something you never try before .

Found this hidden gem through another whisky bar. So glad we found it! They got very nice and old cognac and whisky. The cocktails are very nice too! We came here 3 nights in a row during our visit to Fukuoka and the owner said it’s his first time to have customers visiting 3 nights in a row!

The best place in Kyushu for whisky. Excellent range of Japanese Whiskies, especially the new distilleries. The owner of the bar, Yu, speaks excellent English. Tap on his extensive experience to discover something new. Good selections of cigars as well!

One of the best Whisky bars in Fukuoka. A definite must visit if you love whisky, especially limited or rare bottlings.

Yu is an AMAZING and knowledgeable bartender, with an equally friendly and welcoming staff. The variety of single malt whiskys are impressive, and each one selected for my flight by Yu had very complex unique flavors unlike any of the US and European ones I have tried before. The trails, or よいん、were superb - each a unique dance to experience - each with its own calligraphy signature on the tongue. Many of these bottles are no longer available on the market, and can only be found in places like this - so treasure each sip! Come explore this hidden gem and find a new favorite whisky!

Great atmosphere with an incredible whiskey collection. We were not given a menu, or price list. My girlfriend and I shared 1 oz. of a local Japanese whiskey that had been aged in old bourbon barrels. It's a new (2021) whiskey, not rare. We were charged 5,940 yen ($38 USD) which included a tax and cover charge. Also, be aware, there is likely to be cigarette/and or cigar smoke. The whiskey was good but since we had no idea what we were paying until we asked for the bill we were not keen on trying more.

One of great whisky bar next to my hotel. Plenty of whisky selection here. Staff is knowledgeable and polite. Great service.

Bar tender/owner is super knowledgeable on whisky and fluent in English. Had the chance to try out some discounted NIKKA. Cigar friendly. Can spend all day at this joint.
