A wonderful place. We stayed in the strawbale cottage. Very spacious with a nice terrace. The fridge was filles with breakfast stuff like freshly baked bread, cheese, eggs. They have a great farmshop with so many delicious things: jams, cakes, patsta, soups, vegetables, fruits. Very nice couple runs the place.|This was one of the best stays on Tasmania.

Review of the farm gate stall: So glad we made the trip off the main road to come and check out the farm gate shop! It’s a cute little shed (unmanned) that you can buy so much stuff from! Homemade treats, jams, ice creams (would HIGHLY recommend the ice cream) and sometimes fresh produce!

Strawbale Cottage was an absolute delight. Every conceivable thing we required for self-catering was supplied, even breakfast supplies for our first morning. The Cottage has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, wood-burning stove, 3 comfy lounges, great wi-fi, comfy beds. One bathroom has shower over spa-bath, the other has a walk-in shower. The Cottage is very private, and feels like you are the only ones there. Very quiet, very comfortable. We LOVED it. Thank you so much for your hospitality Heidi.

We stayed in Strawbale Cottage and loved it. Wood burning fire in the lounge heated up the whole cabin. It was 8 degrees outside (February) and 20 degrees inside. Absolutely everything we needed for self-catering. Full sized fridge/freezer, stove and oven. Two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 comfy lounges plus a washer and dryer. Extremely private and quiet country setting. We enjoyed feeding the Shetland ponies at our back fence. Wi-fi is excellent. Phone service (telstra) was fine.

Absolutely wonderful! We stayed in the strawbale cottage, very large and beautifully decorated with lovely gardens. So warm and comfortable with fireplace, heaters and electric blankets. The spa bath was big enough for 2, very luxurious. Full kitchen. They provided a home baked loaf and farm fresh eggs and breakfast stuff on arrival with other goodies at their stall in the way in. Also very private. Our 3yo loved to pet and feed the miniature ponies that came to say hello at the back fence. We stayed an extra night and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

Loved our stay here. Heidi lovely. (Don't be put off by a bit of dirt road, very smooth easy 2kms up rd). We stayed in Strawbale Cottage, 2 bed 2 bath, (1 with shower over spa bath) lots towels, large kitchen, full fridge, heaps appliances & more...breakfast supplies, Netflix a bonus, large cottage & LIVE Pademelons visiting outside windows, (as too many road kill), goats & chickens on property too. Very enjoyable 2 night stay, gr8 value. Highly recommended.

My family of four returned to this cottage for a second time this year, Each time we are greeted with breakfast provisions of freshly laid eggs, fresh bread, etc.|The strawbale cottage is unique and filled with everything you might need. A lovely wood fire to keep us warm and cook marshmallows on.,A spa, 2 bathrooms, and beautiful views from the living room window.|. Outside there is a farm to explore. Miniature ponies to take for a walk and a farm store of Heidis freshly made bread, preserves, frozen berries and gourmet ice creams. |Nearby Huonville has a Woolworths and many other shops.|Geeveston in the other direction has a spectacular visitors centre. a lolly shop and a wonderful bakery

Just returned from a lovely two night stay with my family. Luxurious and warm spa bath, ample room to stretch out and a wood heater so productive it made sleeping under a duvet in the middle of winter almost impossible! Can hardly imagine why the electric blankets would ever be used. Beautiful surrounds, the kids enjoyed climbing trees and getting the animals. We left with some frozen organic red currants as well.
