Whistler over the 2025 Thanksgiving weekend. Limited snow but much better than expected and you can never really go wrong with a Whistler trip!

Great place to hike and take in the views! When you get to Roundhouse, you can take the chairlift up to the peak and walk the skybridge. The peak is around 7100ft tall! Also, a black diamond trail, High note trail (which connects with Half note) can be found, it starts close to the other side of the bridge. At first High note was downhill, fairly steep at times, but not bad. Further along, it becomes meadow for most of the rest and isn't too hard. Some great places to lookout and see Cheakamus lake from the trail. Soon after the lookout area, it's possible to continue high note or go on half note. Half note was much more difficult than the earlier meadows, with a big boulder field and a sharp ascent. It had amazing views of all of the surrounding mountains, especially Overlord mountain and its huge glacier. Further up after the sharp incline, half note ended, so we went right down the Pika Traverse Road to get back to Roundhouse. Gondola down closes at around 5 so plan to be back by then. All trails are marked with hiking signs or green flags. There's a lineup but groups of 1-2 people can pass on the left to get ahead.

A lot to see and do. I bet that you could not do it all in one day. Definitely a long weekend might see it all, but a must see trip. I cannot say enough about Whistler/ Vancouver. A trip of a lifetime.

Drove in and found parking. Lots of parking space. First thing we felt was the cold. Temperature was low. Good thing I wore multiple layers. This place is amazing. We walked around the village and the atmosphere was very chill. You can go up the mountain in a gondola cart thingy and so many other activities. We just walked around for this trip. I can see myself bring the wife and stay a few days. Oh, and the Starbucks is soooooo warm. Grab a seat and get warmed up.

One must go place in Whistler. Well known for Ski ⛷️ Snowboarding 🏂. And surprisingly great for summer hike/walk. The view is amazing on the peak of Whistler mountain 🏔️

A cornerstone of one of North America's largest ski resorts. Its expansive, varied terrain offers world-class skiing in winter and a network of hiking and biking trails in summer, accessible via a sophisticated network of gondolas high above the vibrant Whistler Village.

Google
One of the best ski and snowboard resorts in the world! Huge amount of terrain and tons of runs! Give yourself at least a week to get familiar with both mountains. Get to the top of the Peak Chair or 7th Heaven on a clear day for stunning views. Downhill bike park opens spring summer and fall. Not much open October and November.

Whistler mountain is a great place to ski in the winter. It has lots of super fun runs with tons of variety. Runs vary in difficulty from green - double black. In the summer, the biking is also amazing with lots of cool trails and tons of fun jumps. Overall, there isn’t really a bad time to go to whistler mountain.
