Excellent Location and Cozy Stay! We stayed at Whistler Peak Lodge during our recent road trip through British Columbia, and it was a fantastic experience. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of Whistler Village, just steps away from restaurants, shops, and the gondola. The room was clean, quiet, and well-equipped with everything we needed, including a small kitchen, comfy bed, and even a fireplace that made our evenings extra cozy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth and easy. Considering the reasonable price for such a central location, we were more than happy with our stay. Whether you're visiting for skiing, hiking, or just relaxing, I definitely recommend Whistler Peak Lodge for a comfortable and convenient base.

The location was excellent. Having parking, even though it felt like a maze at first, was great. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed and more. We cooked no problem and I was surprised to see a washing machine and dryer, even though I didn't use them. The murphy/wall bed was comfy too. My only complaint is the noise. There is zero soundproofing between rooms, but you can't hear anything over the world's loudest air-conditioner anyway. Id stay here again but I'd use the fan in the closet and unplug the ac.

Not a bad spot. Very good location next to the Pan Pacific, right in the village. Staff is nice and helpful. Our aircon and fridge were noisy, and on warm days the loft gets toasty. No bells and whistles but great value for Whistler.

First the good. Linen and towels were surprisingly good and the mattress comfortable. Location was great, but that's about it. Even with windows closed, you'll hear people yelling below till the wee hours.|Now the not-so-good. Our suite and the whole building interior in general is in need of a complete and major overhaul. The elevators are old and slow, many of the exterior doors do not close properly, carpets, furnishing, lighting all look dated and worn, and some lighting fixtures in our suite did not work. Wifi and TV worked fine though.|As other reviewers have mentioned, the hallways are a convoluted mess to navigate and so is the underground parking shared with public and Pan Pacific. At least the parking spots are normal widths - unlike the Glaciers Reach we've also stayed in.|We happened to bump into a couple with youngster two floors up who told us they had to move out in the middle of the night to the "expensive" Pan Pacific next door because they got freaked out from seeing a mouse running around in their suite. They were only compensated with an upgraded suite for the remainder of their stay.|We are very long-time Whistler visitors and have seen the Village develop and grow from it's conception. But having stayed at the Whistler Peak Lodge, seeing and experiencing the condition of the lodge, we feel embarrassed for what Whistler has to showcase. The Lodge certainly does not live up to the standard this world class resort portrays.

We loved having this suite with a kitchen and a loft. It's right in the heart of Whistler village where we could find interesting things to do and food to enjoy but with the peaceful atmosphere of our own space. We have two very picky eaters in our family so it was extra nice to have the kitchen where I could prepare healthy meals for my children. The suite is very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen has the very basic things one might need. I wish there were slightly better cooking tools. Plastics prevail in this kitchen, but for the price it was perfect! There is also a lovely view from the street facing windows.

Room was pretty nice but the bathroom was clearly uncleaned from the last guest. Lots of hair in the bath tub and when i later filled it with water a gross sludgy-viscousy fluid was floating around in the water. Other than the washroom it was a decent room

I had the best stay at this location! We have stayed in Whistler many times and this is our favourite place so far due to the location!! I also love that there isn't any housekeeping unless you contact them. No need for a DND sign as they are not going to bother you. I love being 'home' and taking care of my own kitchen and belongings without worrying about a knock at the door. ||The pictures on the websites look very plain, however the room is very large, bright and functional. Internet was fantastic as I had two different online meetings on different days... not a single glitch with either of them!||The only things that aren't perfect, but are just fine is that the elevator can be slow at times and the front desk staff aren't fully trained, but are very polite. I will absolutely be staying here again!! Thank you!!

I do not recommend staying at Whistler Peak Lodge. From the first night, our experience was unacceptable. The fire alarm went off at 4 a.m. with no explanation. After waiting in the lobby for about 15 minutes with no staff present, an employee eventually arrived, entered our room, and stood on our bed with his shoes to unplug the alarm. Later, maintenance came to replace the alarm but left a large mess of dust on our bed. Housekeeping was asked to clean it, but the door was left improperly latched, and as a result, my wallet was stolen from the room. We immediately requested a refund, but five days later we are still being told “it’s being dealt with.” Each day we are promised answers “tomorrow,” but nothing has been resolved. This has been one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Between the lack of professionalism, security issues, and refusal to take accountability, I cannot recommend this property to anyone.

Yelp
We booked one of these units a few weeks in advance of our summer time trip and thought it was great. Sure, it's not the nicest building or most modern, but the location was perfect for us and we didn't find it too loud, and I even kept the window open. Perhaps this was because it was summer and not winter, but we were there during the Crankworx Festival that gets pretty rowdy. And yes, our room overlooked the village walk. The check in process was easy! The room itself had a murphy bed which one of the legs was a bit wonky, but it was still functional. The tub in the average sized bathroom was a jacuzzi and the kids enjoyed that. The kitchen had everything you need (knives were a bit dull) and the in unit washer and dryer was clutch. The TV could have been bigger, but besides that, I thought the room did its job. The downstairs bike storage closet was nice to have and crowded at times with all the bikes in there. I can't imagine what it's like during peak ski season. Parking is extra.

Yelp
This is the first time in my life that I had to wait for my room and it is almost 4:0 pm. The reception people are also terrible. The two bedrooms suite has only one bathroom.

Yelp
Conveniently located in the heart of Whistler Village. Condos were equipped with everything we needed. Washer/Dryer available within the unit. Spacious rooms and storage space. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I had a bad experience here. I booked back in October, went to the front desk with my confirmation number, and they said "oh that's booking.com, we are having a technical issue with them and can't honor your booking." I got no notification of this prior to and now I'm in a different country struggling to find a hotel on a festival weekend. The management there was extremely dismissive. Just "it's your problem, bye." They even said "we have this issue all the time." I'm sorry but that's not good enough. Your company has agency here. And you are deciding to do nothing. If you were stranded in another country without lodging you would be just as irritated. But you had no problem being dismissive to a foreigner you'd never see again. That's really rude.

Yelp
Allergy Attack: I have my own hotel ratings system, that really has nothing to do with typical amenities and focuses more on whether I would stay there again. This hotel doesn't do very well using that system, so I decided to give it a three-star rating to reflect more how I feel this property would be seen by the general public. The reason that I don't think I would stay here again, has to do with my allergies. I try and avoid staying places that set my allergies off. Most hotels don't, but this place did.* The rooms aren't cleaned daily but every four to five days, and maybe that is the reason. I don't know. I stayed in the standard studio, and, having seen the photos for the deluxe studio, I wish that a deluxe had been available. As you can see in the photos though, the way they installed the kitchenette, the fireplace ends up way too close to the bed in both rooms. It's weird, because I was told by an inspector, there was a danger with gas fireplaces because the glass got hot. Whether there is or there isn't, I think the remodel is pretty awkward. There is kitchenette in the studio room. The price was very reasonable considering it was a last second booking. The desk staff was adequate. The person at the desk when I came in did not write down the section where there is a space for it on the card. Because the section was "A" I missed it when he mentioned it, because sounded like a pronoun to me (ha!). In any case, the garage is confusing and filled with warning signs about not leaving valuables in a vehicle. The air conditioning unit was broken, and that must play havoc with the heat bill, as it left a bit of a hole in the window in winter. The elevator smelled like pot. (Dear Fellow Guests: Don't smoke in the elevator, even when it's cold outside and you are hiding from your dad. It's impolite. I realize you stocked up for your entire trip to Whistler and smoking too much the day before you leave would be bad, but still..) I requested a late check out as they will extend your stay for one hour, until 11:00 AM, for free. But then, they called me anyway, before 11:00, to see when I'd be leaving, and gave me the impression they hadn't heard I requested 11:00 am (late? later?) checkout the night before. I was very confused about why they were calling. So, I am going with three stars because I would stay here again, IF I didn't have really bad indoor allergies, or maybe, if the weather were more conducive to opening the windows. It would not be my first choice though. Several people around me seemed happy here, but skiers/boarders are usually pretty easy to please in winter. I am having an "off" season this year. *I did a little checking, and these are actually condo units! It is not unusual for hotel rooms to be condos/timeshares in Whistler, but this also has condo style housekeeping, rather than traditional hotel style daily cleaning.

Yelp
I find Whistler Peak Lodge convenient and cheap for a 3 nighter here at Whistler Blackcomb but with a little exclamation. Pretty much at the far end where Starbucks is, it's a easy 3 minute walk to the bottom of the base. From a amenities perspective, they offer digital TV, a full kitchen, a soaker tub, fitness, and spa. The bed is okay, the room has a AC unit if you need it, and it's in a rather quiet location. From a cleanliness perspective, they can probably do a little bit better. Hearing they only clean every 4 days was kind of a shock. I didn't really know if the dishes or utensils of the kitchen were fully cleaned or not or how they cleaned it? The bed linen this time around was turned inside out & put on. While we were leaving, the people who cleaned just look like someone I'd pass walking in the village. I booked with Hotelsdotcom.

Yelp
Sleepless in Whistler Village The room we were in had a door adjoining to another room. Every single sound, including doing the dishes, the TV, quiet conversations, giggles, even sheets ruffling, was completely audible through the paper thin walls and door. The family next door was excited to arrive at 11 pm and blasted the tv, made dinner with seemingly every pan (maybe twice), and shouted over all the noise at each other. They were having an innocent little blast but we needed sleep. I called the front desk and they were asked to quiet down. They lowered the volume of their voices and the tv, but due to the above described poor quality of the wall/door, they kept us up until they finally decided to sleep at 4 am. So much for first tracks. Thanks fam. We booked two nights and left after one because sleep is kind of an important aspect of life, especially when on vacation. So we had to say goodbye to $335 US dollars thanks to the unbending policy to not refund even under these outrageous conditions.

Yelp
This place is a great location in the village and pretty close to the Excalibur and Whistler gondolas. The staff was nice and checkin was very easy. We were able to park underground for a reasonable fee. The room itself was on 3rd floor and a little away from the center which was nice since it was quiet. We got a queen and a murphy bed. The murphy bed was surprisingly comfortable with a decent mattress. I didn't get really good sleep during our stay but I think most of it was due to my buddy sleeping on the queen bed snored pretty loud. I felt pretty good comfortably on the murphy bed. It had a very small kitchenette which didn't really matter since neither of us wanted to cook and we always ate out at one of the nearby restaurants. It also had a fireplace which didn't end up using. The indoor hot tub was small and no pool so we ended up not using that as well. All in all it was a good stay and was a good price for the location. It was an ok experience.

Yelp
As a last minute deal on whistler blackcomb resort website, I end up getting a secret hotel for two night which turned out to be whistler peak lodge. Got a studio queen bed room. Is equipped with kitchenette and two people dinning table. TV has a basic cable channel and some drawers to store personal items and closet. Absolutely comfortable bed. Plus was fireplace, jet tub, and air conditioner. Since I visited at the end of summer even though it was warm enough to use air conditioner, it was bit chill once sun has gone down. Fireplace wasn't turned on but when I requested they are happy to arrange that for me for evenings. Very central location. Walkable to every where. Literally every where. Only a $10 buck cab ride to scadinave spa. Hotel also offers discount card for the spa and some partnered restaurants in the area addition to some retails. Very nice touch! Front desk staff are chill yet helpful, accommodating. I definitely enjoyed my stay! Note, house keeping service is only on every few days. Since I stayed only two night not sure how often though I think this is a great idea for conservation of energy and eco friendly. I would say very conscious move. Late check out was at 11am at the time of visit.

Yelp
To kick off the ski and snowboard season this year we decided to try something in the village, so Whistler Peak Lodge it was! Booked our +1 bedroom suite about a month in advance and still managed to get a wicked deal(Plus with 4 people splitting I could afford to drink out every night haha). Front desk was really quick to get us all signed in and set with a room, as mentioned we got a 1 bedroom suite which had 2 twins in the additional room with a pullout couch in the main living space. Was really happy with the amount of room we had as well as the size of the balcony for something so central. We didn't get a chance to use any of the amenities but it is quite nice.As well staying on the 3rd floor wasn't as noisy as some people say but then again it wasn't peak season so who knows. In the end it's possible I'll be back at the Peak, for me the price was good as well as our stay.

Yelp
This hotel is an absolute joke and the lack of care for their customers was ridiculous. The most disrespectful staff and horrible customer service. Dont ruin your trip to whistler by staying here. Didnt give us back our security deposit and gave us no explanation as to why and they laughed in our face(specifically a staff member named Elliot).Took complete advantage of me and my friends because we are college students. Really sad this place operates as it does. Also to enter you hotel hall you have to walk through a bathroom.

Shelby S.

Yelp
DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE! The front desk workers and manager are by far the least professional people and the rudest people I have ever encountered. They were extremely unhelpful and showed the absolute worst customer service. They take advantage of their paying customers and have unfair terms and conditions. Our bed was broken and our closet was jammed which caused our door to not open completely. We told maintenance twice and no one came to fix anything. I will be telling all of my friends and family to never come to this hotel. I would give zero stars if that was an option.

Lauren S.

Yelp
If i could give this hotel zero stars I would. It is a horrible, horrible experience. They evicted us from our hotel room based on a noise complaint from our hotel room when we were not even in our hotel room. We had proof we were not in our room, and they refused to listen to us and evicted us STEALING our money. This is happened to multiple people, they do this to steal your money and then book it again that night. They do not clean the hotel rooms or the dishes. The manager laughed in our face as he evicted us as if it was some sick joke to him to kick out young teenage girls from their hotel room leaving us with no place to stay. If you are going to Whistler, stay anywhere but here.

Hannah C.

Yelp
If I could give 0 stars I would. Paid $2,000 for the staff to be disrespectful, provide horrible service, laugh in my face when I asked a question, and charge us $250 for noise that was made by people yelling outside. Do not stay here, you can get a much better deal at a different hotel for a much better experience. The staff's disrespect completely ruined an expensive trip to whistler.

Ichigo R.

Yelp
With the price being quite attractive, I would however approach this property with a grain of salt. I had the misfortune with choosing this property, thinking that the reviews by others were average and similar to other 3-star hotels (i.e., Listel, Crystal Lodge, or Aava) as shown on Google and Trip Advisor. However, I would suggest avoiding this location and chose another for a couple of reasons. 1) Unprofessional front-staff, named Abraj Rai, who was quite uncaring to the noise complaint that continued from 2:30AM to 3:30AM *NOTE: the manager (Elliot) and some other receptionists are courteous and helpful 2) The rooms are situated very close to restaurants/bars, thus you will hear a lot of noise of rowdy college kids, throughout the night. 3) Although the rooms states that they have A/C, they use portable A/Cs, which are quite loud, especially if you wish to turn it on throughout the night. 4) The parking is quite expensive ($21/night). However, there is a parking lot close by ($5/night) if you wish to do so. Despite the price and location, I would highly suggest the other hotels mentioned on top.

Alyssa A.

Yelp
I don't like to be negative on reviews but this is the worst hospitality I have ever experienced from a hotel. They hotel continuously choose other guests and their money over mine even though we were all paying the same price($2,000+ for one weekend). The hotel staff took advantage of the fact that young girls were staying in their hotel and didn't know their rights in a foreign country. Horrible policies. Apparently one unjustified noise complaint where the noise actually came from the outside= an eviction?? Unheard of. Elliot was not a friendly manager to deal with. Will never be staying here again and recommends everyone else takes there business elsewhere such as Cascades.

E W.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed here last week when we vacationed at Whistler. The room was very nice and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. It was also located close to everything we wanted to do at Whistler and Blackcomb. It is run as a vacation rental as opposed to a regular hotel so there is not daily cleaning. Everyone is very helpful if you ask for something though.
