The location was fantastic to get to and from restaurants and our cycling programs. The entire staff was amazing and friendly. They had great recommendations and offered discount codes to local places. Our room and the hotel was very clean. We enjoyed the pool facilities and appreciated the cleanliness of it. We lucked out with a nice balcony overlooking the pool area which was pretty quiet. I was worried about being near the elevator but we didn’t hear it at all. I would definitely recommend staying here and will be back here for sure.

Quiet, yet in the heart of the main village. 2 hot tubs & outdoor pool. Parking on-site. Competitive pricing. Friendly staff. Nicely appointed clean “home like” spacious rooms. Very close to lifts to either mountain. Always a great stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet—perfect for a relaxing trip. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service from the front desk. The receptionist Laura B. went above and beyond to assist with transportation arrangements, helping me book taxis and shuttle. Their support made navigating the area so much easier. Highly recommend this hotel for both comfort and outstanding service!

I can confidently say that my experience was exceptional, largely due to the outstanding service provided by Jessica. From the moment I arrived, her warm welcome made me feel right at home. Jessica's genuine hospitality was evident in every interaction, and she truly went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. When I arrived, I mentioned that I was celebrating a special occasion, and Jessica promptly offered to upgrade my room. This thoughtful gesture not only enhanced my experience but also showcased her commitment to customer satisfaction. The upgraded room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and provided stunning views—truly a perfect getaway! Throughout my stay, Jessica continued to impress me with her attentive communication. Whether it was suggesting local attractions, answering my questions, or providing quick assistance with any requests, she always responded with a smile and made sure I had everything I needed. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to going the extra mile, and Jessica made all the difference during my time at the hotel. The level of service I received from Jessica has made a lasting impression, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a welcoming and comfortable stay. Thank you, Jessica, for your kindness and professionalism—you truly made my visit unforgettable! I cannot wait to return.

Google
This hotel has premium prices when the reality is that is not better than a Hostel. Aside from location which is great and hence the price. They offer nothing of value. Beds are soft and old. Terrible pillows and linen. Noisy if you are in the corner area. The “pool” is smaller than my bathtub. You want parking and be ready to pay $35 dollars for it. Which is a total abuse. Parking should be included with your stay. They can’t even offer a decent water jug at the lobby. It’s a plastic old container that makes the water to taste like plastic. Terrible. Find somewhere else for this price honestly.

The hotel is in a great location in centre of Whistler. The room was a bit quirky when you first arrive, with no bed! But once you get to grips with pull down Murphy bed which we left down, but could be a pain if you want to use the table more often than we did. The room was fine with a nice balcony overlooking the front “square “.||The room was well equipped, although it was a bit dated but for our short stay of 3 nights it was fine.||Location is great , only a short walk to supermarkets, bars and restaurants, and all of Whistler. Whistler was not what I expected, purpose built and a bit “Disney “ but very enjoyable stay.||We did the Gondola, but unfortunately only one route was open on our stay but still a good trip, and a drink in the bar/ restaurant on top is definitely worth a visit.|We also did the Sea to Sky Gondola in Squamish , and again a very enjoyable excursion.||We notice comments about the staff, but we found them very helpful, and assisted us with washing powder etc.

If you are MTB riding or skiing this place is in a great location to the lifts. It’s centrally located and a great place to stay. We had the loft suite and it was cosy enough for the 4 of us. Spa and pool were used everyday.

Google
First impression was poor as the check-in was a mess - I was first given a lower-level room where the window gives straight into the outdoor lounge area, providing zero privacy unless you close the dark curtains as if you were in a jail. Then was given a door card which didn't work, before finally getting access to a proper room. Third time lucky I guess. The room itself was fine, but it's all very dated, with ancient appliances including a very noisy fridge. Good location.

Yelp
This is the review that I booked through Travel Zoo, September deal. My friend and I stayed two nights for two queen size beds room. Honestly $150/night was very good deal and we were very lucky to stay there. But I recognized some need improvements, even basic things. The parking system is very tricky. After we checked in, the front man told me how to get in the underground parking. We proceeded into different hotel's underground parking, and realized some hotels sharing the big parking lot. Each hotel has an assigned zone and those guests have to park that assigned spots. To get in there, you need the hotel key. Very confused. The hotel room was big enough. They have one chair but no coffee table. Shampoo/hair conditioner were prepared but no shower cap and body soap. There is no complimentary drinking water too. They have a small gym and jacuzzi on the ground floor. By the side of Jacuzzi, they have restroom but no changing room. I bet to take a shower and change to bathing suits in your hotel room before head to jacuzzi is must thing.

Yelp
We get to our room and there's only one chair on the patio. We called the front desk and they weren't sure if they had extras. We had to ask ourselves what kind of hotel only has one patio chair for the room in a resort town and has a limited supply for extras. Hmm. (They did find us one eventually). It was very strange. In the morning doors around us were constantly slamming. But, to the inn's defense we slept in on most days (tried). Between other guests going in and out and housekeeping doing their thing, I guess you could say that it was something that was just prone to happen. To get in the shower it was an unusual high leap, and it was what seemed like a long ways down to sept out. With that higher shower I'm 5'8 and could easily touch the ceiling without a full arm extension. Our room was in the section that wasn't part of the main building. I didn't even know there was a separate section until I checked us in. We did have an indoor spa in our corner, but the pool and bbq area is on the second floor in the main building. Parking is a wee bit confusing at first as it's underground but there is a picture at the front desk of where to turn into. So that definitely helps.. The hotels restaurant was very nice. We had some minor issues with our food but the staff treated us so well and acted like they truly cared. It was as close to perfect service as you could get. . Overall, the hotel was very clean and seemed to have itself together for the most part aside from some minor flaws. The location is amazing. I would stay here again.

Yelp
Amazing spot in the village. Right on top of the keg, easy access to everything and there's parking.

Yelp
Just before Christmas I booked my nephew girlfriend and I a room through a third party. When I got there they said I had booked two rooms. I was confused but had been charged for two rooms so we took both rooms which we didn't really need as the rooms are very big and can actually hold 6 people. I would like to say the rooms were beautiful. Heading home I did a survey about our time there and mentioned about the mix up. After the holidays I got an email saying that they were giving me money back on one of the rooms. I don't make a lot of money and it was a big expense I wasn't expecting so it was a relief to get back. Thank you Paul and we will definitely be back in the future.

Yelp
Stayed here for 2 nights while in whistler. It's in a great spot as most if not all hotels are all within walking distance of the shops, stores and restaurants. Check in can be a pain depending on which person you get at the counter. Some are nice, others not so much. They offer complimentary coffee and tea on the first floor. Actual room is ok. Our room was on the next floor up from the entrance. Entry into the room was really odd. There's 1 shared (locked) room that you enter into and there's 2 seperate hotel doors opposite of each other leading to 2 seperate rooms. And since thr 1st door opens inward, imagine how hard it is to get 3 people and your luggage in all at the same time, let alone 1 person with a rollin bag. That layout in itself is enough to minus a star. Room is quiet. You can't hear the next door people unless they are in that small room past the first door struggling to get into their hotel room as well. Beds were comfortable. Ac works well. Nice seating outside in the back, useful to people watch. The room is small but it works. Bathroom is functional. It's not like while in whistler your spending the majority of your time in doors. So it served its purpose. Good place to catch up on some sleep. Stairway smells like armpits or wet socks. Elevator goes up and down quite slowly. But unless you have a alstuffed up nose, I'd highly recommend taking the elevator.

Yelp
Thin and un-isolate walls causes lot of noises from other rooms, even when the phone is ringing in next rooms or upstairs you hear that. Heating system is not working properly so I had the problem in sleeping for both noises and temperature reasons. It caused me to lose my first day skiing in Whistler. There are more works need to be done to follow required protocols against COVID. The best point about this hotel is its location. I also need to appreciate its employees who tried to solve these issues as much as it is in their hands.

Yelp
I'm a little torn on this hotel. The location is fantastic! That's the only reason I'm giving it a 4 stars. It's a 3 minute walk to the Whistler gondola. Great if you don't want to walk far and want to save some money. The hotel is definitely old and shows it's age. It doesn't seem to have been updated much. We had the 1 bedroom and it is deceiving. There is a large window-less window in the bedroom that connects to the living area. It is covered with some very thin sliding wodden shutters. Don't get the 1 bedroom expecting any privacy. You can hear the others breathing on the pull out sofa sleeper right behind you. I would pay a little less and just get the studio. It says room for 6 but I doubt you could do 6 adults. There are two small pull out sofa sleepers. One couch but 2 separate beds. Then there is the table that turns into a murphy bed. Parking costs $20/day in their garage. If you want to be cheap there are a few parking lots close by that are a little bit cheaper, but not much. They do have lockers in the garage to store your skis/snowboard but I don't think it could store more than a few snowboards. It could prob do 6 skis but would be tight. The kitchen is a full kitchen but pretty small. The sink is tiny. They have oven and microwave and fridge. Only thing missing was a toaster. They do have free wifi and it is usable for web surfing but not for video streaming. The pool was heated but kind of on the cool side. The hot tub was nice but small. The pool at the panpacific mountainside was much warmer. No workout equipment but do you really need that if you're skiing everyday? If you're looking for great location and more affordable, this is the place. If you want something nicer or more luxurious look elsewhere.

Yelp
Ack, stay somewhere else. The service was good and the location was good but the rooms were old and dumpy, the bed is upstairs in the loft but the bathroom and TV were downstairs. The loft was very hot but the rest of the room was cold downstairs. Appliances were old, bathroom was average. The fireplace only burns starter logs at $5 per piece, the hot tub was ok. The elevator was about 4x6 ft and very creaky and felt unsafe although I didn't have any problem It was cheaper than the other options at $200 CAD per night, but not that cheap. Spend a little extra and stay someplace nicer The outside looks great

Yelp
Decent hotel located in the Whistler village. Location is great but the hotel facilities need an upgrade. Stayed here 2 nights on a recent snow trip. Parking is $20/night, pretty steep. Room rates were ok for late season. We got a room with 2 queen beds and the beds were pretty comfortable. The carpets are a bit dirty. There is a small fridge in the room which is nice but no microwave. The coffee maker was functional but not the cleanest. The rooms are a bit dated and need a remodel. There is an outdoor hot tub and small swimming pool on site. The gym is small but functional. There was no tea or coffee or anything in the lobby unlike other hotels we have stayed at. The ski lockers are right outside the lobby in the garage which is complimentary for guests. It's got all the basics and nothing more.

Yelp
Old smelly rundown unkept building no upgrades and no house cleaning daily the only thing going is the location....the pull out bed had Pervious hair on it....bathroom sink had stains and shower doesn't run properly

Yelp
5* for the location, 1-2* for the room/amenities. We stayed in a double queen room in the powder lodge, so no loft or kitchen. It gets the job done for a short stay. We had previously stayed in their loft, which was nice. The double rooms are not glamorous, but neither is the price tag. The entire hotel just needs a good renovation! But then the outside would probably go up. For $220+/night, I guess it's a pretty good deal because of its amazing location. The room was outdated, the carpet was outdated, there were scuff marks and major wear and tear on the furniture, doors, & window/sliding door. There seemed to be built up dust in the corners of the windows and bathroom vents. The sitting chair in the room had a pillow that was peeling apart -- like there was no fake leather covering -- they turned the pillow upside down, but that doesn't hide anything! I made sure there were no bed bugs (phew!) otherwise we definitely wouldn't have stayed. But by the looks of the room, it just seems like there'd be bugs hiding away. Ugh. Parking was $19CAD/night, which is comparable to other hotels/condos in the area. Free wifi is a plus. But honestly I think that should really be a standard in any hotels these days. Maid service was efficient and always replenished what we needed. Bottom line: excellent location. Next time I'd pay the extra for the loft rooms, seems they are kept up a bit better than the regular rooms. The village keeps growing, thankfully, so prices of lodging just keeps going up. Unfortunately, the standard of what you get doesn't improve with its surroundings.

Yelp
Ah Whistler. Known for the 2010 winter Olympic Games, like Lake Placid, NY. Pretty cool. I wanted to check out Whistler during my time in Canada during a recent April/May 2015 trip. I stayed here at the Whistler Inn and Suites for a night on 05/01/2015. I wanted to be within the whistler village, just to get a glimpse of what whistler is like. And so, I hung out here at the Whistler Inn and Suites on the first day of May 2015. The reviews on hotels.com were fairly good and the photos looked very welcoming, so I decided to book this hotel property during my 2 day trip north of Vancouver. Plus, the nightly prices were pretty good, roughly about $100/night CAD, so I chose to live life a little and splurge on the room just for once. The entire experience here was a mixed bag, but the room was quite nice. I got a suite on the 5th floor, but forgot the room number I got. Doesn't master though, it was a suite and the wifi was pretty good. It wasn't spotty, so I could do work and play on my mobile device whenever I needed to during my stay at the whistler inn and suites. The whistler inn and suites is centrally located in the heart of whistler village at 4429 sundial place RR 4. It's not an overly large property, but it's just about right, with spacious suites that would tickle your fancy in a heartbeat. For me, my stay was a nice quiet respite from the driving and traveling to and from downtown Vancouver and the decor was just decently good. The room itself was clean and organized. The suite itself I got was basically a living room, a bathroom, and a mini kitchenette. I had to really look for the bed. I almost had to call the lobby to see where they keep the bed, until I realized that the bed was locked in the wall. First time for that for me!! It was pretty crazy, but I guess that's how you save space around here. And that's pretty cool. I have learned that the parking situation is different. I parked next door at the Whistler lodge underground parking lot for $15/day CAD, to learn that it was $19/day if parked with the Whistler inn and suites, so I got a decent deal out of the parking. The parking garage accepts credit cards, so that's a good plus and the hotel itself accepts the major credit cards as well. My stay here at the Whistler Inn and Suites was a nice, positive, comfortable stay here. As elegant as the property is, they try to be family friendly and is very good at it. The ski area is spectacular and I have met a few ski people during my short stay here at the Whistler Inn and Suites. The check in and out process was smooth, positive, and quick. The service was professional and great. I had a perfect night's rest and didn't have issues with noise. I guess it may have been due to it not being the weekend where it can be noisier? Probably! While I didn't find breakfast within the whistler village the next morning, venturing out into the village is what I would have done, if I had more time to do so. I ended up doing McDonald's in Squamish on my way back to downtown Vancouver. :) The bed itself was quite comfortable and there was enough kitchen ware in the cabinet to set an entire family for a week. The refrigerator and microwave all was functional and was great for my needs. There was a few hotel amenities on property, but I didn't use them. I would recommend the Whistler Inn and suites for your stay in Whistler. Budget friendly and a small town atmosphere is the perfect winter escape in Whistler. Just be forewarned that Whistler is a small hotel centric community with the ski / gondola lifts. 4.5 stars solid. Get over here! Support local! B+

Yelp
I'm knocking off one star because it's a damn hike to the gondolas in the village. It's a good 10 minutes, maybe 12, from leaving the room until you arrive at the gondola. And it's uphill! Yes - you would not notice unless you are trekking through the snowy village with your gear and carrying your snowboard. So getting there in the AM is a hike, but coming back seems way easier. This is a very nice complex of suites near the ice skating rink area of Whistler Village. Or, basically at the entrance of Whistler Village. The condos are very nice. I think our condo was 25A. There seems to not be a one-size/style-fits-all for these condos since they are privately owned. Most of them have a private hot tub - as did ours. Our unit was a 2 bedroom, 2 bath on the second floor, so we had to drag our snowboard bags up the stairs to get to our rooms. The entrance has a heated mud-room area where you can leave your board and boots when you come in after riding. Very nice when you want to get out of your wet snow gear before heading into the main part of the house. The mud-room had enough space for four each of snowboards, boots, usually helmets, occasionally more than one water pack, and sometimes coats. One bedroom had two twin beds and a full en-suite bathroom. The room also had a couch, which seemed unnecessary and just made the place feel cramped since we couldn't find a good place to keep two snowboard bags. We mostly got around that by unpacking nearly all our stuff and placing it in the open customized closet area. They could have taken out the couch and placed two chairs instead, if the purpose was to make it easier to put on clothes, boots, etc. The second bedroom had a queen bed and an actual closet, but no bathroom. They used the bathroom in the hall. The kitchen was fully stocked, including tea, sugar, etc. It was clean and well-maintained. The living room had a gas fireplace, which I think was missing the gas, since we could not turn it on. I tried a few times, but was unsuccessful - the last time, I think the pilot light went out - oops! The hot tub was AWESOME! Did I say how awesome it was?! A PRIVATE hot tub! After a day of riding?! How could I possibly have it any other way going forward?! Now I'm spoiled! I'm used to staying in places where I have to do "the walk" through the halls in my bikini, wrapped in a towel, outside into the common hot-tub area in the dark, and find an empty spot. Then do it going back. NOT HERE!!! This is heaven! The condo had an en-suite washer/dryer. Very helpful. They have a cleaning lady that comes by the last day of your stay to clean up. But you have to take out the trash/recyclables yourself. I would easily stay here again if I couldn't find a very similar option closer to the lifts. It's right across the street from the supermarket, drugstore, liquor store, McDonalds, and KFC. And right by one of the clinics (as we needed for my roommate. :-( )

Yelp
Picked up a Livingsocial deal and got to spend two nights here. Got to stay in a Standard room (two queen beds and a coffeemaker but no kitchenette, loft, second bedroom, or living room) on the first floor. The first floor rooms had access to a shared patio and is right by the pool and hot tub. I was not disappointed about the accommodations, although it was pretty much what I expected from a one-star hotel. PROS: - Location is just off the main Whistler Village walk and is very close to the lifts. - Rooms appear well-kept with comfortable bedding. - Bathrooms are nicely cleaned with the requisite bottles of shampoo, body wash, and lotion, all labeled as organic (if that's important to you). - Staff is very friendly. - Wi-Fi is free and fast. This is a HUGE plus in my book. CONS - Thin walls and non-double paned windows make for noisy mornings due to passing tour buses, various maintenance trucks, and general hotel activity, all starting at roughly 8AM. Bring ear plugs unless you're an early-riser. - I was placed in the Standard room at the farthest end of the building which had a window that looked directly into the service driveway used for service vehicles and garbage trucks. - None of the wall switches appeared to control the room's lamps in my room, so I had to walk over to the floor lamp and table lamp at opposite ends of the room to switch them off whenever I left. Not a deal-breaker but still a mild annoyance. This hotel is primarily recommended for visitors who expect to be on the slopes or shopping in the village for most of their stay in Whistler. The rooms aren't terrible but they're not luxurious. If you're particular about the "hotel experience", I'd suggest plunking down the extra cash for better digs at the Pan Pacific or Fairmont, but if you're looking for a place that offers great value that's a brief walk away from the gondolas and the Village Walk, then Whistler Village Inn & Suites is one of your best bets in the village.

Yelp
We rented a queen loft and it was just as we had expected. There was a queen bed upstairs in the loft and a split sofa bed downstairs. If you're unclear when looking at this hotel, a loft just means an open area upstairs. This isn't a one bedroom room with a separate room and living room. The split bed was nice because it was two twin beds which was great to accommodate three people. It was a little tight if we had left the beds open but once you close them and have a sofa, there is a good amount of space for suitcases and to eat. A huge plus of why we choose this place was the kitchen area/dining area. The kitchen was stocked with plates, utensils, knives, toaster, hot water kettle, coffee machine, fridge and microwave and more. We brought food with us and it was great to be able to have breakfast in our room. There is no dishwasher, but our cleaning service did our dishes while we were out was just an added bonus! The heating in the place is baseboard heat, but if you crank it up the place does stay pretty warm. The noise from the village itself at night was a little high, but we expected that coming to stay at the village. Overall, this was a very enjoyable stay and if you're looking for a place in the village, they have reasonable prices. They also have a ski storage area as well as a hot tub/sauna in both areas of the hotel. In the main hotel there is coffee/tea and a computer workstation. The wifi is now free with the room and it worked great! The parking is $18/day but it's underground and needed key card access to get there which made us feel safe about leaving our car.

Yelp
This place needs a lot of renovation and some serious cleaning. The door was so chipped away at the bottom you could see light beneath it. All of the furniture was threadbare and scuffed. My room was also not clean. I dropped my charger on the floor just after arriving and bent down to pick it up only to see crumbs on the floor. This place is also very noisy. Maybe I just had the worst room because I could hear the elevator every time it was used, the people above me sounded like a heard of elephants and there were people constantly talking and/or screaming outside. In my opinion it was also very overpriced. The only positive is the location.
google avatar

Yelp
The room we had was not as nice as we expected. It had 2 queen beds which was nice. The hotel is not updated so everything looks really old and not clean. One of our bed was inches away from the AC. If you run the AC it would blow right into your face. I couldn't sleep until I stacked 2 pillows to block the air from freezing my face. The location is excellent, right next to the village. For budget conscious travellers this would work just fine but I wouldn't come back to this hotel.

Yelp
Staff went out of their way to help, great place to stay if you have a dog ,rooms very clean and a short walk to the mountain small kitchen in our room, which was a big help,we had a loft,it was a little tight with four adults and two dogs

Yelp
We had originally planned to leave Whistler after our second day of skiing, but then encountered a snow storm. Considering that I drove a super tiny rental car up here, I didn't want to take the chance of crashing it on my way out of town. As a result, I was desperately trying to find a place to stay at the last minute in the Village that wouldn't break my bank. Luckily, Whistler Village Inn & Suites to the rescue! Although there was some confusion at check-in (I had just booked the place), we were able to get room keys easily within 5 minutes. Although the place could use some updates (some of the furniture is peeling), I was very pleased with our stay. For a pretty affordable last minute price, we got a studio suite that had a huge sitting area, a dining room table, and a mini kitchen. I also found our bed surprisingly comfortable, and enjoyed watching football on our flat screen TV. Finally, the two locked doors to get into my room was rather reassuring. Overall, a great last minute find for sure!

Yelp
Stayed here for one night and I can't complain about a single thing. The room was nice - loved the little balcony. We had two queen size beds and the room was nice, nothing to complain about. It may not have been anything super special but it was a great option for our night in Whistler. The price was right, it was right in the village, and right near a little grocery store which was perfect for us to find breakfast at the next morning. One of the most awesome things about this hotel is that although we had to pay for parking for the night (Boo), the lady at the front was very accommodating. I asked her if we could keep our car in the parking garage the next day since we would be mountain biking the whole day and then heading back to Vancouver that night. She had no problem with that and didn't even make us pay for the next day. It was very nice of them and I really appreciated that!

Yelp
I wish i could rent this hotel as my apartment for a month. Well i could but that would get expensive. Anyways it was perfect for a holiday weekend, nothing to complain about except watch the stairs leading to the loft bed! Almost fell down the stairs a few times, woah! - but that was cool to have a loft in a hotel. The rooms are giant and include kitchen so you don't have to spend more money eating places if you want. Parking IS tight underground, but SO nice to have the car right there !! Super easy key card access too. Someones review said it was 10 minute hike to the Gondola in their review, but they obviously made a wrong turn and went to the Blackcomb Side... Because the Whistler Gondola and Blackcomb Gondola are both located 2-3 minutes away walking slowly. Overall awesome first trip to Whistler thanks in big part to our accommodations. I hope I can stay here again!

Yelp
I would give this place 3.5 stars if I could. At the time that I'm writing this review that is the aggregate score which I think is fair. It was a 2-3 minute walk to the base which was awesome and you are literally steps from the village stroll. There are no food options in the hotel, but there are so many within a minute nearby it wasn't an issue. Lockers are in the bottom of the building to store your gear. Our lodge was across the street from the front desk but it's maybe 80 feet away and slightly closer to the base- no big deal. The rooms are nothing to write home about, but they are clean. Our linens, etc were probably from 1974 so it was like a constant 'flashback Friday' party. Walls are a bit thin. You will likely hear your neighbors, regardless of what they are doing. Compared to other lodging options this is definitely a value place to stay, but the hotel is strict about noise/partying. We were advised that if we had a problem with anyone to notify the front desk. You get one warning and then they will throw you out. Didn't use these amenities but there is a pool, hot tub, workout room there too. I would stay here again.

Yelp
Whistler is by far one of the best places to visit for mountain biking. Unfortunately it's difficult to find hotels in Whistler who will allow you to bring your bikes in to the room with you. At $5000+ a bike, I'm not about to lock them up in a locker somewhere else in the hotel. Whistler has a bad track record for bike theft in the summer, most of which occur within the hotels themselves. Whistler Village Inn & Suites allows us to bring our bikes in to our room...which is wonderful! We are always careful to wash them and put some of our own old towels down to protect the floor and walls when we store them. The rooms are a decent size. We always book the Queen Loft. The kitchen allows us to cook a few meals and keep a reasonable amount of food in the full sized fridge. The staff have been very accommodating to my husband and I on several occasions. A few years ago we had booked a room several weeks in advance to spend 4 days mountain biking in the park. Unfortunately on our second day there, it was clear that it was going to pour rain for the entire duration of our trip. The staff bent the rules and allowed us to check out 2 days early and kind enough to give us a refund for those last 2 days. We visit Whistler a couple times a year and are happy to stay at Whistler Village Inn & Suites. This isn't a 5 start hotel, which is fine with us. The rates are good, rooms are clean and the location couldn't be better.

Yelp
Let's start off by saying this: the hotel and facilities, as well as the location impressed both myself and my friends. However, the way we were treated by hotel staff because of our age and how we look (4 20 year old girls) was absolutely ridiculous and completely inappropriate. First, upon check in, they demanded the IDs of everyone staying in the room, which we thought was odd, but okay. Whatever. They also gave us crap and started off by saying that we needed to be 21 to check in, which is absolutely not true because the website says otherwise and we called ahead to make sure that the policy was 19+ (which they confirmed it was). Then there was the ID at the door policy. Every time we entered the hotel after 10 pm, we were IDed at the door. We weren't allowed guests in the hotel after 10, which is a complete bullshit rule that was made up by the staff to keep our friends from hanging out or spending the night. We were upset enough at this, not to mention the 8 am pounding on our door by housekeeping, but the last night the staff absolutely went too far. At 1 am, we were awoken by a security guard pounding on our door and demanding the IDs of everyone in the room (after they had already IDed us at the door earlier in the night when we came home). The security continued going from room to room, pounding and asking for IDs. This is a complete violation of our privacy and of normal hotel policy, we are currently looking into legal action we can take against the staff at Whistler Village Inn and Suites

Yelp
A group of friends and I came up in March for a week. We stayed in the two queen condo in the main building that sleeps six (queen in loft, queen Murphy bed, two couch twins). The second building across the street has more rooms, the indoor jacuzzi, and gym. All the staff were amazing and pleasant. ==Accommodations== The room is stocked with utensils, pots, pans, and extra sheets. Extra towels and toilet paper were easy to ask for. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The wi-fi is absolutely free and was surprisingly pretty speedy, unlike most other hotels which have slow wi-fi. A few other reviews stated it looked 'old,' but it didn't feel dated to me. I've stayed in other hotels which were way worse looking than this. Sure it's not a minimalist, future design with granite counter tops and fancy recessed lighting, but it looks well enough for me. If you're looking for something more modern, you're going to find hotels that are way more expensive. ==Location== The main draw of this place is the location. You're literally only a few walking minutes from the lifts and the rest of the village, and the price was very competitive compared to other hotels in the area. The hotel has a secure underground parking, which we did use, though unfortunately it was $18 CAD/day. Other reviews mentioned the hotel was noisy, but we had zero issues with noise, either from other rooms, or from outside. ==Overall== We would definitely recommend staying here for the great price and location. The staff were awesome and helpful. We're definitely looking forward to coming back next winter.

Yelp
To sum it up: "good enough" My buddy and I stayed here a night during our whistler trip. Staff is great, super sweet and helpful, location is also great, all the hotels in whistler village are literally nxt to each other so any of them will be fine location-wise. Finally, the room. It had a funny smell to it, kinda like pee, when we walked in, it was clean looking overall, but that stench...I called the desk and they said someone would come up to air-freshen which they mightve done while we were out but it still had that faint smell...iono...shrug...it wasnt unbearable for 2 guys who only used to room to store stuff while we were adventuring but i could see it being a problem if we'd actually needed to use the room to hang out. Anyway, it was SUPER cheap, so I'd say unless u find a better deal in the village, this place is A-OK

Yelp
The layout of this Inn is super odd. You check in, but your suite could be across the street, so you drive around the circle and into a garage that looks like it belongs to another building. Well, it does, because it shares a garage with 2 other hotels. If you have driving to the main street, that's already too far. Parking is $12. Fire log is $4 will last you 3 hours. Kitchen with all cookware, utensils and ceramics included. I don't know about other suites but ours was two level. Bed space was upstairs, no closures or doors. Downstairs was narrow and hard to squeeze two ppl and luggage into. Living room was a bit small but was cozy and had a fireplace, TV, dining table and ample sitting/relaxing space. This hotel gets very very cold, the heating system is old school, wall panel along the floor type of heating, which is defeated by the panoramic floor to ceiling glass door and window. Fire log is a very good investment. Front staff was very polite, and helpful on the phone (we couldn't figure out the vintage heating system). Doors to the check in lounge are automatic. AWESOME when you just did a 14 hour drive and you gotta haul luggage and snowboard!!!!! Hotel is older, cramp spaces and worn in so many ways. But they are pretty cheap, and one of the better spaces in Whistler if you don't have $150 a night to spend at the Westin. Decent stay.

Yelp
Pros: Great location Lovely complimentary shower items Cons: the elevator (or smelevator as it was aptly renamed) smelled like wet dog, mold, and a little bit of body oder thrown in uncomfortable murphy bed all around shabby appearance I did like how close we were to the village stroll, but i am so glad i bought this on living social and did NOT pay full price. It was just... eh. The smell in the elevator was seriously ripe, so much so that my husband (who had recent knee surgery) and I refused to take it at all. The place was a bit run-down over all, needs a facelift.

Yelp
Spent one night at Whistler Village Inn & Suites and was very happy. Due to a mixup on my part, I thought I had booked a one bedroom suite but had only booked two queens for two couples. Chris at the front desk switched us to a suite with no extra cost even though it was my fault. Really nice room with comfortable beds and a kitchen. Couple of cautions - Check in time is 4pm which caused us a bit of trouble as we were there at 1pm and had come straight from camping. They let us shower in the pool area which was ok. Their website implies that every room has a washer and dryer when in fact there is one washer and one dryer in the entire place. None of this ruined our stay of course.

Yelp
Service was terrible. Suite was dirty and tiny. After being rude to my partner, they finally offered a larger cleaner room and there was massive construction outside. I asked for a refund and they lied (I found this out later after contacting Expedia direct) and said that Expedia had my money and they could not refund it. We checked into another hotel and when I sent emails and called back to follow up, zero response.

Yelp
I must first say- you get what you pay for. The hotel is really a good choice for those on a budget as it is right in the village and can cost less than $200 including tax and parking. The room we had was the standard two queens on the ground floor. It was cute, but nothing to write home about. For the cost, this place really did the trick. We were disappointed when on Sunday am we popped on our bathing suits to get in a quick hot tub- only to find it was being drained. I get that this is necessary for cleanliness which is a definite positive thing, but maybe do it on a Wednesday, when there are less guests? Or give guests some sort of compensation or warning ... we had booked based on the fact that a hot tub was included. The front desk staff were not the friendliest, but the maids we met were so nice! One offered to help us with our bags when we couldn't find a cart. Bottom line- you do get what you pay for, and if you want luxury, look elsewhere. If you just want a comfy place to sleep without breaking the bank, this is your place!

Yelp
I have been coming to Whistler Blackcomb since 1993 but this was my first stay at Whistler Village Inn and Suites. This is a great location right off Village Gate and Blackcomb Way right in the heart of the original village. Most every time I have been to Whistler I have brought my girlfriend so this rating maybe should be adjusted somewhat First the good part. The location is less than two blocks from either Blackcomb or Whistler gondolas. Parking was secure and underground and the street side lobby was convenient coming and going, even with skis and poles. The lobby was decent size and cozy with large wood fireplace and plenty of leather seats. Guests were always gathered around. The staff were mostly from NZ or AUS and nice and efficient. So why the two stars? Advertised rate included heated pool and hot tub which is a requirement for me after skiing all day. Neither worked. The tech laughed when I asked if it would be working soon. He said it would be "weeks". The elevator was slower than walking up three flights of stairs. The full kitchen was hardly a kitchenette. The dining room table was really the leg for the Murphy bed which took up most all of the open space when down. Luckily the second bedroom was a loft upstairs and the bathroom was nice or this would have felt like a hostel after the fifth day. All in all I got in three solid days of skiing and my buddy and I didn't trip over each other too much. I did manage to pull some strings and get us passes for the hot tub at Powder Lodge across the street. I really liked the short walk to the gondola but next time, especially if it's with a girlfriend, I'd rather stay at Delta Whistler Village Suites

Yelp
Kinda a creepy hotel. We got it off an expedia deal and honestly our room looked like a residence room. The beds were rather bouncy and springy (not super comfy) BUT since we were on the main level we could just walk out of our room to the village stroll and not have to go through any winding hallways. walls and ceiling/floor are thin. be warned.

Yelp
Do you know what a Murphy bed is? You will soon. It's an ironing board for giants. It's less about comfort and more about efficiency. You clumsily fold up a table and lift it into latches quivering under the weight, knowing full well at any moment, said table could slam down upon your forehead leaving quite the mess for room service. Assuming you survive, you then unhinge even more unstable fasteners and pull the bed from the wall. In order to make this all work, said bed ends up being harder than boron with sheets pulled so tight onto the mattress, they'd keep Hannibal Lecter in check. What I'm saying is that they're never a good idea, but we knew to expect it going into the Whistler Village Inn, and that's really the only big issue we had. I mean it's cheap, the cheapest we found in town--technically, we can't complain a reduction in quality. In fact, I'm still going to praise it. As mentioned, it was the cheapest hotel we could find in Whistler, a town known for some expensive hotels. In a way, the rigid bed could almost be excused. Almost. It was also odd that we had two keys, one for the door to what we thought was our room, and the other for the second door leading to our actual room. Yeah, we shared a door with another room, but nothing else. There was nothing else connecting us, it's not like we were sharing a bathroom or something. It does need to be stressed that the location was absolutely amazing. We could jump over our patio (ground floor, not suicidal), and walk twenty feet to Whistler Village. Out the main entrance, it's a mere thirty-second walk. A point on parking...you can't. Not really. Here's a rule about Whistler: Underground parkades sit under restaurants, which sit under hotels. Efficient, but there's no place to just park a car without paying out the ass. Staying at a hotel doesn't guarantee you a spot at said hotel; you need to pay extra. However, I discovered your room card, the same card that opens the garage to the car park, will open said car park if you pay for parking or not. You pay after... when you check out...except I wasn't charged. It could have been an omission on their part but I clearly remember saying when checking in. In conclusion, Whistler Village Inn is a subpar hotel in a fantastic location and a great option for those on a budget. We only stayed the night, and if we required an extended stay, we definitely would have forked down a few dollars for a better room. For those only making a pit stop on the road to elsewhere, this is a great cheap place to pitch your tent....figuratively.

Yelp
This place is right in the village, ski-boot walking distance to lifts up both Blackcomb and Whistler mountains. Older building, no pretensions. Cozy place with kitchenette, and parking. Good value, clean, and comfortable. Staff are pleasant and helpful. On a side street so no traffic noise. Plenty of entertainment and food options nearby. Keg Restaurant right there ($$$), and Old Spaghetti Factory across the street ($), Breakfast at Blacks near the lifts. This is a comfortable stay for skiers or boarders, with access to the Whistler village amenities for days off. I find this much better than being in a condo way off in a subdivision.

Yelp
For the price we paid, and seeing other big chains on line, I was a bit skeptical of this place. But, don't let that stop you from booking here. The rooms are clean, although a bit odd (i'll explain in a minute). Parking is definitely not what I'm used to, but very secure. Actually the whole place is pretty secure. Plus, the location is central to everything! That is probably the best part of it all. We booked 3 regular rooms/non suite. the weird thing is... two rooms share an entry way. then after going through the first door, it splits into two rooms. both rooms need card keys to enter. so it's like a shared apartment? Not sure how else to explain it. Overall, since we were only in our rooms to sleep, everything was fine. Gotta love how close to everything you really are.

Yelp
I've stayed at Whistler Village Inn and Suites many, many times coming up from Seattle to hit the bike park. During the 2009 bike season we stayed there some 15 days in total. Never had a complaint, never had an issue. Fast forward three years, and let me tell you girlfriend, things have changed. And not for the better... We checked in on Friday, September 7, 2012. And from check in to check out, it was a shit show. It all began, and all started going sideways, with the clerk at check in. Some little Australian hipster douchebag with a serious attitude problem. We asked if it would be possible to upgrade our room, and again with more attitude. "No, we can't do that, we're booked for the weekend and if you thought it was going to be an issue you should have called in advance." We then asked if we could get a roll away bed for our large friend who came along with us who smells of fish. "Absolutely not. Not even a possibility. It would be a fire hazard, don't you know that?!?!" the little hipster from the land of funny talkers responded in his snootiest of manners. Ok, so what about getting some extra sheets and pillows for our friend? "Not a problem, just call down and ask." Later that night when our friend arrived from Seattle we called down, and the same little asshole informs us "The room is only booked for two people, there should be plenty of sheets and pillows there for you to MAKE DUE. Otherwise, it'll be an additional $20 a night." At this point I unloaded my hate for Australia. I spoke to the manager, things got fixed. Overall, this property is slipping. The rooms aren't as clean, the prices have gone way up ($300 for two nights with two queen beds) and the rooms are poorly laid out. They're doing construction on the extra wing of the hotel, so if you take an after ride nap, be prepared to be woken up. Only upside of this property is that you can still keep your bike in your room.

Yelp
I had booked with a groupon. My understanding was that the Fri/Sat we booked were the final dates of the groupon. When I checked out I was dinged with $35 for one of the nights as it was a blackout date. When I questioned this I was told the website for the groupon had it wrong and they had later changed the dates. I did not know that. The woman checking out beside me had the same issue, but they creditted it back to her as she complained that she booked her room the same day she booked the groupon, whereas I had booked after the dates had been changed on the website. When I originally viewed the groupon it said the dates were included and that's why I ended up buying the groupon. Didn't think i should go back and see if the terms and conditions had changed! That's not good business practice. Buyer beware! The place is a bit shabby and probably better for younger groups in their 20s. The worst part of the service, however, was that we had very little heat and the room was downright cold. The small heater is completely inadequate given the high ceilings. I called down and had to convince reception that no, I wasn't looking at the air con, it was the heater, and had it full blast for an hour and a half and still the room was cold. She kept telling me to wait another 15 minutes and explained that the building was built in the 70s so the heating system is baseboard. Asked if we could switch to another room but was told they were all full. Finally she offered "we could look at loaning you a space heater but I think they're already all booked out for tonight". A-ha! So this is a known problem. We did end up getting a space heater, thank god, and throughout the weekend saw numerous guests walking space heaters up to their room or returning them. I didn't like that a space heater wasn't immediately provided knowing guests were having problems. The space heaters provided are the cheap type that suck energy like crazy, which is completely contradictory to the sign in the bathroom asking guests to respect the environment by re-using towels. They also made the room very dry. I hope with this review the hotel will consider upgrading their heating system as it is in desperate need. On the positive side, I appreciated that pets were allowed ($28/night) and the bed and bed linens were comfortable. Organic toilettries. Internet included and worked well. Also appreciated that on check out we were advised we could continue to park until 4 pm.

Yelp
Great location!!! Overall a clean, comfortable facility. Staff was nice but a bit aloof. I left a Moka in the room upon check out and called a few hours later and again a few days later, but was told the machine was never found, which seems odd since they have to take an inventory of all items in the kitchen. Strange disappearance! It wouldn't have been so bad if we hadn't had a pair of earrings disappear during our stay and then reappear after I reported them missing. Unsure of the facts but an odd set of experiences for me.

Yelp
Awe. Some. I have a room overlooking the pool that is like a little studio apartment and I pay about $99/night. I can bring my bike up. The murphy bed was just fine, there is a flatscreen over my fireplace and I can cook anything in the kitchenette. Tip: buy your groceries in Vancouver to save $$ but you will need a cooler. Food and drinks are expensive up here. I hit a liquor store in Vancouver too, now I can drink before I walk a block to the night life. This room is by far the biggest room I've styed in on my trip (Vancouver, Victoria, Whistler) and the least expensive. The location is perfect and the staff have been SO nice...even when I rolled in hot & grumpy. Don't get me worng, this is not a luxury place, but if you are looking for a great location that is affordable, user-friendly, and clean, this is definitely it. One word of note - I found this place doing a search that included WiFi...there IS wiFi but it is NOT included. Best rate is $15/week package. Parking is $18/day. Still affordable with my dirt cheap rate. I brought my bike and I'm riding everywhere.

Yelp
Great location and price. Free Wifi. Hot tub and pool were nice. Room was perfect for the two of us with a loft upstairs kitchen living room and bathroom downstairs. For four, there was a murphy bed, that might have made things a little cramped, but the value would have been great.
