TERRIBLE STAY. TERRIBLE SERVICE
We stayed two nights on a recent ski trip and it was terrible. We had a group staying next to us who came in loud and disruptive at 2am. We had to call the front desk numerous times to get them to do anything about it. After multiple calls, the most the front end staff were willing to do was to ask them to close the door to their room. They were very apologetic to the rowdy party for interrupting them and they explained how sorry they were, that we just kept complaining about the noise. I couldn't believe what I was hearing! The shouting, the singing and the guitar playing carried on until 4am without consequence.
When I approached the manager about this, he acknowledged that there was a disturbance and he felt that his staff had handled the situation appropriately. He seemed to recount a slightly different version of the efforts the front end attendant made and gave us a very insincere "I'm sorry your stay was not up to your standard" and gave us a lousy 10% off of our bill. But no worries, we were reassured that he let them know that their behaviour was unacceptable when they left.
