White 1921 Saint-Tropez

Love this hotel! Very nice, but not overly fancy since it’s an old building and has kept its charm. Our room was big and had great views of the action nearby. I thought all week that we went to the best places for dinner but on our last night we ate at the hotel and turned out to be our favorite. The food, the presentation, service, and atmosphere was by far the best! By the end of our trip, the staff felt like family. Just love this place.

There are so many things that I liked about this place. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms spacious and clean. The location was perfect. We could walk outside and have our choice in shops and restaurants. It is attached to the Louis Vuitton restaurant which is cool as well. As guests you get a lovely breakfast even though the restaurant doesn’t open to the public until 1500hrs. There is a night club nearby that plays its music late into the night every night. It didn’t bother me but it might bother someone else.

Please DONOT stay here. |Here we go.we were greeted with, you have the best room in the hotel, it’s so cosy. |Which was clearly a sales pitch & a warning sign.|Well the room was more like a death trap.|We had to walk up 2/3 flights of stairs to get to our room. ( no lifts) the Bathroom was on the main floor, with the smallest Wardrobe I’ve ever seen and NO space for longCloths |Then halfway up the stairs was the toilet with no sink & a door that lead onto a staircase and hit the bottom step. Then we had to struggle up the next flight of stairs which had no banister halfway up. So very dangerous if you wanted to go to the loo in the evening, as you would lose your balance and more than likely have a bad fall .|Then we entered into the loft, WOW|this was an experience.|We had booked two separate single beds, but the beds were joined together,no space in between the beds at all , this was due to lack of space, hence there was no room to get in either side of the bed, as the walls on either side was on the slant, which ment, as soon as you got out of bed, you knocked yourself unconscious by the, far to close slant on the wall. |Of course we ask could change rooms, as this was an absolute death trap we were told there was nofurther rooms available, & and if we wanted to move hotels, we would still have to pay for our room. This was even though the room was not up to standard & a massive health & safety issue. |I then asked to speak to the manager, who was on holiday ( in Peak season ) clearly not a very conscientious manager. |The staff asked her to call me, but she refused to speak to me, & said her staff can deal with it, unfortunately every one of them, couldn’t make a decision without asking her. So we hit another brick wall . |On the last day we was out with friends till late evening, and was told if we wanted to pack all our bags they had a room for us, for the next eight hours,this clearly was not realistic or achievable, as we was out all day. |Regarding there advertising,the Photos,look great and it sells itself well. but that’s what it does, just sells itself and 100% does not live up to its expectations|We were not offered any compensation and nobody seems to care .

Thinking of a romantic getaway? Make sure you’ve updated your wills. This room is perfect for those with a taste for danger, a love of minimalism (and I do mean minimal—the colour palette is fifty shades of white, with a hint of "vibrant faded black" courtesy of the sad little velux blind), or perhaps a deep-seated grudge against their traveling companions.||Pro tip: Don’t expect the staff to care when you inevitably plummet to your doom. This "highly requested" room must be popular with thrill-seekers looking for a bargain or parents who secretly hope their kids don’t make it through the night. If you’re under 4 feet tall, a double zero, have amazing night vision, rough feet and like to hang around in kids playhouses, this might just be the room for you. Otherwise, sleep tight, practice your corpsing—and don’t forget that bucket. Probably wise to keep any complaints or requests to yourselves too as the staff are keen to take your money but not much else. This horrendous stay could have been calmed by some form of goodwill gesture from the hotel beyond a croissant and a cup of coffee. In the plus side this hotel has a nice Louis Vuitton cafe in its courtyard to ensure they also extract every penny off passers by as well as residents, the aircon was good and if you don’t like very much natural light - this is certainly the place to be as it’s located right on the place de lices for the Tuesday and Saturday markets.

Lovely hotel in Saint-Tropez ! In the center of the village just on the place des lices, easy to walk around and visit St-Tropez and boutiques.. You could find restaurant Louis Vuitton inside also staff is friendly ! One of the best Hotel in saint-Tropez

Fantastic location right in the heart of town. Cute, quaint, clean rooms! And, most importantly, the best concierge team I have ever worked with. We were in town for a wedding and had friends stay at hotels all over St. Tropez, but the concierge and front desk team at White 1921 were hands down the best. They helped plan our entire weekend, from large group dinners to beach club reservations, taxis, and more. Our experience in St. Tropez would not have been the same without the hotel.

Stayed at White with my friends for a birthday celebration, the staff was amazing from check in to check out and made our stay memorable. The hotel is very clean and the location amazing on the Place des Lices, close to many restaurants and shops! White we will be back!

Overrated. Understand that I have no complaint whatsoever but the hotel is absolutely overpriced considering that they offer no service at all. It’s located in the heart of Saint Tropez, nice quiet rooms. The minibar content are free (besides the alcohol) and it’s really appreciated. But no valet parking, no turndown service, no spa, no nothing besides the rooms and the location.

White 1921 is the petit luxury hotel venture of Louis Vuitton & Moët Hennessy. Though the hotel has only 8 rooms, all are well-designed contemporary spaces that feel as though they would fit perfectly overlooking Park Avenue. The private outdoor garden bar seats close to 100 and draws in what I conclude are Saint Tropez's visiting elite. Models, fashion merchandisers, actors, politicians, industrialists, etc. The bar alone provides an incredibly intimate haute environment fitted with transparent white umbrellas to hide the glaring Sun. During the night it teams with 30-40 something singles from other hotels/summer villas. Tip: It seems to be an unofficial house custom to wear only white (and/or black) while patronizing the bar on weekend evenings. My first meal in Saint Tropez was at the bar here where I ordered molasses-bourbon basted New Orleans style ribs and house salad with a bottle of vintage Krug. All were excellent. If you're familiar with the Moët & Chandon champagne packaging from 1921 (which they do serve) white with gold lettering, this is like being inside one. Truly amazing.

So chic right in downtown next to fendi the entry is protected by a bodyguard and a huge white gate. You walk through the gates into an outdoor cocktail lounge with lots of couches, as one would expect everything and everyone is wearing white. The check in process was fast, they knew my name and said hello to me-- I've never been there? They must have looked me up on FB or something... anyway the room was just the right size and the bathroom was large with a huge shower head and large tub. Toiletries are amazing! Sheets are amazing! If you have an opportunity to stay here do not pass it up. I was very happy with me experience.

I loved everything about this place. It has a warm intimate feel with helpful staff and lush rooms in pristine white perfection. A massive bathroom open plan configuration and a slick little coffee machine. Saint Tropez is stunning and this place is perfect to enjoy it. The only downside for me was the bar only offered a limited menu and so I had to venture out to find dinner which is not such a bad thing given the many options but it would be good to expand the menu a little. I would certainly stay again. Superb!!
