White Castle

It's a clean White Castle and they get the order right. It's obviously not a fancy place but you're getting what you expect when you visit.

I mistakenly bought this with what I thought google maps recommended instead of the website, which I thought was one of the delivery services, and they made sure to give me coupons and let me know it saves money to use their website instead. A night or two later I am embarrassed to say I kept thinking about the leftover burgers (we left at another person’s fridge) which I happily gobbled up the next day for part of my lunch. There wouldn’t have been extra but we were sure to purchase extra just in case.

Was not in the plans for the day. But we decided to drive 2 hours to come here. Was not disappointed!!! We will make our way back here.

They did an amazing job with the remodeling of this White Castle! It’s amazing they have the ghost pepper cheese now. It’s really good and the crave case you can’t go wrong with that option! The service here is unmatched very good people here. It’s good energy and I would recommend this place to everyone!

The new transformation was nice.,not sure if it was really necessary but pleasing to the eyes. I was extremely annoyed they didn't have clam strips on the menu anymore at this location. I was told they don't think it's coming back. Not happy

Hey, it's WC.. the food is the same it's been forever.. I laughed, because I've been eating these burgers since they were 12 cents a piece..Great service at this location, the cashier was on his game.. all good

I love white castles! We do not have it in CA so when I come here, this is where I go for my fix. The little burgers/ sliders are well made, the meat juicy and the right amount of everything. Yes, we ordered a case and between 3 people we finished the case. Service was nice and helpful. I rarely go here so help deciding is a plus and the cashier was friendly. A huge plus in fast food is the staff and their meet and greet. Very well done! Ambiance is nice and modern and bright. It made it welcoming and there were quite a few people eating and ordering. It was also clean...This is important and made for a nice eat in experience! I love White Castle and so should you. I really do need to try the rest of their menu.

I was SO excited to try this east coast staple for the first time. And it was absolutely, astonishingly, amazingly disgusting. The mozzarella stick tasted like plastics melted in a batter and deep fried. Chicken slider was the "best" of them all but tasted bitter to me. The slider #1 was so nasty I had a bite and had to throw away. don't argue w me, argue w ya mama

Growing up this was my dad's go to place for a quick meal-love love love their mini onion burgers and the shake that you must have along with those burgers. This is a quick drive threw take out place-service is quick not much of an ambiance

Ahhh.....murder burgers. A thing of the late 80s for me when after flashing fashions at NYC's The Tunnel, Limelight, or Palladium clubs would bring my sisters, friends and I to a White Castle in The BX to feast on these 3-bite burgers. I guess there's nothing to boast about- but if you had a hangover, partied too much, etc- coming to White Castle was a given. Even in my beef eating days then, I'd always go for their chicken ones. My oh my have things changed. Hubs and I recently stopped at this Nanuet White C. during one of our trips heading down from Woodstock to somehow try and relive this oldie but goodie staple. Plus the rainy+gloomy weather in August, had 'junk food' written all over it. Nothing fancy. We did drive-thru. Hubs got 4 burgers+fries+soda. Since I don't eat beef or poultry, I thought about fries and onions rings- then my eyes zoned in on their Panko-crusted Fish Burgers. Yes and yes! These were so freaking tasty. I got 4- but I could've done 3 to keep my sanity. My chocolate shake- was indeed chocolate and not vanilla doused in brown syrup. Ditch the onion rings- these are shriveled. Crinkle fries have a crunchy outside+soft inside. Service is polite and even though we didn't step foot inside, the space looks well-maintained from the outside. Nutritious? You and I know they're not. Will White Castle satisfy a craving- whether you're getting fish, chicken or their beef? Hell yeah.

It has come, trying White Castle for the first time. I honestly didn't know what to expect, the burgers are sliders, pretty small to eat fairly a quick meal. It had a pretty good taste, at least the one I ordered. The fries were up there as well, and plenty to eat to fill my stomach up. In the future, I plan on getting a couple of more burgers, to fill me up even more. I was very happy with the service I received, although the mic needs to be turned up quite louder. I wouldn't mind returning again, but won't be anytime soon.

My boys and I were in nanuet for a football game and everyone after the game were doing the white castle run and run is exactly what's in the near future . The drive thru is a long wait so 15 loud fools originally from the Bronx are ordering inside and it's just like the old days once again. Our guilty pleasure means ordering 30 white castles burgers, 10 double cheese burgers , 12 boxes of chicken rings , 10 fries , 10 shakes, 10 sodas and a visit to cvs across the street for Pepto chewables. We went back in time with our cell phones off and enjoyed white castles and endless mindless gibberish just like during our teenage years . Thank you white castle for bringing back good memories and making our tummies rumble and tumble. 4 stars on my yelp meter .

OK, I've got to admit I'm a very big fan and addict of White Castle. The sliders here are my all-time favorite. They redid the entire restaurant and it looks so much cleaner and so much nicer. Before you couldn't really see how your White Castle burgers were being made, but now you can see everything. The staff here is very friendly if you're into a very tasty little burger, come on over and check this place out. I'm not a fast food fanatic, but this place is my all-time favorite

"Girls, all I really want is girls And I can always make them smile From White Castle to the Nile" (Beastie Boys) After yesterday's Nanuet, NY lunch at White Castle, I was struck by two things. First was how freaking delicious their little square steamed cheeseburgers are. Second was how freaking inexpensive their little square steamed cheeseburgers are. The burgers are simple works of art -a pillowy soft steamed bun, a thin burger patty, a slice of pickle, and a little dab of ketchup and a dash of diced onions. That's it, and at $1.08 you won't have to dig deep into your wallet. Hell, my soda cost more than my two cheeseburgers. I know that White Castle isn't for everyone and it's become the butt of jokes about culinary quality, but I gotta tell you, I really enjoyed my rare visit to the Castle. I say rare because I don't think there are any White Castles at all in Connecticut. I've seen some supermarkets sell frozen WC burgers, but I don't believe we have a real deal brick and mortar castle here.

I only go for the loaded fries and they are delicious. Occasionally I'll have the classic square cheeseburger with a shake. yumm

I have been a White Castle fan for 6 decades and have enjoyed sliders at countless locations. When I saw this place on a recent trip I assumed I was in for another great meal. I was dead wrong. The dining room was beyond filthy. The grease on the floor was overshadowed by the smell of garbage. After I got my order of 4 sliders and an onion rings I noted there was not a condiment tray anywhere. I then asked the person at the counter for some ketchup and mustard packets. He returned with a plate with a pile of mustard and a pile of ketchup - with no knife, spoon or fork. Have you ever tried putting spilled mustard or ketchup on a small bun. It is impossible. This caused me to dip the burger in the mess, totally ruining the taste. The last straw was the sticky table from semi dried spilled soft drink. This place needs to be bulldozed.

Closest to home and given our upcoming move to a state with only one Castle that is two hours away, a visit was overdue. Sure it's not going to make the list of healthy choices, but still the most satisfying cheeseburger (imho) you can sink your teeth into. A few sliders, or belly bombers (or whatever you want to call them) later, mm good. Prompt takeout service at the drive thru. Open 24 hours for your craving pleasure!

It wasn't the BEST White Castle I've had, I usually go to the one on Bruckner but was in the area and wanted to try this one. It was cool for what it was. I believe I ordered the bacon cheeseburger combo. The bacon could've been cooked better. It was alright, though White Castle isn't a 5 star restaurant so I got what I paid for. I do believe other locations are better, though I can only speak from the one time I have been there. The staff was courteous though and there's even a shake shack in the same area.

As a 77 year old senior I have been eating White Castle for over 70 years. I just want to say my visits will now be few and far between. The quality has fallen drastically over the years, while the price keeps going up. The allure of the burger has always been the meshing of the flavors, burgers, bun, pickle, ketchup& especially the onions. my last trip yesterday was the worst one yet. a drop of ketchup & finding the missing onions lends to a disappointing visit. may be a long time till I return

The food and staff are solid. Burgers come out great. One day the drive thru guy filled up my water when I really needed it. Store is clean too. It's a castle, how's that for ambiance?

I went to this White Castle last week on a whim. It was the first time coming in after renovation month ago. It looks more open and welcomed. Before reno, it looked like a cafeteria line st a prison camp; glass booths vestibles, combination locks, Now it looks more open, more soaces to eat, there is a television to watch. I just had the 4 slide combo and drink. It was good. ,better than i expected. The staff was more diverse, very young, looking like a fun team. Nice to have it back open. I do stop here occasionally between stops to and from MYC or AC.

Came here for some burger and fries with cheese. The food was alright, as expected from any white castle

White Castle...the name evokes memories of late night and fun with friends. White Castle sliders are the same as they ever were, yummy! The fries and the onion rings are great! The Nanuet White Castle was exceptionally clean and well lit. The counter staff were very welcoming and pleasant. Our order was filled quickly and served hot!!! It does not get any better. It is just a fun experience. The drive thru is also thoroughly quick and efficient! Make the trip! It is great! WOW!!!

Ok so here is the deal. It's a White Castle and you have to be in the mood for a White Castle. This place was spotless and the service was fast and friendly. The "murder burgers" as we call them were awesome. If you do not want the belly ache in a few hours get them with no onions all ya gotta do is ask. I prefer them and won't get them any other way. The shakes are great, the fires are really good. If you are looking to fix your White Castle crave then this is the place to get it done.

If all my trips to this White Castle were like this today I'd be a regular customer instead of once or twice annually. Today my fries and shrimp were blazing hot, crispy and fresh. My hamburgers were perfect too. The Dr Pepper was iffy but it wasn't needed. Maybe things have changed since last year and I'll luck out again next time I go....

I grew up in St. Louis and White Castle was a fixture. Great to have it again! Same great taste as I remember!

My hubby wanted me to ask if Harold and Kumar were there but I refused(eyeroll) We were visiting family and had a craving for probably the cheapest burgers on the planet. .91 for 1?!? Count me in. Yes they sell these in the stores but its nothing like getting one freshly made. All burgers come with onions and you have the option of adding cheese, bacon, pickles. We ordered a 30 ct variety and enjoyed every bite. The customer service was friendly and fast. I wish they would bring the Castle to Charlotte.

Right now service is extremely poor drive thru very busy. In the lobby 4 people who are not being served upon entering they waited 10 minutes which is in my opinion a really long time for fast food service JUST TO TAKE AN ORDER I ordered a double cheeseburger combo now you would think if the establishment is busy which means the food/ burgers are coming off the cooker hot NOPE my burgers were really cold as if room temperature would be hotter. An employee stepped up to take their order as the manager was on the register & assembling meals once again slowly. This is a Friday night going into a Saturday morning about 12:30 am. I will probably cherish going to another White Castle when I am in the vicinity of one. I might be done here I hope not though.

Having spent many years in NJ as a teenager, I had fond memories of White Castle. Back then, having a dollar and some coins meant you could get 4 sliders, fries, and a drink. It was not only a great deal, it was all I could afford at the time. When my sons and I were recently watching a food program featuring White Castle, I told them how I loved it as a youngster. Since they grew up on the west coast, they had never been exposed to WC. On a recent trip to NYC, after watching a Broadway play in Manhattan, we decided to get a midnight snack. When we walked in just before midnight, we were greeted by a friendly person at the counter. She seemed like a mom and appeared surprised when I told her my sons never tried the WC sliders before. She was super nice and patient as we checked out the menu board for a few minutes before deciding on the 30-slider deal (15 hamburgers and 15 cheeseburgers), an order of fries, and a coke. These sliders come well-packed in a "briefcase" made of cardboard. Maybe it was partly because it brought back memories but they were absolutely delicious. I could see the boys were really enjoying them too. We brought back a few for my wife and she enjoyed them too. This WC location was right off a highway and was clean and well-lit. At no time did we feel unsafe, even at midnight. The workers were all very nice and the food and the service were top notch. For a fast food place, this is about as good as it gets.

Great to have the Nanuet NY store back open. I went into the store and they need to stream line things better as the wait was longer than drive thru. Also they need to retrain everyone to add more onions and ketchup to the sliders. Those are the two keys components for the sliders.

I am an adult and I can make my own choices! And my choice is to get white castle at 1 in morning with my high school friends when I am forced to reenter Rockland Country. White Castle isn't gourmet and it is not fancy. But it sure satisfies the hungry tipsy Michelle. Give me some fries and two sliders and I am a happy camper. And the fact that this place is 24 hours, oh boy. I will never go hungry.

Four stars for friendliness and food! It's always consistent and they have never messed up my order. The only downside is that this place is ungodly slow. There can be 3 cars total in the drive-thru and you'll be waiting for 10-15 minutes - not so fast-food to be honest. However, this last visit they saw how slow the order was taking for the customer in front of me and actually served me in a different drive-thru window. Props to the young employee for that.

Good, consistent fast food when on the go. I prefer their fish sandwich over all others (except WayBack Burgers) for a quick bite.

What's to say ...it's a White Castle ... inexpensive sliders that always hit the spot ... ... can't wait till reopens in March of 23

This business is under a complete renovation and will be closed for several months. There is no sign which tells when it will be open but everyone can't wait.

Got 15 bacon burgers took her 3 times to ask me again and again what I wanted I ordered 2 sacks of clams Got home was eating the clams, they were disgusting tasted like I was chewing on dirt top it off I finished my burger and in the box was an ant!! They haven't messed my order, they're pretty quick, the place is as clean as a fast food restaurant can be. I have no issues with this White Castle.

How was White Castle, you ask? It was freakin amazing! I try to eat healthy food and I have uttered the phrase "I don't eat fast food" for years. I can honestly say I have a thing for White Castle. First of all, I love crinkle cut fries. I don't know why, but I do. Their fries are always fresh. Second, their cheeseburgers are deceptively delicious. Third, their menu has all sorts of sliders and other items that are ultra tasty. This location does a good job. It may need a coat of paint but the food is on point. Now I know how Harold and Kumar felt I only stop in every few months, but I think of you White Castle!

Burger meat is gray and the buns are soggy. The fries taste like the frozen ones that you put in your oven, and the drinks come with paper straws that ruin the taste. I had to wait an excessive amount of time at the window as well.

By far this is the cleanest and most friendly of the Castles' I've ever been to. Even the drive thru is quicker then nost!

Nothing like a murder burger on a late weekend night. Not nearly as affordable as it once was. And the milkshake doesn't taste as good as it use to. But nostalgic non the less.

Sorry, but this review is based off of one and only one horrid visit. Order the two person combo, sack of ten with two fries and drinks. Asked for Jalapeno cheese. I've had many of these in Chicago.. never a problem. In Chicago. Its just a jalapeno cheese on top of a normal white castle burger. In Nanuet, they added some strange tasting red sauce. Wasn't ketchup. Since I got drive-thru I never had a chance to find out what it was. It tasted a bit strange, maybe like a mild sauce. I had two other guys with me also trying to enjoy this meal. A groomsmen and a groom. This was the early morning hours on the day of his wedding to be. All three of us had VIOLENT diarrhea. Like, GOD PLEASE HELP ME... diarrhea. Like.. I promise not to sin anymore if you please help me diarrhea. I was in fuckin' pain. I'm not saying this just to get more people to click this review as funny. Nothing was funny. It was ALOT ALOT of pain. Luckily the feeling hit me within three hours of eating. After an hour of tedious immense gut wrenching pain. It finally subsided. Never again.

I don't know what it is about these gnome burgers and chicken rings but... I love them? Am I wrong for this..?!?! I don't have White Castle within basically an hour from me so when I am near here, it's my sweet sin spot. My sister actually cried once when we arrived here (no, she only weighs about 110 lbs.) Anyway, the quality is no where good but there is something homely about these steer burgers and fake poultry donuts that I adore. In fact I am now craving them and sadly will not reunite with them for a while. The prices for these are going up which irks me. I think .50 cents a pop is decent [though not the case anymore] but I know some of them are up to almost 1.50$ a burger. WTF?! Place is usually clean, employees from Jamaica do NOT want to be there but sorry ma'am... gimme my meats. I also am quite fond of their coolio quarter machines. Gotten some stellar DIsney princess rings from it. All in all, I shall return. I guess I am one of few who can truly have a Harold & Kumar moment here.

"Murder Burgers!" That's exactly what you are going for so to say anything terrible about this place is just begging for a slap in the face cause you basically know exactly what you're going here for. Not a White Castle for miles in the Hudson Valley region and coming to this location is always a treat. What can I really say about this place, it's White Castle; the occasional pre-meditated murder of your stomach which we every so often "crave".

Good cheeseburgers and fries. Food at this location is fine. The problem I have with this location is that they are slow. Sloooooooooooow. So slow. I've been to other White Castle locations in the Bronx and they are much faster and sharper than some of the troglodytes that work at this Nanuet location.

Love White Castle but I live far away. Downloaded White Castle app and was gifted with a free meal. Ordering on the ap was fun and simple. The service was quick and the food was good. Seafood patty sandwich was yummy.

White Castle is the only fast food burger joint I still go to. It's a family favorite that I went to as a kid and now I get to enjoy with my kids. The food is always good and the customer service is great.

White Castle might just be the best fast food restaurant there is. I finally made my way to the Castle of White and I was not disappointed. I ordered cheeseburger sliders, breakfast slider, fries, chicken rings, hash browns, fish nibblers, and a shake. The price is insanely cheap this meal cost only $18. The fries were good, they were crispy and flavorful. The chicken rings were great, they were seasoned perfectly and the texture was awesome. The hash browns were small, but packed a punch of flavor. The fish nibblers were fresh and coated to perfection. The breakfast slider was delicious, the egg and sausage was cooked perfectly. The bun was crispy and flavorful. The shake was a little thick, but had good flavor. Now onto the cheeseburger sliders. They are maybe the best sliders I've ever ate. The bun was toasted and flavors I can't explain poured through. The burger was juicy and the cheese was melted perfectly. The fried onions and pickles brought it all together. These burgers have something in them that changes you. After I ate them I felt amazing. I was wide awake and felt like I had powers. Overall, White Castle was awesome and I just want some more.

Fun place. Cheeseburger slider was good. Fries and onion rings not so good. What can I say...fast food is not my thing, but had to go after watching Harold and Kumar. My first time at WC... Tables needed cleaning. Our server was very nice!
